Hello my fellow yelpers.....as I'm sure you can see, I am very active and believe of Yelp so there is no surprise when I say that I found Brian at Blackhawk on Yelp and contacted him solely because of his great ratings. I called Brian and with a quick response, he came over to my house to see what I needed. I was looking to bring my Cablevision to an detached garage, along with wifi and to also bring my cable out to the back of my home for a TV, along with the installation of the wall brackets and TV's as well. This required outside trenching a conduit for the cable from the house to the garage and going under a cement and paver walkway. Brian came, checked it out, had me rest at ease knowing that it can be done no problem. His crew of 2 hard workers, Chris and his Ryan showed up and started the job with diligence. They started by surveying the site for the best route of running the wires, and got to work. These guys worked all day running cables (cat5 wire) and installing all that was needed. They needed to come back a second day to finish up. Chris and Ryan were amazing working really hard as a team and not stopping. My end product...I have my 2 TV'S installed and my wifi repeater in the garage as well. These guys are amazing!! I already discussed with Ryan now a security system and well be getting that done in the future. He gave me a great price on that too. He is coming this Friday to install an electric box on the roof of my garage room to hang a chandeli over a board table. These guys rock. They are professionals and get the job done! read more

Where to begin? Truth be told, when I purchased my home last year, I always knew one of the first things I wanted to do was to put in a camera system. Being an IT manager myself, I had contemplated actually doing the work (wiring and purchasing Costco system) myself. I did however, did a little more deep-dive thinking about it and came to the conclusion that the positioning of the camera's is just as important - if not MORE - than the cameras themselves. Not to mention properly hiding all wiring behind the vinyl siding. I was referred to a company that did do IP systems, however, the pricing was astronomically out of my budget. So, I let it go. Here we are a year later - and a wife removed - I pondered the idea again and did more research on other companies and came across Blackhawk. The pricing structure seemed reasonable, however, I was a little skeptic on the work quality and cameras. However, after reading all of the reviews on Yelp - and speaking / getting to know Brian - I pulled the trigger. BOY WAS I GLAD I DID! Chris (Batman) & Mike came right at 10am and it was like a couple of guys that i'd known for years brainstorming on what my wants / needs were. This guy is a true gentleman and a great business man, we started looking at surveillance systems for our home, after meeting with a few companies we were disappointed with the quality of people who showed up to give estimates.
