We've used Rabbit Movers for two prior moves over the years (2014 / 2019) and have referred them to family and friends for countless additional services during that time. We've always had top notch experiences with the company, up until an absolutely atrocious experience that we had during our latest move in December 2022. Since then, we've used the company MOVERS NOT SHAKERS, and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend their services over Rabbit Movers. Please see below for the experience that chased us away from Rabbit Movers. Moving crew / communication / pack job - Despite several attempts to coordinate our pack job for the day before our move on Thurs 12/1 (I spoke with Joelle mostly and one other rep that week - I believe Danny?) given time constraints at our first stop (we needed to be finished up in the hallways of the new location by 5pm), our request was denied and were told that the movers would show up day-of to pack. - The moving crew showed up on time, were respectful at the outset, and the day started off well, but throughout the day they became wreckless and sloppy and resorted to rush packing our final belongings without packing paper or the appropriate level of care. My wife and I had to load up a number of remaining items into our car that were left behind by the team (whole drawers were missed / left unpacked) - Upon arriving at our new location, the movers were surprised to see that location was a walk up and were visibly irritated / upset. They told me that the front office had not communicated this to them, despite several interactions I had personally with the front office / sales team. The moving crew responded by rushing the truck unpacking process at the new site and were roughly and hastily managing all of our belongings. - This resulted in a number of our belongings getting damaged on the way up (artwork / bathroom supplies / furniture damages / etc.). Our new superintendent had to remind them several times to proceed with caution in the stairwell (they caused several common area damages) as we had breached the 5pm move in curfew discussed above. Bin pickup - We also had a very negative experience with the crew that picked up our bins the week after. After the super let them in to collect our bins at 3:30, he had to remind them a number of times to proceed through the hallway with caution as they were knocking into the walls and bothering the neighbors (additional extensive hallway damage was caused). - The crew also left a dolly and debris in the staircases and then at 3:47 our next door neighbor heard a large bang on our door with sand like debris that sprayed throughout the hallway / front door / into our apartment. - We later figured out from security camera footage in our apartment and our superintendent who came by to clean up after the fact that it was from a fire extinguisher the team used to prop open our door during the bin collection. - We made multiple attempts to contact the moving team to understand what happened that resulted in the damage to the hallway, and their response was that the debris was there before they arrived to pick up the bins. Based on time stamped photo and video footage, along with the fact that no footsteps were visible in the dust in our apartment after the bins were already taken out into the hallway, this claim from the moving team was false. Damaged Items - Standing mirrors (x2)- ripped upholstery - Barstools (x2) - ripped leather - neither were wrapped with protective blankets / tape - Non packed bathroom bin - apothecary jars shattered / cologne jars shattered / skin products destroyed - TV stand - scratches and damages - Sofa - west elm Andes couch damages - broken beam - Paintings - shattered glass painting / multiple destroyed frames from not wrapping paintings in crates with packing papers - Coffee table - scuffs and scratches from not wrapping with packing paper After the move, we attempted to work with Joelle and the front office to find a solution for the extensive damages. It was obvious to us that the Rabbit Movers team was well versed in dealing with poor customer experiences. At one point during a follow up call after the move, I was told by someone in the front office (Danny I think) to 'stop bitching and just submit the claim email since the damage had already been done.' They autoforwarded us to a separate email that dealt with claim issues, provided no condolences for the horrendous experience, and offered a cash repayment slightly above the 60 cents / pound covered under insurance but well below the damages caused by the moving team who did not fulfill their pack responsibilities appropriately. There were a number of unavoidable issues that came up during the move day. I get that stuff happens for what is a very difficult job. What disappointed us was the extensive set of AVOIDABLE mistakes and damages that were caused by both the front office and the moving team throughout the whole mo read more

Be very careful when you request for packing service. After unpacking everything we discovered a bunch of unopened items missing such as Lego boxes, unopened snacks like nuts. Also my experience and a friends experience is for them to upcharge the cost when they are on site. Edit to respond back to business owner. I definitely mentioned I was missing some Lego boxes and some other items. Please take a look at sms that I sent July 4 replying back to number ending in 7210. read more

