Gorgeous hotel in downtown. It's actually one of my favorites, across from the Fairmont and around the corner from the Hyatt on Wacker. It is beautiful inside, and I was pleasantly surprised my room ready when I arrived several hours early for my conference during this stay. I was given a room with an awesome view on the top floor. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Loved the jacuzzi tub and the large, separate shower. Plenty of outlets and toiletries and ample space. My king sized bed was super comfortable. Loved it! There is ample seating in the lobby, the conference area/meeting rooms are well appointed, and there's a Starbucks, even though they don't accept the app. Parking is ridiculously priced as it is at all of the downtown hotels, but I found a less expensive spot around the corner using an app. This was a short stay but I really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again.

Stay here while doing a training with Microsoft from Sept 10-13th. Really enjoyed the hotel. It was in walking distance of the park, training building & other restaurants. Room was very nice. Loved the decor. The hotel had an outdoor pool & hot tub on the roof. Hot tub wasn't very hot though. Beautiful views of the Chicago skyline. Also had an indoor pool & a hot tub. Unfortunately the children took over the indoor pool & hot tub.

I did a staycation weekend here at the Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel for my birthday. The young lady at the front desk was nice to check me early into my room and also gifted me with a nice view and double balcony for my birthday. My room had the most amazing view of the City. Appealing upscale hotel is walking distance from the Millennium Park, Willis Tower and Maggie Davis Park and other Chicago Attractions. I had access to the club lounge on the lower floor, and free breakfast. After, I checked in my room, I went downstairs to enjoy my schedule tea time party. This I bought separately on Groupon. The tea experience was ok could of been better. I had to wait awhile before someone decide to notice me. It was a cute setting but the tea and finger foods and dessert was terrible. The wine was warm and dry. I had the same experience with breakfast. I went downstairs a few minutes before breakfast time. I was seated and was waiting way past time and I was the only one sitting down. Poor timing and poor customer service in the food area. My room had the most amazing view, the outside/inside pool was spacious and enjoyable. I did enjoy my staycation here at Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel. I just hope they they train the restaurant staff better and improve on the food.

Did an overnight stay for a work dinner. The staff, room, gym and pool were great. Oh and I had room service for breakfast. I cant wait to return. Great views also.

As soon as I walked into the Radiation Blu, I was greeted by the concierge. A little flustered from my flight and the desire to check-in before a series of meetings, she took me to front desk. I was able to check in early and I also received an upgrade.* I went to my room and was happily surprised by the view and the spaciousness. I immediately set my luggage to the side and left the room to catch the trail end of a ceremony and attend my meetings. During my stay, I was impressed with the amendable manner of the staff. From answering questions about the location of the business center to room service, I was always greeted with warmth. I was also impressed with delicious smells coming from the restaurant, FireLake, every evening I arrived back to the hotel. Based on the number of people I always saw when I walked by, it was clear it was a popular spot for networking and schmoozing. I finally ventured in for breakfast and enjoyed a veggie omelette and potatoes. Both were delicious. When I asked about an espresso, my server offered to go to the Starbucks located inside the hotel to get one for me. Happily surprised, I ordered two shots in preparation for my upcoming flight. Checking out was a breeze. Fiedl, one the porters, asked about my stay as Ulysses, the front desk manager, checked me out. Chatting about the wonderful experience made the quick checkout even quicker. I was thoroughly impressed with Radisson Blu and would happily stay there again. * I think the free upgrade was due to my warm greeting and smile once I entered. I also think she saw I was a bit flustered by my late arrival for an early morning ceremony that started before my series of meetings.

Really nice hotel with a great staff! Excellent location walking distance to restaurants and shopping. It also has an awesome gym!

It was hell to find their parking and check in was long, slow and tedious to the point they gave us free drinks to have at the bar while we waited. But, the room was pretty, the lobby and common areas were beautiful and Instagram worthy. The room service from the in house restaurant was delicious and our room was 420 friendly, so they got major cool points for that.

I came here for NRA show and know what customer Service means and they were excellent

It was at a nice area. Visited during NRA show, From the check in hostess to the bartenders were really nice and took Care of us. I would highly recommend this place.

