UPDATE: Owner had called me after seeing review. Told me that on weekends the service charge is usually $120 but he charged me $80 because I was outside with my baby and he understands and can empathize with a single mother. Even offered to help me find a job after I told him how the cost was something I wouldn't have been able to afford had I known ahead of time. I let him know the website mentions nothing of service fees for weekend nor was it mentioned over the phone before anyone was dispatched. Hopefully they update that. Had I known I would've called somewhere else or found a hook to do it. 11-18-23 I called at 8:33 am due to having my keys locked inside of my house. They arrived by 9:0The only lock that needed to be unlocked was the door knob which is a fairly simple lock mechanism regardless. I had seen online that it was $35 and he told me that was the service charge, so I'm trying to understand how I was charged $80 altogether, all the guy had to do was stick a hook in the crack in the space that I had made and pop it open. I was referred by a friend to for a new key. I called a few times to price shop. I decided to get a remote key for my car (made from my valet key with them after all.) The technician was running behind I said it's ok when he said 7:30 or 8. He arrived around 8:30. I inquired about a few things while I was watching. I asked about my old remote key if someone can still use my old remote because someone stole my keys. He said they can still get in my car unless I change the locks. I only asked the prices and questions. I never said I was needing it done that same setting. He had to inquire from the company. He had a failed attempt of making a copy and the new key he was making got stuck. He reached out for help and told them I wanted an ignition and keys anyway since the issue happened. He had no option but to force it out. I couldn't afford more than the one key I was quoted for although he told the supervisor he hadn't quoted me yet- not true I was quoted and that's why I decided to get one made. I didn't purchase it because it was the only 1 he had and he cracked the casing. It was now 10pm and dark. I had to think about getting the key being made by him since I wasn't so sure he knew what he was doing. It scratched my ignition and I continued to use my valet. Fast forward now my ignition is messing up and I reach out to see if I can get it fixed but they think I'm trying to get it done for free. I only wanted 1 key. Not $500 for a new ignition. Now they are ignoring all my calls probably blocked me which is very unprofessional. They should cover the damages made not blame the customer and try to over charge and treat them like this is an overreaction and someone trying to take advantage. I called to get an estimate to open a condo's door lock. He said maybe 100$ and anyway a guy will give you the exact amount when he arrives. When the guy arrived he drilled the bolts immediately without giving an estimate. Then when the door opened he unscrewed the chain and he charge me an extra 50$. On top of that, he he was rude. If I could give ZERO stars I would. The person who came and "fixed" my key fob was named Steven. Not only did he take my car apart and not put it back together, but he also did something to where the alarm system and the horn in my car does NOT work. I contacted Steven AND the company multiple times to have them come check it out and fix the mistake HE CAUSED, and all I got was and "ok." They never came back to FIX THE MISTAKE HE MADE and they keep ignoring my calls and brushing my concerns off. This locksmith service is honestly terrible and their customer service skills are extremely lacking. I paid Steven EXTRA because he worked hard on my car, but now I regret that given that I have to spend MORE money know to fix the damage he caused. I would not recommend this place to ANYONE. They are so unresponsive and all they did was disregard my concerns. Not having a horn is a SAFTEY concern and I kept mentioning how important it was for him to come and fix it but of course, he did not care about that. I have called everyday asking for a refund and once again, they keep disregarding my calls and my request. I don't know how they have such a high rating, it's honestly probably fake because this has been the WORST experience. DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!