DO NOT USE THESE MOVERS!!!! First of all, they have a new owner/manager so none of the positive reviews you are seeing can even be attributed to this company any more. Second of all, the monkeys they sent to move my things damaged several items and stole at least one item that I am aware of. I watched them be irresponsible with some of my belongings and called them out. They also damaged items that were being left behind at the place where my items were being moved. Initially the company was so embarrassed by the damage to my belonging that they offered to pay me to fix them. Afterwards, they stopped returning my emails and phone calls. This is not the first time I've had my things stolen or broken by a moving company. Do what I do now - DO NOT give the movers their tips until you have unpacked everything and are sure that none of your things have been stolen or mishandled, even if this means they don't get their tips for several weeks. Stop tipping people to steal your things. read more

Do not use for business moves. Owner is unprofessional and has major anger management issues. He yelled multiple profanities at me over the phone unexpectedly when I was just trying to be polite. Cancelled our job the day before and refuses to refund us even though they did not fulfill the job. We will be filing a dispute to get our money back. If you ever need movers in Manhattan don't use these guys. Use NY Minute Messengers. They charged less and did an amazing job and got us our COI's the same day. read more

Please reconsider working with these disrespectful people. Read the negative reviews because people like this get friends to give them positive reviews. The negative reviews align with my experience. They use a bunch of fake reviews with 5 stars to hide their practices. They had a subcontractor demanding a 20% gratuity for his services. When we tried to explain that this was not explained when we booked the move, he started be-little and insult and I couldn't get a full sentence in. To make matters worse, when I called the company the man on the phone started yelling at me and said he assumed I was an educated person and could read a contract. I don't know how a recommended 20% gratuity is also a mandatory charge. The boss was worse than his subcontractor. I told them I am not paying any more money and my sister gave the subcontractor $60. I found another $200 charge to my credit card from Rabbit. So If you want to do business with a company that saves your credit card on file and makes future charges without your consent then you can continue with these people. If not, shop elsewhere. I have no confidence that these people wont continue to try and charge my card in the future. There are plenty other companies out there that won't steal from you. Save yourself the headache whoever these young men are running this company need to understand that honesty and integrity work better than theft and intimidation. Stay Away! So i need to add an edit since this guy with major anger issues thinks all he has to do is put up fake responses and try to catch another person. Even in his attempt to respond he cant help but try to insult. Trust me this is who he is and the people who work with him don't seem to be better. Check out the other negative reviews. Seems to be a pattern there. Cant hide that. read more

Service was definitely subcontracted to another service company. Awful. Sloppy. Shattered TV. Broken shoe storage cabinet. Huge dent in book shelf. At the end, ran out before I knew what was going on. Why would you source out your job when you have 5 star reviews all over the place? read more

NEVER USE THESE MOVERS. They stored my furniture for about a year and when I moved in to a new apartment, four pieces of furniture were missing. The company refused to compensate me for the value of the furniture. They offered a small amount of compensation worth only about 1/4 of the total value. In addition, a number of other pieces of furniture were damaged by the tape they used or were filthy. Perhaps most troublingly, the movers who brought my stuff to my new home made a number of explicitly racist remarks about the neighborhood and about other staff of the company. UPDATE: The reply posted by the business owner is misleading I immediately reported the missing items as soon as the move was completed. The racist remarks began when the movers arrived. The team lead asked why I would move to such a bad neighborhood. Later, after we discovered the missing items, he asked whether the team that packed my stuff last year was black or white and remarked that the black movers mess everything up and don't take care to do things properly. read more

I'm so impressed by this moving company. They were able to accommodate my last minute request to move the next day and the affordability is what sold me. I was quoted over $100 more from competitors and when the movers finally came, Prince and his crew, were all super friendly, personable and came in and out within under twenty minutes. To be fair, I only had two pieces of furniture and many boxes and some suitcases, but there method and swiftness of getting in and out was incredible. All of my items were unharmed during the move and placed conveniently into my new room. If I have to recommend any movers to anyone, it'll definitely be Rabbit. Thank you! read more

