I'm so grateful to Mario's Extreme Electronics! I had been trying to find someone who could repair our Casio Privia PX-870 for a very long time, and honestly I had almost given up. They diagnosed the problem and completed the repair in less than a week, and now the piano sounds even better than before! Their customer service was amazing from beginning to end. Everything was explained clearly, the pricing was completely transparent, and we felt genuinely taken care of. My understanding is that this is a family business, and it really shows in the way they treat their customers--with care, honesty, and personal attention that is unfortunately pretty rare these days. My mom is a piano teacher, so having this piano working properly means a lot to us, and she is SO happy to have it back. I would absolutely recommend Mario's Extreme Electronics to anyone looking for professional, trustworthy electronic or audio equipment repair. Thank you so much! read more

Mario Extreme Electronics took my two guitar amps, Fender and Peavey, in for repair. They sent me an electronic ticket for the fee to evaluate the equipment, and I had to sign the agreement. The lady who runs the business side of the store was very pleasant and professional as well They had the amps for about a month and the amount charged seemed fair as well. The amps are working fine. I would use them again for a similar repair. read more

I have a Marantz record player in need of repair. Mario was helpful and provided quality work in fixing my record player. It took a bit longer than expected but was able to get it home before Christmas. Works perfect. read more

Mario fixed my mixer in record time for the best price in town. He & his wife are the best! I would trust them with all of my equipment.

fixed everything to the point where I didn't need to worry about anything. Mario and his team are the greatest!!

I stopped by this place to get help with my car audio speaker and although Mario informed me that he only works on DJ equipment he took a look at my speaker anyway. He was quick able to see that I only need a VERY SMALL and quick fix and graciously help me reconnect the wiring! He even tested that the speaker was working before I left the shop!! Mario seems like a very helpful guy and I would recommend giving him a try if you ever need DJ audio equipment repaired. Just know that this is not a car audio place despite what Google Maps says. read more

I took a synth to change the voltage from 220 to 100. He told me it will be $60. Two weeks later it was ready, he wanted to charge me $250 all of a sudden. His technician told me: we had to change the power supply (trying to justify the high cost). I told him: did you get a new one? And he said no. I know is that they only needed to change a jumper but I didn't know which. Then he said: that synth is $1400!!! And I asked him: are you charging an extra fee based on the street value? These people lack education and they are looking to scam you based on their ignorance. At the end I pay the $100 less the $35 deposit for "diagnostic". But I had to go on a rage. Do not trust this people, they will lie to you and make up stories to charge you more behind your back. read more

As of right now I'm extremely disappointed with Mario. He seems like a nice guy when you first meet him and then I've received nothing but untruthfulness from him. He's now had my speaker for almost 1 month and originally told me it would take 3 days. He answered the phone the first time I called and apparently now he longer feels like answering it. I know nothing about my speaker and he already has the $35 he asks for in order to take a look at the device and the device itself. At this point I consider him to be unprofessional, 2 faced and an absolute liar!! * I would be willing to edit this review if I had some sort of response from Mario. read more

I found this business through a Google search. After reading some decent reviews I decided to take my Magnavox stereo here. I asked them to fix the mechanism of the arm on the turntable, the receiver as it was not functioning and the tape deck. To their credit they were able to fix the receiver and the turntable correctly. They weren't able to fix the cassette deck, which I don't blame them for, and was not charged for. The trouble comes when I went to pick up the stereo. They dropped it on the way to brining it to me and cracked the lid on the turntable. They denied doing it even though I clearly heard them drop it on its way to me. It's a vintage turntable so finding a new lid isn't going to be fun. They also gave me back the turntable without the slip mat. Despite this I still paid a premium price to get some of what I wanted done. I wouldn't go back here unless they somehow rectified the damage that has been done. read more

Fixed my power amplifier. Was fast and reasonable. Happy to find them, not too many people do this type repair work any more.

Fixed my very broken record player in a week! Friendly service and my player is working perfectly. Entrance was kind of hard to find, but its up a staircase to the right of the storefront next door! read more

I took my rare Yamaha PX-3 to him and he was to repair or replace some belts on it as it was wo ringing when I took it to him but wanted it to be brought to spec. First off he only speaks Spanish so unless you do take a translator! My main beef is that I left this with him playing well and my guess is that sometime during testing it of whatever he destroyed the fully functional and very expensive MC cartridge on the turntable! I had a friend of line pick it up because I was out of town so he didn't know to look at it! But then he had the audacity to charge me an extra hundred dollars on top of the $50 deposit I left him already! To replace this moving coil cartridge it's going to cost me almost $400! And without a question he damaged and destroyed it and then acted as if he did not! It was working fine when I took it to him! read more

This company charged our credit twice for one alleged repair. He insists that he only received payment for one of them but my cc statement shows two identical charges. Then he says he has shipped it by Fedex but supplies no tracking information. Multiple calls were made when it never arrived. The guy reassured us that it would arrive any day but since there is no tracking info supplied, I doubt that it has been shipped. There is either incompetence or dishonesty in this transaction. I will consider the equipment a lost cause and dispute the cc charges. read more
