Fearing that because we weren't the owners, a locksmith would not help us, we contacted the realtor who was able to provide your company with the necessary documentation. Your technician, Edgar, was dispatched and arrived quickly. He was able to diagnose the problem, repair the lock and open the door. I'm sure that to you, that is his job description but to us, he was a life saver. We had driven 2 1/2 hours to get there. They came within a couple of hours after my call same day, which I really appreciated. Ori called me to let me know he was on his way and his approximate ETA. He got here much quicker than the stated time. It is a brutally hot day today, so I applaud him for his very pleasant demeanor during the entire service call. The heat was so bad that it was making me quite irritated even standing outside talking to him! Rather than just program the fob, Ori was super thorough and insisted on educating me on a couple of things. Weirdly, having this car since 2019, it surprised me that he told me 3 or 4 things I didn't even know about my own car!! Remote start, door lock tricks, other remote information...all things that were very helpful for me to know. He even used his tools to inform me that there were other fobs still showing as active and asked whether or not he should kill them or leave them be in case I find one of them. We opted to have him delete them. The chances of me finding them was very small. Clearly, that ship had sailed a long time ago or I would have found one by now, lol. He offered to cut the internal fob key for another $20, which I would not have remembered to ask for and did so. Apparently, my fob exacted it's revenge on Ori, by shooting a metal shaving into his eyeball while cutting the key!!! Luckily, no harm came to his eye! What a relief. This is a great business and great employees. We have used them before for multiple cars/trucks. Always prompt, professional, and expedient. We highly recommend Lockology and Ori!

I've never had to wait more than a few minutes before it's my turn, and the process of key-copying is also pretty fast. The last time I came, I copied 7 keys, which took less than 10 minutes. Since I come on a recurring basis, I reuse their old key rings and ask them not to give me new ones. It's one less thing for me to throw away, and it helps save them money and keep them in business. If I need to copy keys again in the future, I'll definitely be coming back. You might say this is the "key" to a good copying experience.

I called to have a duplicate key made at 3:33 PM on Wednesday. He arrived around 4:45 PM and…read moreattempted to program a new key. By 8:45 PM, we were still in the parking lot and the key was not working. Because I had a flight to catch early the next morning, I suggested that we stop and put everything back together. However, he encouraged me to allow him to continue programming the key. He told me if he put the pieces back my car would be loud and the alarm would keep setting off. He finally completed the work on Monday, and my father picked up my car on my behalf since I was out of the country. When I returned and got my car back, there were components that had not been reassembled. In addition, new issues had developed: 3 of 4 windows no longer roll down, and the driver's side door no longer locks properly. I now have to lock the car by opening the rear door and manually pushing down the lock. I attempted to replace the window fuses, which temporarily restored function, but the fuse now shorts every time the windows are used. The driver's door continues to malfunction, never fixed that part. He was very nice and clearly works hard; however, I wish that if he was unable to program the key, he had communicated that upfront rather than continuing to work on my vehicle. This process resulted in several hours of lost time, significant expense, and additional damage to my car. I have now paid $740 for this service and will need to go to the dealership to address the issues caused, with no way of knowing what the additional repair costs will be. I have been told by him that I need to travel to Hayward or Oakland, but I live in Sunnyvale. As a single mother of two, it is extremely difficult to find the time to make these trips, especially after already spending days previously waiting while the issue was unresolved. As a business owner, taking payment for work that resulted in further damage rather than a solution has made this an unfortunate and highly inconvenient experience.