I was pleased with my experience with Rabbit. Prince, Ralph and Landon are an excellent crew. Awful moving service, be warned that if you have anything decent or valuable to move - do not use Rabbit Movers. The movers showed up 2 hours late, did a sloppy job packing, scratched up my leather couch, dented my lamp shades, and broke a big mirror. Then ran out without removing tape or making sure their garbage/boxes were cleared. Let me also add that this service claims to employ artists, and that's the reason why I decided to hire them and support the creative community. Be assured the moved were not artist, or anyone related to the creative community. After making photos of damages and making multiple complaints, I was given a small refund. read more

TL;DR: Service was just okay. A little pricey. Damaged some of my items, but process was smooth. Would've liked a little more care for how much I paid. I moved from UES to Brooklyn over the Memorial Day weekend. Overall, the process was smooth and ~4 guys (2 in the beginning, 2 showed up late) showed up on time to move my 1 bedroom apartment. The total time took about 4 hours (from an elevator to elevator building). The guys were nice enough, but the head mover definitely kept referring to the list of items provided ahead of time to ensure that I'd tip him more if any items weren't on the list. I had called the moving company ahead of time to tell them I had 20 boxes instead of 15, but the guy (Danny) said it wouldn't be a problem and didn't make the change. Of course - on the actual moving day, the movers complained that I had a few more boxes and asked for a greater tip. Other than that, the guys definitely damaged some of my items. Rabbit Moving & Storage - A lot of scuffs on my TV stand - Movers Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

To start off: * "Rabbit Movers" is not a specialty moving service or small company. They are a subsidiary of a much larger moving company. Therefore, do not expect a special truck or uniformed staff. And do not expect a crew who is familiar with the details of your estimate. The parent company will simply sub-contract your move to a wide variety of moving teams in the city. * I initially chose Rabbit based on their description of employing artists and I thought they would be especially careful with my antiques and artwork. That was definitely not the case. Maybe they used to employ artists, but I would not expect that standard of care from your crew. * In summary, if you are not concerned about the finishes of your furniture or the fragility of your possessions, Rabbit is possibly a good mover for you. But if you are concerned, look elsewhere. Here are the anecdotes of my move: * Movers arrived unprepared which resulted in a very long & stressful day. * Management did not provide them with wardrobe boxes. The crew's idea was to put all my hanger items- suits, dress shirts, jackets, etc. - in an old soiled box with no rod for hangers. They offered no other alternative, despite that I had paid for wardrobe box service. So I had to get myself to Home Depot, buy wardrobe boxes, and haul them back to apartment. * I had itemized all the artwork in my apartment for the move, about a dozen pieces with custom framing and glass. When I returned from Home Depot, I found that the movers had sandwiched the frames together, with no padding or protection, and simply bound them together with packing tape. They were loosely placed in a large box. There was no concern for the hardware scratching the frames. And since my move was from Manhattan to Brooklyn, it's safe to assume many finishes would have been destroyed, jostling in back of truck. The movers said this was standard care. So I had to take over the artwork packing myself. * Blanketing and packing furniture was more careless than I think most would expect. It seemed ok if corners or furniture feet were left exposed. My furniture with veneer surfaces had excessive damage. * I had paid for my kitchen to be packed by the crew. Their method was to paper wrap anything that looked like glass or ceramic. But everything else- appliances, stainless steel, pewter, plastic- was simply put in a garbage bag and boxed. So, lotsa scratches on that stuff. And some of the glassware got grouped with the metal and was destroyed. * Luckily I only asked them to move one plant, a 3' tall mature Bird of Paradise- completely destroyed. * Following my notice of these issues, Rabbit credited me 20% of the moving cost (excluding the tip). That didn't cover repairs or replacements, so the lesson is to assume the cost of extra insurance coverage on top of the estimate that you get from them. In one view, "you get what you pay for", but on the other hand, I can't give them a positive review. read more

Had a really bad experience with Rabbit Moving. Booking was great -- professional, quick -- but the packing and move itself was a disaster. The team arrived at my 3-level studio at 9.30am, and only delivered my things (to an apartment 15 blocks away) starting at 4.30pm. I had booked them to pack and move everything -- they left behind many personal mementos, as well as my router. They didn't label a single box. They chipped and broke multiple items -- my dresser, a lampshade, a shoe rack. The guys were nice, but not professional. I would caution anyone against using this company. Update: After I posted this review, they emailed to say they were closing my claim about the damage because "You have posted negative about rabbit movers a few minutes ago," so hire them at your peril. read more

