Very strange situation, . . . long explanation. I got the key duplicated for a very good price, but it was NOT done by the company I was waiting for to arrive, Pro Locksmith. I don't know HOW it happened, . . . but a locksmith arrived and when I asked if he was Avi from Pro Locks he said "Yes". I was surprised because I reminded him that he was supposed to call me before he arrived. He said he tried, but the call didn't go through. Then he quoted a higher price than I had been given over the phone, but I reminded him that he told me a $30 lower price and he honored it. Ten minutes after he left, the real Avi pulled up to my house. He was very surprised when I explained what had just happened. I'll call Pro Locks again if I need help in the future. He was happy with the results so I went ahead and booked an appointment. They gave me a quote by phone and explained that there was a 50/50 chance that they would be able to create a backup key faub. In the searing heat of a super hot day, Avi stayed in the car and called several sources to find solutions after the typical method of unlocking the car's system wasn't working.
