Brought my SUV in for just the front 2 windows last Saturday and am very pleased with the work this company does. We have brought at least 3 of our cars here and always been very happy with the product. read more

Total bait-and-switch. They charged me upfront for an Android Auto install they previously confirmed they could handle, but couldn't complete the job. Instead of a refund, they told me to come back a week later for a recommended unit for $1,200 installed. When I followed up a week later, they bumped the price to $1,800. Kept my money, delivered zero results, and moved the goalposts. Completely dishonest operation--stay away. read more

Been using High Grade Sound & Security for years and they never disappoint. I called on a Saturday and was able to get a same-day appointment for tint on my two front windows and front strip to match my back windows. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Gigi. The lobby has been rearranged since my last visit and feels much more spacious, with drinks and snacks available for customers. After chatting briefly with Gigi and another customer, my car was ready. The tint is laser cut for precision. One window had to be redone due to a hair getting into the tint, but it was promptly addressed and fixed without issue. Excellent service all around. I will definitely continue coming here. read more

I've been a loyal customer of High Grade Sound & Security for years, and they continue to impress me with their quality and professionalism. Most recently, I brought in my black BMW sedan to have the windows tinted with 3M ceramic window tint film, and once again, they delivered flawless results. The business was founded in 2006 by Santiago, who still owns and operates the shop today. Over the years, Santiago has built a solid reputation for high-end automotive upgrades, specializing in window tinting, custom car audio systems, vehicle security, and ceramic coatings. The team uses only premium-grade materials, and their work reflects true craftsmanship. I stopped by the shop on a Friday to get a quote. I was greeted right away by Juan, who took the time to walk me through the different types of window tints and their benefits. Once we agreed on a very reasonable price for the top-quality 3M ceramic film, I scheduled the installation for Monday. By midday Monday, I received a call letting me know the job was complete. When I picked up my BMW, the tint looked absolutely perfect clean lines, no bubbles or streaks, and a sleek finish that really enhances the look of the car. To top it off, they even cleaned the interior before returning it to me. That extra level of care is why I keep coming back. I've brought all of my vehicles here over the years, including my Corvette and they've always done an outstanding job. The 3M film they install has proven to be durable, fade-resistant, and maintains its color beautifully over time. If you're in South Florida and want top-notch window tinting or automotive upgrades, I highly recommend High Grade Sound & Security. Santiago and his team are professionals you can trust. Thanks again for another excellent experience! read more

Look no further! The best care and attention to detail you can find hands down. I had gone to a reputable stereo shop, I won't name it, with the intention to completely redo the sound system of my truck. Instead I was left with a subwoofer, no changes to the door speakers, missing tweeters, and an overpriced amp that cannot supply enough power. I called High Grade after looking them up online. I reached Juan who knew the right questions to ask, convinced me to bring my truck to the shop, and provided excellent service throughout the process. I was given the details of everything that was already installed on my truck, options to address the issues, and routes to reach the goal I had in mind at different price points. Juan explained everything and knew when to call in Santiago, the owner and mastermind, to help explain complicated things with ease. Santiago and Juan thoroughly walked my through the work to be done and stayed after hours to complete the sound system on my truck. When I arrived to pick it up, we tested out the sound system and Juan pointed out issues with the display (which was installed by the prior shop and not touched by high grade). Instead of leaving me hanging, Juan and Santiago stayed hours past closing time, maintained the same attention to detail while walking me through the different parts they were changing and cables that they were connecting, and ensured that my truck was completed and working properly. Through their display of effort, attention, and customer care they received a customer for life and leaving this review is a small sign of my great appreciation. Thanks guys! See you soon for the next project. read more

I came here in June 2023 to have my dual dash cam (front and rear) with parking mode installed on my C7. Everything turned out perfect--the dash cam works flawlessly, and the hardwiring for the parking mode was done perfectly and continues to function as intended. Now, in January 2025, the installation has truly stood the test of time, continuing to perform without any issues. read more

I had some high hopes for High Grade but I'm feeling disappointed with their work. I requested 2 items: a dashcam install and a left foot pedal install (I cannot drive with my right foot). Dashcam - no problem, they can do that. Left pedal: They need to see if they can do it. I bring my car in and they say they can do it, bring it Monday. I bring it in Monday and they do the dashcam but say they are not comfortable installing the pedal. I understand 100% if they don't want the liability for an improper installation. For me, the pedal is more important than the cam. If they were not comfortable installing the pedal, they should have said that from the beginning. To be clear, they didn't say they COULD NOT install it (there is no technical reason they cannot install). They did not want the liability. I understand that. But instead of being upfront about that, they took the money for the dashcam install but changed their mind about the pedal. So I still need to find someone for the pedal install. I would have preferred to have a single installer. For the dashcam, the install is ok. They were supposed to hide the wires but they already popped out (about 10 minutes after driving away). I don't feel the price matches the quality, but it's not terrible. I'm sure they would fix it if I brought it back, but it just doesn't seem worth it to me. Hence, 3 stars. Would I recommend them? Not really, but your experience might be better. read more