We had a fantastic experience! Moved from Brooklyn to Maine and not one thing was broken, or even slightly out of place. Danny and Chewy were absolutely wonderful, as well as the rest of their team. Movers were friendly, organized, well prepared and moved quickly. They took a lot of the stress of the move off our shoulders and charged a very fair rate for the quality of service. We would definitely consider them again for our next move read more

I get the impression that this company is just a service brokerage. They either purposely didn't relay information to the movers or is part of the hustle to extract a better tip from clients. With that said; I must admit that the movers we got were GREAT! They were fast, and extremely efficient. They went out of their way to make sure to not damage anything. Was highly impressed with how expedient the guys I got were. I hope I get the same guys or the same level of service for my next move. Nothing got damaged or broken! read more

5/5 stars for Bunny, Alex, and team. So responsive and easy to work with. Working with Rabbit was super easy for an in state move from a storage unit to an apartment. Virtually nothing was damaged in the move and the movers were friendly and efficient throughout. read more

Love, love, LOoVEe the experience I had with movers Jay and Robert. First of all, the reason behind my moving would stress out the most laid back Zenned out person..I was operating off no sleep and a poptart I forced myself to eat. These guys were on time, super quick with loading the truck and incredibly helpful. I moved some items in a storage unit and rode along because I had to pay the unit (Manhattan Mini Storage). I had the best time ever chatting it up like I was chatty cathy and by the end of the trip they felt like family! Their presence, personalities somehow managed to de-stress me and I actually had fun moving! To top it off, my friend and neighbor who is not on Yelp had a great experience with Rabbit Movers too!!! Then there's the Peter D. review that lead me to believe that this is truly the best of the best. When I was going through the booking process with Matteo, he had the patience of a god as I was running around the city and trying to plan a bazillion things at once. Even better, he would follow through to find out what I decided and did everything he could to help me figure it out. If you must move or want to, I cannot imagine a better option than Rabbit Movers. I will have to use a moving company again very soon and I might as well save them as a contact in my phone because they have my business as long as I am here in NYC. Feels great. read more

Rabbit Moving & Storage - Best experience I ever had with movers!! Thanks Jay, Robert and Matteo!! - Movers Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

By far the most dissapoinitng experience we've had with movers! Don't be fooled by the photos. Our move was subcontracted to someone else who showed up with a small truck fit to move a studio apartment. We had paid to move out of a 3 bedroom! Because of multiple trips half our items are on the truck, we have no beds, no sofa and many more missing items. No paper, or wardrobe boxes were supplied. Our clothes were just shoved into a box. We are being charged penalty fees from the new building for going over by 3 hours of our window. And the icing has been the rudes human, sales manager Anthony who continued to yell at me and my husband. The audacity of this company to charge you in full 48 hours before the job has begun or completed. Do not trust or use this company. read more

Rabbit Moving & Storage - This is the moving truck they sent to move a 3 bedroom apartment!!! IT was impossible and half our items have not been delivered yet. - Movers Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I booked them based on a recommendation but wish I'd gone with Dyno Moving, whom I had used the year before and now realize were better. Things started off well with Rabbit promptly providing a COI to my building. A few days before the move date, I got a call saying that we should probably start earlier than the usual 9am start time because of elevator restrictions in my new building and so we decided 8am. I should have checked but the quote because it was not updated with this new start time. The movers arrived over 2 hours late. I repeatedly called the office and was told that I would get a call back with an ETA. I did not get a call back until after my 4th call. I had 3 movers. One was experienced and the others were not and even had an argument with each other in the move. They were nice guys and worked very hard, but unfortunately they scratched my bed and my dresser during the move. They also almost forgot to bring up my artwork from the truck, which they had also failed to protect. It was a humid day, and the move was not easy, but too many things went wrong for me to recommend them to others. read more

