This place sucks! It is one of the ONLY places to eat, looks great , waitresses and front of house staff act like they could care less you are there.. My hubs and I went to IN to see some of his relatives.. and we stopped here to eat on our way to their house.. well my 2 yr old was everywhere on the booth , we ordered a appetizer plate first with everything fried you can think of... Mozz sticks, potatoe skins, mushrooms, fries.. and we had a hair in the potatoe.......sooooo we sent it back, they brought us a new one.. fine , fine.......then ......i ordered a cobb salad because I was trying to get something easy....right.....so my toddler is going nutso.. and I am trying to cut my salad.. first I put the dressing on it (as it was on the side in a silver cont) sooo first I seen a chunk of something come out.. wierd.. I ordered Ranch dressing......anyway , didn't worry....just kept on with left hand on toddler and then back to salad to cut up.......Finally I got a bite.....EWWWWWW Blue Cheese........I HATE Blue Cheese.....sooooo I couldn't eat it, made me sick.. so I told the waitress and she sat and tried to School me on the kinds of blue cheese vs the ranch and that if I had blue cheese there would be chunks, I told her of the chunk that came out when I poured it, NO she says I was wrong, and proceeded to go and get a sample of the blue cheese , then plops it on the side of my table and points with her finger almost in it , "See the chunks"....WTF!!!! so then she just leaves the table and the blue cheese that I told her I don't want.......WTF.. so I get her back ( she was like 50 yrs old too) I have seen her there 3 yrs ago.. she should know the menu.......anyhooooooo... I get her back and she says that , that is all the ranch they have.. I didn't have time soooo I said fine get me the salad with the garlic dressing..she leaves goes and gets another salad.......#2..... she comes back ALL Proud of herself......she says" I know now why you tasted Blue cheese... there is Blue cheese in your salad..." WTF I am thinking.....is she smoking something.....I don't want blue cheese so I sent it back and now she brings me another with Blue cheese........... I said can't they make it without blue cheese????? she said " You will have to special order it ".. WHat???? I am like I told you at the beginning i didn't want it......anyway , the manager lady now steps in.......and proceeds to tell me that this is how they serve this salad and they are making me a 3rd salad without the Blue cheese and i said I don't want anything and she proceeds to tell me she can box this one up for me??? WTF.. so she was trying everything to charge me for this salad that I don't want and didn't from the beginning..........SOOOOOO at this point screaming toddler on my arm the whole time I was talking to all of these people..I am getting upset. Hubs ate, baby hasn't ate much and I can't even get a decent SALAD! Soooooo I got loud with this manager and told her that it is Not my fault that her waitress didn't know the menu.. she said they made 3 salads for me and I told her they would of never had to do that if the waitress knew from the beginning that it had Blue cheese in it, I told her that your not gonna force me to eat something I don't want.. she threw her hands back and said I am not, I said , then Why do you keep setting it in front of me and telling me your gonna box it up.. I told her I dont' want to be a bad cust , but your bringing me no choice, it is not my fault that you made 3 salads.. It is your fault, because had your waitress known that there was blue cheese I would of never ordered it in the beginning! Finally after alot of yelling , she took off the price on my bill......we then got some to go boxes for the rest, and the dumb waitress that brought crackers for my daughter came by and took them ??? ERRRRRRRRRR that was the only thing my 2 yr old was eating.....pissed me off, then she proceeded to NOT give us a bag to take our boxes in....so we had to ask for them when we paid.....and my hubs asked for a bag and some crackers and then the people in the back were saying "he wants a Bag of crackers"..........OMG.. they are lucky I didn't light a fuse to that place...it needs a complete overhaul.........do not be be fooled that it is the ONLY place in town that looks good, go to the greasy spoon , you will get better service. Stopped here with the parental units and the resident Nihonjin a while back. Its pretty much what you expect for a Greek diner : huge portions with soup, salad, and dessert included. Plus ridiculously low prices. Now if they could export this concept to the West Coast...... read more

This is the one time I'm going to have to laugh at the Chicago folk over the Hoosiers. I think the visitors don't realise this is actually an area chain retaurant and not even a very good one. I think those that aren't regulars think this place is nostalgiac and aren't paying any attention that everything served here is fresh...fresh out of a bag, freezer, or can. It's just your average chain restaraunt food. Just plain food nothing exciting or with pizzaz just your basics. What can I say it's bland and average on a bad day it may be less than average. It's usually just decent but never better than average. A good place if your just getting a meal out of the way and just don't care. You know, not much better than home if at all, but you didn't have to cook it type places. Not bad but not good either. read more

Cristos in Knox our favorite to go restaurant. We usually get carry out and occasionally have missed something that's why I gave it a 4. Also have eaten in. I do have my favorite servers. Food has never disappointed us. Best soups, in fact I've been known to order a quart of my favorite soup to bring home. Love the new manager. Friendly and caring. read more

New Manger with the best personal service I ever had. My girlfriend has multiple food allergies, and was given several samples to determine what she could tolerate. Even created a special combination bread bowl she total enjoyed. Waiter even "chased " us to the parking lot when we left a personal item at his table.. I always come here with my church or aunt. They always love it here! I love it here! The food is always a 5/5! The waitress's are always friendly and are a joy. Horrible place. I found a ball of melted up plastic wrap in my daughter's soup. They told me my service dog wasn't allowed in there. He's trained and better behaved then the children that were running around and yelling. I wouldn't go to either of his locations (this one and one in Plymouth ) if I was paid to. read more

So Cozy and the old farmhouse front porch is sssooo cute and makes me feel at home on the farm at my Grandmas kitchen...the food is always great and a good value Their Round the clock restaurants and christos are nice too with a cottage like one in schererville, barn in highland, and the old train station in la porte as well as the cozy christos in la porte...they even have a great brunch and banquet hall ...de luxe for weddings and such i hear serves up to a few hundred for meetings....Nice owners...not yer old greek snack shop...their attention to ambiance and variety makes em my choice over chains when i travel thru n.w. indiana!!!! read more

I had the Asian Stir Fry. There was no taste. Then I ordered the Italian Beef. There was plenty of meat but thats all it was. Just beef. No Italian ingredients like Green Peppers, Onions or Mushrooms anything else that makes it Italian. The juice was not Italian Au Jus. I don't know but maybe a Greek restaurant shouldn't try Asian and Italian foods. It doesn't work here for me. The fries and the ham and bean soup were terrific and so was the coffee. The buns were good but cold. I like hot buns. My wife had the fish sandwich and it was good. I may go back and try something else. The restaurant was very nice, clean and the waitress was very nice. Mediocre food. Nothing good to brag about, but not enough to complain about either. The food seems like it's not prepared at the restaurant. Large portions but overpriced for how they taste. We only go for the all you can eat ribs. read more