I am a returning customer. I am writing this review because a good business deserves to have a good review. I am not getting paid for this, I want to share with others that they can get high quality jobs, with high quality materials, and attention to detail here and for a fair price. The first time I went to this business I wanted to get high quality window tints installed by a business that not only had high quality materials but also had a plotter to cut the window tints and avoid damage when doing it manually on the car. The ceramic window tints that I installed on all the windows was great. They use 3M. Awesome product. Then I came.back a couple months later to install a Full front PPF because I liked the quality of work of the shop and installing PPF is a very delicate process that I wouldn't trust any shop to do, especially when it costs thousands of dollars. They use Legend Prime PPF which is arguably the best PPF product. Great quality of materials and processes. I did extensive research on PPF and this shop kept the bar high on materials, quality and a price that is fair. What you get is high value for the price you pay. Others which high value as well charge high prices, this is not the case. I got an 8y installers warranty and 12y manufacturers warranty on the PPF. Full front includes: everything painted in the car color in the front bumper, hood, side fenders, plus the headlights, and also the side view mirrors even if these are not painted in the car color and it's just shiny plastic like most are. I paid extra to include the grill as my mazda3 hatchback turbo 2023 has a front grille that is made of shiny plastic and would look ugly after rocks and things hit it while driving. This happened to the front grille of my Mazda Miata MX-5 Club 2016 and the front air dam as well. read more

I highly recommend High Grade without reservation as the place to go for your car audio needs. A bit more than a year ago they installed an amp, DSP, and sub in my car at a great price point and they did an excellent job to boot. Fast forward for today, one of front door speakers gave out. I was able to work with Santiago and his crew to purchase a replace set of component speakers which fit the sail panels on my Accord and were also a massive upgrade in sound quality from what I was currently using. read more

When you want the best forget the rest. 5 star service with no issues. I also been using High grade since they have opened.

The guys at High Grade replaced the factory 1.5 Din radio that came in my truck with a double Din touchscreen radio. Santiago explained the details of the installation before I made the purchase and suggested I buy a dash frame since the original dash frame would not accommodate a double Din radio. It is an old truck and the parts just aren't made anymore. When the part arrived, I took it to High Grade and Andres wrote up the order. He answered a few more questions and I left him the keys. I did not have to pay anything up front since Andres told me I could wait until the installation was complete. Hernan did the installation and it was flawless. The new radio looks and sounds amazing. I have a backup camera and handsfree telephone connection. I can hook up my phone and use Google Maps, Spotify, and other apps. I am an old fart and did not know how to use all the features on the radio but the answers were only a phone call away. One of my stupid questions was where they put the USB port. I looked in the ashtray and cupholder drawer but couldn't find it. Andres told me to look in the glove compartment and, voila! There it was. I love my new radio. The public is safer too as I now can see what I am about to run over when I back up. They probably saved a few lives. The guys at High Grade did a fantastic job on my truck and made the entire process a breeze. I highly recommend them for all your automotive audio needs. They are smart, fast, and extremely knowledgeable. I hope they see this feedback because I may be back soon for them to upgrade the radio on my old Lincoln Town Car. Oh, by the way, their prices are extremely fair. I know because I shopped around before selecting them. read more

Only pertains to their ability to follow up since they did not get back to me with pertinent info to carry out the service. Went in to get some work done, the owner isn't there and the employee took down my info so the owner can get back to me (so whats the point of being open if you can't do anything without the owner being there?) The employee was courteous and provided good suggestions, however, ultimately couldn't do anything for me at the moment. He gets back to me a few hours later after talking to the owner, quotes me a price for an install. Okay cool, sure, I tell him please send me an email with the written estimate (why is the price what it is; price breakdown what components, head unit, model of speakers are being used to get to that price, etc...) Its not the same to use 30 dollar speakers vs 90 dollar speakers, 100 dollar h/u vs 300..basically what am I getting for that price I was just given. Give them my e-mail, to please send me the price out so we can get this underway...this was 5 business days ago. Oh well I suppose. read more

I called to ask if they were open and available to tint my front car windows. The person who answered told me yes. I said ok thank you and hung up. I drove there and when I arrived, with an attitude, she tells me no not today. The owner Santiago came out to tell me that I hung up before she could tell me on the phone that actually they couldn't do the work today. He was friendly and polite but this is poor customer service and wasted time. I wouldn't recommend. read more

I have a 2006 truck which was in desperate need of updating. After my cousin couldn't install the radio, speakers, and backup camera properly, I had to find someone who could. I was afraid maybe what I had ordered was damaged during shipping or I had received something that needed to be exchanged for some reason. I found High Grade Sound & Security and decided to give it a try based on all the excellent reviews. I can say the positive reviews are there for a reason. The owner was professional and knowledgeable about everything that needed to be done and it was all taken care of the same day. Prices are also reasonable.