    Balcony views, walk around/wrap around

Cute, quaint room! Bathroom had lots of rust and wear and tear. But the views deserve a 5 star!! Decent restaurant inside the hotel

Once in a while, I accumulate enough rewards points that I can justify splurging for a nice hotel. Chicago is one of those cities that basically has two tiers of hotel. The "luxury" and the "budget" with unfortunately there being not a lot of difference between the two. No matter what, you'll probably feel like you're overpaying. I have mixed feelings about staying here. Had I "paid" full price for this hotel (instead of rewards points), I think I would be quite upset, but for this review I am giving it an "OK" score. Vanessa checked me in at the end of the evening. Very polite and professional... she upgraded me into the Ambassador Suite on the 8th floor. An amazing room that included a bedroom, a living/work space, and a really large walk-in shower. I thought I lucked out. First thing I noticed was one of the towels was a little bit dirty. Folded and placed on the shelves, but there was black schmutz on one side of it. It didn't look like *that* but it certainly wasn't clean. There were quite a few rogue strands of long hair, some on the floor, some in the tub. There was a sticky spill of some kind near the work desk. An empty box for extra coffee pods was left on the coffee counter. The bidet toilet did not function. Not necessarily the worst things in the world, but given their list price, I was surprised. I relayed the info to the front desk the next day and asked for my room to be cleaned that day, since they only clean it every third day. She apologized and said she would make sure it was done before I returned. When I came back later that day, it was cleaned, but whomever was there left an opened water bottle in the bedroom. Kinda weird. Oh, apparently the pillows are reused from a Best Western in Victoria [shrug]. The building seems to be shared use with building tenants, which includes all the amenities, which were absolutely slammed with people (including screaming kids). They also rent out event space and there was a wedding party that weekend. So a bit chaotic. However, my "upgrade" was a pleasant surprise. The room is relaxing and tucked away so building noise was minimal (although I could hear guests if they were talking in the hallways). There's a huge walk-in shower and an enormous tub, both were nice. Location is very good. Not super-close to a subway/elevated. close to some bus routes, but quite walkable to downtown stuff. Great breakfast spots nearby. (Eggy's and Wildberry to name a couple) TL;DR: Expensive for the average experience. Probably better than a lot of other downtown hotels, but next time I'm in Chicago I'll probably try elsewhere.

We have enjoyed two staycations here, and both times, we had a blast. They do run the place very well, and staff is excellent. On the most recent trip, the ice machine was out on our floor, and when I made a call for a recommendation on which floor to visit to obtain ice, I was told that it was hard to say which were working so housekeeping brought up two bags. The rooms are clean, and I absolutely love their Chicago-themed sketch art in the rooms and hallways. It is just so cool. My gripe in our most recent room was that the bathroom doors have essentially zero sound-proofing due to design. Also, due to the gap in the way the sliding door closed, the bathroom does not retain as much warmth as it could/should.

this is one of our favorite spots to stay in Chicago. It's close to millennium Park has access to Tesla superchargers and is a short walk to the lake. The service is always incredible and the rooms are really nice. Highly recommend this hotel to anybody that's staying in Chicago.

This hotel was located within the loop near the river, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are basic and small. We were fortunate to get an upgraded room with two queen beds and an amazing view out the window of the city. The window was large and clean. The beds were comfy with ample pillows. Four pillows were provided. The hotel set up is a bit awkward. Room is best for one person as lacks storage for large luggage. Plus there is not a defined bathroom. The shower is within the bedroom. Fortunately the shower was frosted but you walk right into the bedroom so you must be comfortable with those you stay with. Plus the room does really have a deck and chair to work. The desk is a fold down from the wall. The chair for the deck is located on the wall and not really suitable for long term working on sitting as does not have a back to it. The best thing above this hotel are the staff. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating and aim to please. The bartender was super friendly and attentive as well. Lastly parking is not available right at the hotel. You have to walk two blocks. Plus parking cost 59 dollars and that's the discounted rate. Also not really a suitable place to drop luggage off. If you pull up to the front door, you are blocking traffic. Base on price of 400 dollars the night we stayed, I would say it's not worth the stay. Maybe it's worth 200 or less for Chicago.

