I recently hired Blackhawk Security Tech to install a wired camera system at my home, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. Brian was the technician assigned to the job, and he was outstanding. The installation required running multiple cables through the attic in nearly 90-degree Florida weather, yet he worked efficiently and completed the entire installation flawlessly in just a few hours. Brian was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to ensure everything was installed properly and functioning as expected. The quality of his work was excellent, and the finished product looks great. I highly recommend Brian and Blackhawk Security Tech to anyone looking for a reliable and professional security camera installation company. read more

Hello my fellow yelpers.....as I'm sure you can see, I am very active and believe of Yelp so there is no surprise when I say that I found Brian at Blackhawk on Yelp and contacted him solely because of his great ratings. I called Brian and with a quick response, he came over to my house to see what I needed. I was looking to bring my Cablevision to an detached garage, along with wifi and to also bring my cable out to the back of my home for a TV, along with the installation of the wall brackets and TV's as well. This required outside trenching a conduit for the cable from the house to the garage and going under a cement and paver walkway. Brian came, checked it out, had me rest at ease knowing that it can be done no problem. His crew of 2 hard workers, Chris and his Ryan showed up and started the job with diligence. They started by surveying the site for the best route of running the wires, and got to work. These guys worked all day running cables (cat5 wire) and installing all that was needed. They needed to come back a second day to finish up. Chris and Ryan were amazing working really hard as a team and not stopping. My end product...I have my 2 TV'S installed and my wifi repeater in the garage as well. These guys are amazing!! I already discussed with Ryan now a security system and well be getting that done in the future. He gave me a great price on that too. He is coming this Friday to install an electric box on the roof of my garage room to hang a chandeli over a board table. These guys rock. They are professionals and get the job done! read more

Blackhawk Security Cameras came to our family's assistance over two years ago. We were confronted with a serious threat in regards to family custody. The perpetrator was irrational and was a serious threat to our granddaughter who basically had an order of protection against the family perpetrator. Once the perpetrator discovered in court that our granddaughter's primary residence was under surveillance by cameras 24-7, we never saw that person around our house, no less our community. And once the judge was notified about the cameras on site, he referred to any violations recorded by the cameras pertaining to the order of protection violation, on the part of the perpetrator, as a crime subject to immediate INCARCERATION. Thanks to Brian and his due diligence to insure his cameras were fully operational at all times guaranteed the safety of our granddaughter and our entire family. read more

So many break ins and such around I decided I wanted a security camera at my house I went to local stores but realized It was too hard for me to properly set up myself. Called one of those so called free security services that give free equipment etc but a big service charge I wanted a camera so that I could see what was going on anytime anywhere easy to use from phone and actually be able to rewind and be able to "See" live what is going on having seen recent pictures in Newsday of such of things serious as a armed bank robbery and you can't actually see the faces clear enough so what good is that? so I decided for a little bit more I was going to get myself a pro I found Brian from Blackhawk he told me the price for the camera and the install no games just the price no upsells he arrived when he said he would ...and kept in touch via text because his original install date was delayed thanks to mother nature and her blizzard Brian arrived knew exactly how he was going to run the wires did a clean job set up the camera and the app on the phone and I am good to go read more

****Verified Yelp Customer **** Please read: Long Island is not the same place it was 30 years ago. Drugs, crime and poverty are at record levels. Everyday on the news is a home invasion or violent robbery... The best way to protect your business or Home is to invest in an HD home security system. I was having problems in the neighborhood and wanted to have a basic system set up on my property. I called around and was getting frustrated by the ludicrously high quotes, or lack of professionalism from these allegedly trained professional installers.. My wife went onto the Manorville Facebook site asking for recommendations for home security cameras, thats when someone suggested we contact Brian the owner at Black Hawk.. I called Brian on a Wed and he was able to stop by the next day after a job he was working on to provide a quote. Brian walked me through every part of the project and showed me where he suggested we put the cameras and why.. We was a total expert and really passionate about what he does, he even helped me save money by talking me out of an extra camera that I didn't need by showing me how to position one of the others to cover a larger area.. We agreed on the work and he was at my house with his crew in 5 days ready to install... They did an outstanding job keeping all the wires concealed and making sure all outdoor holes were properly drilled in the least conspicuous areas.. From start to finish these guys were great to work with and I highly recommend contacting them to set up a system for your home or business.. There's nothing like an HD system....see for yourself in the photos I posted read more

Where to begin? Truth be told, when I purchased my home last year, I always knew one of the first things I wanted to do was to put in a camera system. Being an IT manager myself, I had contemplated actually doing the work (wiring and purchasing Costco system) myself. I did however, did a little more deep-dive thinking about it and came to the conclusion that the positioning of the camera's is just as important - if not MORE - than the cameras themselves. Not to mention properly hiding all wiring behind the vinyl siding. I was referred to a company that did do IP systems, however, the pricing was astronomically out of my budget. So, I let it go. Here we are a year later - and a wife removed - I pondered the idea again and did more research on other companies and came across Blackhawk. The pricing structure seemed reasonable, however, I was a little skeptic on the work quality and cameras. However, after reading all of the reviews on Yelp - and speaking / getting to know Brian - I pulled the trigger. BOY WAS I GLAD I DID! Chris (Batman) & Mike came right at 10am and it was like a couple of guys that i'd known for years brainstorming on what my wants / needs were. Once all of that was finalized, these guys went right to work. Their professionalism & quality was TRUTHFULLY second to none. After all was said and done, the system was up and running flawlessly and I simply could NOT be happier. I would tell ANYONE reading this who is considering a camera security system to - at the VERY least - consider giving Blackhawk a call to see what they can do for you. Speak to Brian and - BELIEVE ME when I tell you that he will go into detail as much as you need to get you where you need to be at. Thanks for today guys.....it was pretty freakin awesome. -Vin read more

Blackhawk Surveillance was an extremely professional and dry easy to work with. Brian was flexible starting with scheduling a time for the estimate of our job to the installation. The estimate was very accurate and gave us several options to choose from and work with. On the installation date they arrived on time. They were very efficient and tidy with the installation. The job was done very quickly. We are extreemly happy with the installation. The cameras are positioned per Blackhawks' recommendation and have clear views of our whole property. We very happy with the cameras and the installation. This guy is a true gentleman and a great business man, we started looking at surveillance systems for our home, after meeting with a few companies we were disappointed with the quality of people who showed up to give estimates. When Brian arrived we initially were not convinced, he was younger but he knew what he was taking about. After a quick 45 minute explaination we were convinced he and Blackhawk were right for us. I must admit I am a pain in the ass with high expectations, Brian kept all his promises, completed all work on time and his crew of installers were respectful and clean. When they left you would never know they did the amount of work that they did, I was impressed, after the job was complete Brian came back and took his time showing us how to use everything, we could not be happier. I felt the price was a great value. We had higher quotes and lower quotes but Brian gave us value and peace of mind that it would be done right, and it was. I work over 60 hours per week and did not have time to babysit this project, If you want the best call Blackhawk , you won't be sorry ! read more
