He then came back a couple of days later and installed everything and made sure that my server was connected and everything ran properly. For apple devices only capable of 5 ghz wifi band, I got an increase from about 120mb to about 250 mb. On Devices capable of using the 6 ghz band, I went from 120mb to about 700mb. Then he helped set up my work server so that other employees could access my billing database so that I did not need to have a complicated and manpower intensive way of getting everyone's data into the master file. He went above and beyond the call of duty, was knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommended.

They ran coax underground for about 40 feet, ran audio and coax along my pergola, connected outdoor speakers, mounted a 65 inch tv and connected everything to a Sonos connect amp. He listened to my electrical concern, told me he could come drive down all the way from Boca Raton to Miami and even gave me an updated ETA text prior to his arrival. He was at my parent's home within 2 hours. Manuel gave us a reasonable quote and even emailed us the tentative estimate. The next day his 2 service technicians came out on time. They fixed the issue and had done exactly what was needed. Manuel did adjust the quote accordingly to the service that was installed. He had emailed the revised quote and gave us all the options to make the payment convenient. Manuel and his team were very respectful, kind and so helpful in this process. Most of all the communication was top notch, I was very appreciative of that. After being out of work for a week because my computer broke down, I was desperate. I went to the biggest stores (office depot, best buy) looking for help and support, but I just found apathy, and high prices. I needed to repair my PC, so I took it to best buy, however they couldn't fix it because they did not have right tools. Then, I ended up buying a new device, however this didn't come with the right cables. After waisting my whole morning again going to big computer retail stores, I found this guys here on Yelp, so in middle of my desesperation I decided to give them a chance, and now I CAN'T BE MORE GRATEFUL. I wish I knew about Prime Tech Support since day one when I started having issues. I called in today, and Sandra picked up the phone, she gently help me asking me what exaclty I needed, and then she passed the phone to Darian, who professionaly walked me through the inconvenience I was having, and kindly explain me the solution. I had to get some cables to connect my tower to my screen, it sounds simple, but believe if you aren't on the right hands something as simple as that can take you days. Then he suggested me to bring the PC so he could help me testing it out. So I headed to the store, got the cables, and tested them on my new PC. I couldn't be happier and thankful, I was going to be able to go back to work (after a painful week because my boss is mad at me since I haven't being able to work) and continue with my activities. Background: Macbook Pro circa 2012, running slow after OS X update, and eventually crashed. Genius Bar = 0 help, and Apple troubleshooting was completely worthless. Found Prime Tech Support online, and decided to give them a try, based on previous reviews. Walked into the store, which is somewhat unassuming. Was greeted by Claudia, who from the first conversation, seemed like she knew what she was talking about. Excellent, and I mean EXCELLENT customer service. Walked in on Saturday right around noon, and diagnostics were complete within the next 2 hours, despite having other tickets that they were working on that day. Fixed my laptop, rushed the required hard drive parts, and my laptop was fixed by Monday. Seriously runs like brand new now. Very reasonable prices. To summarize, this is quite easily the best place to go for computer repairs in Miami. I interacted mainly w/ Claudia, who I found to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful, professional, and just plain fun to talk to! They even gave me a discount voucher, just in case, for next time! This was my first experience with Prime Tech Support and I could not be more happy with the process, from end to end. After spending many hours and days trying to resurrect my computer, it became evident that the issue was most likely with the motherboard. I researched online but the only motherboard replacements were used ones in China or those in the US that were multiples of price above what I was willing to pay. I chose Prime Tech Support to see what they could do with the problem. After what was a reasonable fee for analyzing the issue and an even more reasonable fee for actually repairing the motherboard - replacing two micro transistors and removing and flashing the BIOS chip, they were able to breathe new life into this computer. All done without the benefit of schematics ! Their work was timely, reasonably priced and Claudia, the owner, was very patient working with me. This is an HONEST and PROFESSIONAL business and based on my personal experience, I would recommend it for not just the "basic" types of everyday issues but even a highly complex one requiring the technical skills of an electrical engineer. Don't recommend this place at all. They will take your project as slow as possible. Customer service is unbearable to say the least, take a lot of time answer and also quite some insistence from Customer side. Now speaking about building. This is the worst part I have experienced, I wanted to build a corsair 1000D series with 4 radiators and 2 pumps. I bought everything and took it to the store. They said "this afternoon will send you the information about fittings and tubing you need so we can start your build. They didn't. Two full days waiting and when they contacted me was just to say "this is a lot of work, we want to charge you 900 for the build. When they told me more than once price was 600 (520 final build 80 online consultation) consultation which I did where I also asked about the pricing and they said 520 again. Same as the two first time I went to the store, because yes speaking thru email messages or calling (god calls are awful to connect with someone) all that times they said the exact same price. But once they saw wow this a lot or work lets charge him double. Personal advice look for some place else if you want to do a big build. Thanks. read more