They finally took my keys then some dude chased me down saying they can't keep them and I have to keep waiting. Oh this made me LATE to my next meeting. $89 a day for poor performance was not worth it. I would 100% suggest parking yourself or a block over at London house. They always have 4+ attendants. Help with luggage and doors etc. oh and it's CHEAPER. We appreciated the room upgrade. The room itself was okay. It wouldn't get below 71 degrees and got upwards of 76 degrees during the day. I want to say that I have had my eye on this hotel for a while now after looking for Hilton hotel locations with a peloton bike, which this one has. Other than that, I loved that the location of this hotel sits in the heart of Chicago, surrounding a plethora of activities which made it the perfect choice for hotel stay to celebrate. Okay, it was an experience going up to the lobby area to check in at this hotel, a blonde moment as I am known for if you follow my reviews. The lobby is located on the 4th floor, so be sure to choose "L" for the lobby because there is no 4th floor button listed in the elevator. Me and two other hotel guests had an adventure going up to the lobby area after trying to figure out where the 4th floor button was. My experience with the receptionist working behind the desk was nothing less than professional. Since my room was already booked through Hilton Honors, the only thing check-in consisted of was a verification of my information, a briefing on what is offered, and the receptionist giving me my room key. For your information, check-in starts at 4:00 PM and check-out ends at 12:00 PM! If you have the Hilton honors application, there is the opportunity to check in with the application, choosing your room, and receiving a digital key, which will allow you to go to your room contactless without seeing a receptionist upon your arrival. I have not used this method, but if you are interested in no contact whatsoever then you can use it with the Hilton Honors application. After locating and entering my room, I thought to myself this is fancy once I took notice of the design and interior color which appeared so elegant! There was a variation of vibrant colors in the room from its curtains to the headboard of the king-size bed, the carpet, and a gold chair that looked like something out of your grandmother's house. Out of all, I just could not take my eyes off the curtains which reminded me of cherry blossoms because of the colors. Inside the bathroom there were liquid products by Gilchrist & Soames Zero% attached to the wall. Throughout my travels, I have noticed that hotels have completely dealt away with the mini shampoo, bath soap, and conditioner products that made great travel hygiene additions. Along with those notable things inside of the room, it met my cleanliness standards. I had no issues whatsoever getting comfortable in the king-sized bed during my stay as my head was engulfed in between the comfortable pillows. While utilizing the shower, I really enjoyed the water pressure; its soothing pressure made me feel very cleansed during each usage. It was wonderful toggling with the spray patterns, with the addictive feel of the pressure hitting my face and body. Other things the room came with that I noticed were a comforter, an iron, ironing board, blow dryer, safe, comforter, a coffee maker (Hamilton Beach), a mini refrigerator, microwave, and USB and AC plugins attached to either the headboard of the bed, lamps, or the television cabinet, which added a nice touch to the room. And the Wi-Fi internet was easy to connect to and not once did I have any connectivity issues with it during my stay. Hampton Inn Majestic, as expected, had an exceptionally beautiful inner interior! As a fitness enthusiast, it was great having a fitness center onsite because it allowed me to keep up with my fitness routines during my stay. I must say that I was pleased to see several dumbbell weights, medicine balls, kettlebells, a decent selection of workout machines, and two peloton fitness bikes which charmed me out of my panties once I spotted them. And oh, honey did I enjoy it on my birthday with the lovely Hannah Frankson as my peloton instructor, who put my legs through torture during her low impact workout. Having the complimentary breakfast was a relief because I did not have to worry about finding a restaurant for breakfast in the morning. And I was highly satisfied with the quality of what was presented. It is served daily from 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM. For you all visiting the city of Chicago, there are plentiful sights, activities, and restaurants within a radius of Hampton Inn Majestic. As a resident, a few that I adore are Willis Tower, Millennium Park, and the Art Institute of Chicago! Next door is the CIBC Theatre, which I noticed upon my initial arrival at the hotel. And if you are looking to explore the city or outer part of the city, the Chicago Union Station, and CTA Train Station are very accessible to-and-from. I would surely book Hampton Inn Majestic Chicago Theatre District again due to my experience with it because the hotel met my comfort needs, and I loved that its location is within an accessible distance of things of interest in downtown Chicago. ~ Live every moment ~ Thomas G

Even olive cake, tragically, gets finished. What stays is service. And Nia. Nia is the reason my long stay didn't feel like a stay. It felt like being known. Her smile isn't transactional. Her care isn't performative. The attention to detail is quiet and precise. She remembered my name everyday and I was there for a while. Makes you think, "Oh, someone is actually paying attention." There's a difference between service and hospitality. Nia understands the difference. That's what brings you back.

Our view was stunning and I loved I could see downtown and the river from our room. We booked the cinema suite for a cute movie night and I loved that. They had a cute popcorn station with candy and pop, plus you can order room service. The spa was amazing and the facilities were nice.

