I have a storage key replaced at Imperial House. This company is always at Imperial House. I told the locksmith I must go and do an errand and come back. Once I'm not driving I will pay them. Within an hour I receive harassing phone calls and text about not receiving a payment. I request an invoice. My invoice states I have a 30 day payment term. I'm paying the invoice on the website within 2 hours of the service. The owner of the company, David, is still calling and texting me while I'm paying the invoice interrupting the entire process. It was a very bizarre experience. The invoice is paid in full and the exchange got really nasty Because he feared I would not pay the invoice. He knows where I live but he fears I will not pay. This company is quite strange. I would avoid them. I also experienced what Regina experienced. The locksmith gave me the same routine with the Kevin Stack and Kayden open the door with his tool I left a long and within five minutes it was fixed. And I got this bill for $251. One of the members of my club lost a key to a lock in a storage center. The lock had been oh place for 20 years or so! We needed to get access to the storage for a big community picnic and had no key! I called Quickly Locksmith based on a Google search. Based in the numerous positive reviews I called. They could be at the center in 20 minutes! When the tech came he called before and when he arrived. He was pleasant and professional. Not a fan. Perhaps the bait and switch shouldn't limited to this company, perhaps that is what the locksmith business is all about? So - I got locked out. Upon recommendation from the front desk, this company was called. He told me the rate to come out. It was comparable to other places I had called. When he couldn't open the door...tried to pick lock, then used the wire, he said I needed a new lock. I asked how much, he said he'd give me a discount but wouldn't name a price before he started drilling. $service fee + $120 for a new lock? Really - before the discount? I should be grateful for the slight discount I received and I suppose there should be a charge for a weekend day call. The guy was really nice and they were quick (the only reason I am putting an extra star). If you need someone in a pinch, they deliver. So some tips- call around for the service charge, before they do any work - ask them upfront how much it will cost (my big regret was not pushing for it)...you can look online for approximate prices for the area...although nothing makes you feel more like a sucker than when you do this after the fact. Don't forget to ask for any fees associated with credit card/debit use. Don't forget to post a review so that we can start to weed out the huge variation in price and service. The prices just seem so subjective. But regardless, this company will not be on my phone for future calls (hopefully never again). read more

Crooks. I'm fairly certain they have a deal with building management to always recommend this company. They have never successfully picked my lock, and always up-charge me for the full lock replacement (3 times now) and a lecture about how I should keep spares with loved ones (thanks for the tip, I hadn't thought of that /eyeroll). The last time they came, they couldn't even "catch" the door handle with a fishing rod contraption to open the door from the inside, and instead left a ton of black scratches all over the inside of the door and door frame. I ended up paying $150 for the replacement, which the guy called a "discount" because I mentioned the Yelp Deal (Pay $95 for $125 voucher) which they refused to accept. (Had I not mentioned the deal, they would have charged me closer to $175 for the replacement). I trusted yelp this last time of my door people and called "My Locksmith" instead. They picked the lock in about 5 minutes and charged me much less than Quickly, about $75 to pick the lock, and had given me a quote for $115 to replace it if it necessary up front. read more

Once the technician arrived he was extremely unprofessional and got his tools stuck and wasn't able to open the door. He wanted to charge me more money on too if what was promised due to his mistake and did not apologize for his mistake. As a result, I had to pay $40. Really bad experience with this company. My mother-in-law locked herself out while my wife and I were running errands. The locksmith shows up and drills though the core of the lock and says that the entire lock needed to be replaced because he cannot fit a new core for a whooping total of $325.00. Without any knowledge my mom let this person to give her some guidance. When my wife and I showed up, the locksmith was ready to install a $65.00 lock in the door to replace a high end lock. This new lock was not just cheap looking but smaller so the guy was planning to add a metal plate to fill the void!!!! My wife stopped the guy from installing the lock and paid $75 dollar to the guy to destroy our lock. Then, the owner of the store proceeded to call my mom to tell her how disappointed he was for not allowing his company to finish the job and that his employee was in the parking lock "crying" out of frustration and that she should allow him to finish the job. To this moment I'm not really sure how old is the owner buy I'm guessing he has to be anywhere between 12 to 15 years old to cause this much drama. I did dome research on our look to find out that it was a $250.00 lock. I took it to AAA Miami Locksmith who were great. Nicest people, they explained to me that the original lock didn't need to be drilled. They replaced the core and made three copies of the keys for a whopping $11.50. Yes, $11.50, and QUICKLY LOCKSMITH not just bullied my mother-in-law but tried to charge us an extra $238.50 for an $11.50 solution. I would NEVER recommend this service. I spoke with David, and he quoted me 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I called and said I didn't need the service, he said I called him 10 min prior, and I said no, it had been over 30 minutes and that I cancel, and hung up. He called me back and yelled at me and told me he knew EXACTLY who I was and that he would come get me to force me to pay. To be clear, I am female and he has access to my building as the locksmith on file. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE to be threatened by him, when he could not keep his original time frame. No apologies for being later than expected, but a straight you cannot cancel, I know exactly who you are and I will come there and GET YOU TO FORCE YOU TO PAY!