I urge you to NOT use this moving company. They provide awful, unprofessional customer service. Here are two infuriating examples. I moved from NY to Colorado, and my repeated email requests for any update on when my items would arrive went unanswered. I left town on the beginning of Labor Day weekend, only to get a text from a mover that my items would arrive at 8 am on Labor Day, meaning I had to leave my trip and rush home to greet the movers on a national holiday. Additionally, I was told that my apartment building's giant parking lot wouldn't fit the mover's huge tractor trailer, so I'd have to pay a $450 fee. Annoying, but it gets much worse. Many of my items arrived damaged, thanks to sloppy wrapping by Rabbit. When I emailed photos of the damage to Rabbit, the CEO Anthony Collazo was not only completely unapologetic, but lied to my moving insurance company, saying I "refused to sign any paperwork on the day of the move and at the drop off." When I sent him photos of my signature on the moving paperwork, he replied that that there were other documents I'd refused to sign. (False.) When I demanded to know what documents, he replied, "That is fine you don't have to know I guess." There are plenty of moving options and there is no reason for you to spend thousands of dollars on a company that is both incompetent and extremely rude. UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENT: Fellow customers, if you needed further evidence that this company is a nightmare, just look at the owner's reply. He once again lied, saying the insurance company refused my claim. They did not, and I've attached a screenshot of them emailing me confirming that they'd send a check to cover damages. He also lied about them sending me "paperwork three times," which is totally bogus. If that were the case, why would the owner refuse to tell me what paperwork I'd refused to sign. Moving is hard enough. Don't make it much harder on yourself by hiring Rabbit. read more

Rabbit Movers will pick up, move and store your things. And you will get your belongings back undamaged. That much I can say. But if you expect anything more from the people you work with -- support, consistency, or even just civility -- look elsewhere. Rabbit Movers moved my belongings out of my apartment, stored them for a year, and then handed them over to another moving company that I hired (because I didn't want to work with Rabbit Movers again) to bring them to my new home. Over the course of that time: - The CEO badmouthed two other moving companies, both of which had been perfectly professional, reliable and reasonably priced -- and one of whom I ended up hiring and loving. - They increased my move and storage costs when I added items to an inventory (perfectly reasonable), but refused to lower them when I took things out. When I asked for clarification, the CEO wrote me an angry email reply in all caps. - The movers haggled after I gave them a 20 percent tip. They argued for 30 percent instead, which is an unrealistic tip for service of any quality. - They canceled a move-out four days before it was scheduled because they decided at the last-minute to observe a holiday (again, reasonable, but poorly planned and communicated, with no consideration for the inconvenience it posed to the client). - And they required that my movers use Rabbit's own moving blankets instead of the ones that my movers had brought to their facility (which were of the exact same quality), and charged me an extra $90 for them. I would have cut and run a lot sooner if I didn't fear that they would damage my belongings in storage as retribution. I couldn't in good faith advise anyone to work with these folks, and encourage you to look to the many other highly-rated moving companies in town instead. (I imagine Anthony, the CEO will reply to this review, as is his right, but take note of his tone when he does. It's emblematic of the lack of professionalism with which he operates, and what you should expect if you make the mistake I did). read more

Worst experience with a moving company in my 10 years living in NYC! We had 40% of our furniture damaged and we moved in December 2019, 7 months ago. 7 months later we still do not have this resolved, have not had our furniture repaired, replaced, or any refund. This company is so unprofessional, they do not have integrity or operate with professionalism. We had a beautiful dresser and all they did to wrap it was put tissue paper and a very thin layer of plastic around it -- for furniture they should have used pads and furniture blankets. The way the furniture was wrapped and packed was completely unacceptable and I'm very disappointed. See photos for reference. The worst part is the lack of follow up, and the fact they post on social media staying they have great service. That is not the truth. read more