My wife and I are finally reflecting on our stay at The Langham, Chicago, from June 2021, when we…read moregot married and spent a few nights there with family. Although we grew up in the Chicago suburbs and know the city well, it was our first time staying at the Langham, and it left a strong impression. The most striking aspect was how spacious the room felt. We likely stayed in a Premier Room, which was quite large by city standards. The bed was massive, very comfortable, and just the right firmness. A detail that stands out is the space between the foot of the bed and the wall where the TV was mounted, which makes the room feel open and calm rather than cramped. The décor was elegant without feeling stuffy, highlighted by thoughtful touches like an espresso machine. The bathroom was another highlight: the frosted-glass window offered privacy while maintaining a sense of connection, and the rain shower had excellent water pressure and felt indulgent. The location is fantastic, convenient for work in the Loop, time in Grant Park, shopping on Michigan Avenue, or dining in River North or Fulton Market. During our trip, we ate nearby both nights, which made getting around easy and stress-free. The staff was warm and helpful throughout our stay, and breakfast at the hotel restaurant was memorable, even if the details are a bit hazy now. The lobby is beautiful, and several family members who stayed with us also commented on how much they enjoyed the hotel. At the time, pricing felt mid-range for a luxury hotel in Chicago, offering excellent value. It was summer, likely a less expensive time to visit, but even so, considering the room size, comfort, service, and location, it seemed like money well spent year-round. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. We would happily return and are eager to explore other Langham properties worldwide.

While not…read moreluxury, the hotel was very nice and comfortable, and the location was central to our wedding happenings. Everything was great until I checked out and discovered that I had been charged $88 per night for parking. That was quite unexpected. I had been in Chicago just a few months earlier and had paid $55 at the L7 Hotel. So I was shocked that the JW could charge so much. How is their valet parking better than the valet parking at the L7? I realize now that had I been traveling alone, and not with my family, it would have been cheaper to fly to Chicago, than drive the 4.5 hours from Ohio. Apparently the hospitality industry hasn't caught on to the current affordability crisis, or at least Marriott hasn't.

Check in is quick, rooms are fine (and clean), and the executive lounge is nice. I was warned about eating in the bar on the first floor, which I hadn't done in a few years, but it was getting late, and the weather stunk. I saw friends in the bar area, so I took root at the table nearby. Service was fine, and I enjoyed a few of the Amber bee on draft. The menu looked good, and I ended up with a steak fried rice bowl. The steak was gross. It didn't even look like steak that should be served. It was fatty and tasteless. I ate less than 1/2 the rice and 1/3 of the steak. I wasn't starving, so it wasn't a huge deal, but those who told me to avoid the bar area for food were right.

Both have incredible views but I would definitely recommend having at least one meal on the Miru patio if you are there during nice weather. -I was most surprised by their massive gym and has stunning views. It's also open 24 hours. They offered Pilates classes as well for an extra fee. -the hotel is brand new and all the finishes are so high end. The rooms are clean and quiet. The hallways are huge and felt like a maze to navigate but it also added to feeling of privacy. -there were so many high end details that made it extra special (the cozy Frette bath robes, welcome drinks, treat box in the room upon arrival, and the accent lighting in the room). -the location. It's just across the river from the heart of Michigan ave on the north end of a residential development. You don't feel like you are in the middle of the chaos of the city but the park, lake front and river are footsteps away. Negatives: -view was underwhelming ( fourth floor river view . Might choose the park view next time. I'd also recommend not facing the river as there was lots of honking/noise. -the room layout was awkward. They have this huge desk between the bed and tv. The full length mirror is a down a long hallway from bathroom/ where you would be getting dressed. -the room service comes on these huge heavy trays. The staff seemed like they were straining under the weight of it/ it was awkward. -I'd probably skip the spa/massage -$90/ day parking. Was able to do a spothero for about $40 next door.

So, walking from the Blackbawks shop when it's 20° isn't an easy task. Also, I wasn't able to try the Tre Dita since I didn't book a reservation in advance. Hopefully, I can schedule a reservation in the future. Plus, since it was mid-December, the St Regis had their third annual 12 Days of Sabrage, which guests of honor perform the evening ritual of champagne sabrage, which celebrates the transition from day to night. They offered complimentary toast of champagne and a Vosges Haut-Chocolate truffle. The hotel encouraged everyone to bring a new or lightly used winter clothing for children in need.