This business is the real deal. My MacBook Pro is almost ten years old and started giving me problems. Pink stripes were showing up on the monitor. Two other tech stores I visited told me I would have to replace the logic board (which is really expensive). One of the stores was an apple certified place, but I did not trust them. After speaking on the phone with a rep from Prime Tech, I decided to bring my old, banged up computer to them. And I was amazed at the level of customer service and care I received. This is the only place that sends you a diagnostic with video and photos of the inside of your computer! Genius! Most tech places ask you to just trust them and take their word that they're telling the truth about whatever is going on inside your machine. But Prime Tech shows you a video of your machine on the inside and outside Before, During, and After the start working on your computer. After taking my computer to them, they were able to fix the problem without replacing my Logic Board. Now I'm writing this very review using my computer!!! It's so hard to find an honest business these days. This place is the real deal. read more

After my laptop started freezing up ALL the time and doing other weird things and my regular tech support guy left me hanging, I did a desperate search for help. I found Prime Tech Support on Google, and after reading some reviews, I couldn't call them fast enough. Claudia was my first contact with the company and she couldn't have been more professional, friendly, and knowledgable. She figured out the problem ASAP and set me up with Alex. Alex went above and beyond. Not only did he fix my laptop in an efficient manner, he waited after hours for me to pick it up after work and seeing I was not at all technically savvy, he was kind enough to give me a tutorial on my laptop. Went to Prime Tech for big deal repair and the not only did a wonderful job , they stay after-hours to get it done because they knew I needed my laptop to work that nigh . On top of it my iTunes were going crazy and my DJ program won't recognize them plus my DJ program people weren't the ' nicest " in the word .. I felt totally helpless . I like their system, they send you messages at all times when your stuff is being serviced, there is no waste of time and I always know what is going on, makes everything faster and I can give my input as well. My internal hard drive crashed after downloading an apple software update in the middle of the night/pre-dawn early morning. My laptop wouldn't start up so I reached out to Prime Tech and a few others for help expecting a response the following morning. Claudia responded immediately to my surprise. They were able to recover my data and replace the hard drive. There were a few hick ups, none that was Prime Tech's fault. Prime Tech Support is the best company that do your custom gaming PC. I purchased the parts and took them to another store that I found here in yelp and, and they took 3 weeks to give me my computer back and they could not make my fans to work and then I decided to pick up my parts and take it to Prime Tech and guess what my motherboard and CPU were damaged and the PSU had a broken cable. Fire alarm phone jacks I never leave ANY reviews but after the service we received from this company I was compelled to do so. I was having trouble finding technicians that could connect the alarm jacks to an existing Comcast number. I called and Claudia answered and asked me to explain what my issue was. I explained the situation and she asked me to text her pictures of the jacks and cords. I did and I was sent a credit card authorization form. A technician and Claudia came out within the hour. These guys were awesome. I brought in my PC laptop because the hard drive was starting to fail. Claudia took my information down and started working on it immediately, she called me with a diagnostic update before I even got home from the store. The computer was ready with a new hard drive in just over 24 hours and now it's running like new. I called two other places that had good reviews on Yelp before deciding to go with them. Amazing crew that worked super diligently to restore two towers and a laptop I managed to trash to basically non function. Trust your computers to Prime Tech and NEVER call Quickbooks or Microsoft for help, especially on a Sunday, unless you want to talk to some idiot in Manila or El Salvador. Everything QB and Microsoft did while they were logged in, was wrong and beyond destructive. My Windows 7 laptop was crashing for a few weeks. I had to have it repaired. I had a bad experience with a repair service on the west side of town so I needed to find a good organization fast. A friend suggested Prime Tech about a month ago and when I realized I was so close to them I decided to give them a try. I had to leave the computer with them for a few days or so I was told. At first, I was hesitant but decided to take the chance. I met the store's owner (Angel) and he troubleshooted my computer which he thoroughly went over the issues with me. One of the several things that impressed me was how Angel does one to one service for all his customers and the appointments are set up to be very user friendly via emails and texts. When I picked up my computer, he tested it in front of me to confirm that the problem was solved, and that the computer was running fine. My overall experience was exceptional, and I would highly recommend this store. Angel was very professional, transparent and his experience shows through his work. The prices are great, and the customer service is outstanding. I am a very satisfied customer and will not go anywhere else. By the way it says a lot if Geek Squad suggests this store so my advice to general population, skip Best Buy and just come to PC 911.

I employed "Skals IT" to speed up my laptop and fix the "no sounds" out of speakers or headphones…read moreissue it recently had. Had happened in the last two days, were working and just suddenly stopped working. But did work to an external source like extended screen. The good - he accessed my laptop by remote connection and he cleared a lot of bloatware with CC Cleaner free version. And did get my laptop to run better. But he couldn't get my sound to work on on speakers or headphones and after uninstalling and reinstalling Realtek drivers a few times, he stated that the sound-card must have failed on the laptop, which either requires a used motherboard to be fitted (because new aren't available) or buy a new laptop. The bad: So I did some digging and found an app called "Fortrek for windows". I paid for one year's service and "Fortrek" went right through my laptop, cleared up more junk on it AND updated every driver that was out of date. It rebooted my laptop after all processes and guess what? My sound is now working on the speakers and on the headphones perfectly.

My projector was really expensive and it was making a horrible buzzing noise, they fixed the color wheel, replaced the lamp, and cleaned the machine. The shop owner really had some patience with my machine & I don't regret bringing it here. Other reviews talk about it being more expensive than the estimate, but seem to fail to understand extra parts may be needed once repair starts. Now the picture is so vivid and the fan is so quiet. Only reviewing now because I don't think the rating makes sense considering how great they are.