AMAZING SERVICE!! This was my first time moving in the city and I was a little apprehensive about the cost of moving especially because I live on a 5th floor walk up but Rabbit moving is the most affordable option with EXCELLENT service. Any negative reviews on here I believe are from people that didn't ask all the questions, they give you a 3 hour window of arrival and let you know that if your movers are scheduled to arrive from 9am - 11am it REALLY MEANS 9-11am. They reach out an hour before to let you know they're on their way. My movers arrived 30 minutes before my arrival window and I wasn't charged a "waiting fee" they just simply waited until it was time for them to start. The best part about this company is that they give you a flat rate moving fee, no need to worry about how many hours the movers are working (most places quote you 3 hrs and charge you extra by the hour and sometimes it can take up to 5-6). The movers were two guys from Georgia, they didn't speak English but we were able to communicate with Google translate and had no problems. They were quick, efficient and honest movers I was never worried about any of my belongings, truly deserved the 25% tip. Anthony and his team have EXCELLENT communication with their client, I would recommend you ask any and all questions and your move should be as good if not better than all the fancy companies you see on instagram that charge triple the price. And bonus they offer storage bins at an extra price that they deliver before your move and pickup after your move at a small cost. Can't rave about them enough! read more

If you love a team that gets the job done you will love using Rabbit Movers. My boyfriend and I just moved out of a one bedroom apartment into a home about an hour and 15 minutes away. They were accommodating and met a realistic price point. This was in no way an easy move, We had large heavy items and even machinery. The gentleman that moved us took it on with ease and no issues. They understood what needed to be protected and just jumped right in as soon as they got there. They arrived 10 minutes early to look over everything and started right on time. Rabbit Moving & Storage - Girl (me) holding plant in front of truck surrounded by furniture and items that is being moved - Movers Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

I hired Rabbit to pack my belongings, move them to storage, and then later moved them to my new residence. I was really disappointed that the packing was sub-par, resulting in their damage and loss. What I was really surprised by is that no one ever called, or followed up, to my email and messages. The foreman recognized the issues upon unpacking, noted them on the receipt he had me sign and even took photos of the damage himself. Yet no one ever called, or returned my call. Among the odd packing choices: - taping the blankets directly to the wood table, bookshelf, and bed, resulting in the finish being taken off - putting a bag of golf balls on top of wine glasses in the same box, thereby breaking the glasses. - stacking glasses inside of each other, resulting in them shattering, rather than individually wrapping them - losing the cross braces to the bookshelf, rendering the bookshelf inoperable. and the counter top to the baker's rack What is so odd, is that I was a returning customer, and had successfully recommended Rabbit to two other customers. read more

We engaged Rabbit Moving and Storage in May, 2022 but on the day of the move we had to cancel. The movers were in the apartment and did not comment on the conditions. We felt since we canceled that they should keep the funds we prepaid for their services. Yesterday we were supposed to have Rabbit Moving and Storage do the same move. We once again prepaid for their services. When they arrived they refused to perform the services for which they'd contracted saying that there was an unpleasant odor in the apartment. We had to find another moving company who charged us a premium for the last minute service. The other moving company did not have a problem providing this service. Now Rabbit Moving and Storage is refusing to give us a refund for a job they refused to do. There are plenty of other moving companies in the Brooklyn area, I recommend using one of them. read more

I never thought I'd be raving about a moving company, but Rabbit Movers exceeded every possible expectation I had. Nobody likes moving, and frankly most moving companies often frustrate the process. But from start to finish my experience with Rabbit Movers was superb. I booked my move with Nate, who was so professional. He was upfront about every potential charge, taking time to explain how they inventory and price items (more about that later). On the day of the move, Rashid and Odell showed up right at the very beginning of the window I had been given. I seriously couldn't believe how friendly and enthusiastic they were. Again, Rashid walked me through the process for the day and I really appreciated how transparent everyone at this company is. They then got to work and, despite tackling dreaded walkups, never wavered in their professionalism and friendliness. I've never worked with a moving company that priced per size of item (eg, cubic feet), rather than hourly or a fixed price per job, but have to say I really liked this business model. I think it's human nature that, when moves are priced hourly, we can get impatient with the speed of the movers. But here, I was totally fine with them taking the requisite time to protect and move my items. And it paid off because everything was moved in perfect condition. I cannot recommend Rabbit Movers highly enough and won't hesitate to book with them for my next move! read more

The customer service team told me that the moving team would contact me 45 minutes prior. The window of time was scheduled between 7 AM - 9 AM. I arrived at the storage unit at 7 AM and had gotten a hold of Rabbit Movers at 8:10 AM. Last minute call on their end. One that I was supposed to receive, not make. I live in Jersey and the storage pick up was in Manhattan. When I voiced my concerns, Anthony told me "I don't care if you live in Mexico. Look at the window of arrival time." Then told me "Be on fucking time" but I had arrived before the movers arrived? Made the morning of my move incredibly stressful and left me feeling highly disrespected and disappointed with a service that I had paid for. Why would you confirm a window of arrival time at 7 AM when you wouldn't even be in office until 8 AM? He proceeded to tell me I "was bored" and said verbatim "That's the great thing about being owner of the company I can say whatever the fuck I want" On the other hand, movers : David and Tito, were amazing and respectful. I appreciated their help so much and their humor. I wish them the best. read more

I used this service last week. However, one of my items was left on the moving truck. I did check the truck before the driver left, but because there were other items on the truck I didn't notice. Days later I reached out to the owner ANTHONY COLLAZO I let him know it's a bit unfair for me having to wait until they have a job coming in my direction. I paid money for a service. However, because I was being pushy the owner did not like that. He told me the item was not on the original invoice so technically he doesn't have to do anything. Even though his staff Rose let me know because I didn't have many items, I still have room to add in more. Regardless the driver and the owner confirm they have my item that I've paid for. The owner insulted me he called me a bitch very hateful towards woman, he continued to scream at me even after asking him several times to calm down and let's speak as adults. After we got off the phone, I received another email of him calling me a bitch and saying that he threw my items away and I can go call the police. I truly believe and feel this owner is a evil human being and has hate toward me as a women. The way I was treated as a customer and young lady was horrific. I threatened to file a dispute and requested my money back and that is what sent him over the top. I will never use this company again. PIECE OF CAKE moving company was my original option, they are extremely diverse and know how to work with all genders. I went with this company because of the pricing but I guess you get what you paid for. Here is some messages. If you go through his reviews on google you will see this is his behavior. Update I just recieved another threatening email for creating this yelp review. I am now in fear for my life. he has also threaned to me with court because I am standing up for myself and speaking my truth. You will not silence me read more

If I could give fewer stars, I would. I own a relocation business and work with many different movers. Rabbit Moving is hands down the worst company I have ever done business with. The crew was verbally abusive to our team member upon receiving a tip reflective of their lousy service. The crew illegally dumped boxes with client's name and address in front of another building in NYC resulting in a $500 fine for my client. Communication with the CEO was like trying to reason with an irrational toddler. As a business owner myself, I can't fathom ever speaking to a client in this manner. They dismissed our claim on the basis of I don't know what, despite costing my client $500. I feel buoyed by the other negative reviews here that validate our experience. Do NOT use Rabbit Movers. read more

I found the service to be quite poor. The movers were scheduled from 9-12. I was not officially informed that they would not be coming until 2:30. From there I was yelled at about a discount on the phone and then told the next day I would not receive a refund. read more

I am so sorry to have to share an awful review of this company and in particular their CEO, Anthony Collazo, because they have been GREAT during our past three moves with them. But today was entirely different. According to Anthony, in our terms for today's move, the crew was not supposed to disassemble any furniture. However, they went ahead & disassembled our bed frame because they could not fit it into their vehicle as assembled (unlike in past moves, when their vehicle could accommodate our furniture, including the bed frame, as assembled). Per Anthony, the crew disassembled it and told us it was missing screws; however, it was not, they did not, and it had been completely together and operable before they arrived. When the crew reassembled the bed frame after moving it to our desired location (the frame they weren't supposed to disassemble) they did so incorrectly, due to misplacing screws they said hadn't been there to begin with. After the crew left a large piece of the bed frame fell off. When I then requested they return to fix it, Anthony yelled at me while reading the terms to me that the crew wasn't supposed to disassemble anything -- and then said due to that, it would cost me $150 for them to return to fix it. Needless to say, I said no thanks, will work with my building staff to fix it, and suffice to say will NEVER use Rabbit Movers or recommend them ever again. In response to Anthony's comment below, had the crew brought the correctly sized vehicle today, just like in times past when we used them for moving services, our bed frame would never have needed to be disassembled and Anthony's entire response becomes null & void. Avoid this company like the plague unless you want their CEO to perform revisionist history as per his response below. read more

Excellent. Reasonable prices. First class handling of our precious pieces of antique furniture. They said that they would be arriving at 1 o'clock and like CLOCKWORK they were at our apartment at 1:03 PM. A two man crew. Consumate professionals. Would highly recommend them and would absolutely use these folks for our next move. Thank you to the Rabbit Movers!!! read more

(I accidentally deleted the initial part of this review so I'm re-typing it beset I can) I would like to preface this by stating that the movers were kind and fantastic. Very amicable and easy to work with, even when they hit a snag they kept working to get the job done. The owner of this business has no regard for customer service. He screamed at me and told me to shut the F up. He was claiming that the items for my pickup were larger than quoted. I told him all of the items that are ready for pickup were on the list and he kept screaming that I was quoted 215 CF and I should read my F'ing email to find out the cubic feet (I kept saying that I had no idea what cubic feet were determined because my order confirmation had the list of items I was moving - I don't calculate cubic feet). My first mistake was telling him that I spoke to a woman (who I assumed was named Priscilla because that's who emails were coming from) who I told the dimensions of everything to (racks being 6ft tall x 4ft wide). He then yelled at my saying "you spoke to my deaf assistant?! how did you do that?!" clearly I messed up the name but he was so hung on on that detail that he lost it. His language was foul, he had no desire to rectify the situation. I made have been stern and had a slight attitude, but he was raising the price 2-3x above what I was quoted when there was nothing additional from what I listed to his sales rep. When he told me to stfu and listen I did and he just repeated the same information about it being 200cf and wouldn't let that go (as if I said to his team "yes 200cf sounds about right".) I did not do that math, I just provided information on what was moving as per the attached order confirmation and he would not hear it. He's upset that I was mad. Yes I was mad, I got approval for the quote from my supervisor and he's trying to upcharge me 2-3x by claiming that there is more in the move than what I was quoted?! Double check your quote my friend and you'll see it's all accurate. He decided to cancel the move even though his employees were working. He then refused to speak with me even when I explained to his sales manager that the guys can fit everything on the van when they initially thought it would be two trips. His sales manager said he couldn't go against his boss, but handing the phone to him to deal with an upset customer is not going against him, it's resolving an issue. The owner acted as if I insulted his family or spoke badly about his business when I just kept saying that everything that we are moving is as per the quote. I had initially assumed he had a bad day, but I highly doubt that at this point. Even if I'm mad or giving attitude, you have no right to curse at someone like that as a business owner. UPDATE: I am replying to the ridiculous response I got from the owner of this business. His sub-par handling of the situation and lack of regard for customers is insane. Yes I was mad, mad that I was told I would be charged double (and then triple) when there is nothing pictured for pickup outside of this list that was on my order confirmation. I will not allow you to pretend that I did anything wrong. Maybe I should have stayed more calm, however I did not scream at you. I did not tell you to shut the f&!k up and f&!king listen. You were a complete jerk and you have no regard for customer service. I did not calculate the cubic feet on this order, someone from your team did. All of the items listed on my order confirmation were ready to be moved as planned. I was not asking for additional service outside of what I paid for because I was quoted the price based on what I was moving (and what is visible in the picture). I told him it was ridiculous to charge me double when I provided all of the information and it is clearly visible on the order confirmation as pictured below. Instead he tells me I'm a f*$king idiot. Admit that someone did something wrong on your team, mistakes happen, but do not pretend it's out of your hands and act like we can't find a resolution. Don't curse at me as if I did anything that remotely justified this behavior. His movers were fantastic and realized that they could fit everything while he was screaming at me like a child. They then unfortunately had to unload everything (essentially working double) because he would not speak to me like an adult. Teenagers have more respect than this man. He spoke over me every time I tried to clarify my perspective and of course in that process I spoke over him trying to get my words out. Just because a customer is upset doesn't mean you can throw a hissy fit. Yes it's your business, but it's poor business. I'm glad you said you would pay those employees because they deserve it. They were so kind to me, unlike you. It seems like this wasn't a bad day for you, rather this is your attitude in general and that's really a shame because your team is great. Hopefully you can get your act together. read more
