We just got a new car and we didn't even have to ask around, we brought it straight here for tinting. Over the years they have tinted a few cars for us, they used to have a Kendall location closer to home, but even as the location is further away we decide to stay with someone we know and trust. Adrian was really helpful, did a good job explaining the different material. I didn't know that but now there'a a material that can absorb the UV and heat and is clear, so perfect for the windshield!! In Miami you really need all the help to not get baked inside your car! There are a few chairs inside, with TV and a Keurig machine for tea and coffee. We went to the library down the street for a little while as they worked on our car. read more

28 years ago I brought my Volvo station wagon to Solar Tint and they did a great job on a vehicle with lots of glass! Flash forward to November 2025 and I am cleaning out the glove compartment and found the guarantee that came with that installation. Well this wagon has been sitting in the hot Florida sun all these years and of course some of the tinting was bubbling. I called and spoke to Adrian who told me to bring it in for a look and he told me that he would honor the guarantee and replaced all the window tinting. Did I mention 28 year old tinting!! Turns out that the car was no longer in the computer for automated cutting of the film panels for each window so Adrian had one of his top installers (Joey) manually cut and fit each window. It took a couple of days but was well worth the wait. I can't recommend this company enough - great detailed work, excellent communication and a real dedication to customer service - pretty rare in today's world. I have tinted at least 4 other vehicles there and will continue to use them for all my future purchases! read more

I feel that they did a great job on my Subi. I love ceramic and I know it's pricey but you really do get what you pay for. They are a 3M dealer and they recommended a certain type that was perfect for me. Job was done in a day and I walked out of there a happy camper. The place was a touch hard for me to find as my gps kept pointing me toward Commerce. The actual shop is on 70th street and faces the parking garage. They offered me a lifetime of the car warranty on the tints so I'm really happy about as well as my cars usually are with me 10+ years. read more

Had my Lexus dropped off for 3M ceramic tint. They did the job pretty quickly but it turned out they did a bad job. Less than a year later the film was peeling off. I had to take it to a different shop (out of state) and they said the previous shop did a terrible job. Edit: so the owner is trying to save face. Just take responsibility. I have attached a photo of my warranty card to prove that I had my tints installed at his location. read more

Just under ten years ago, Solar Tint installed window film on my new 2013 Honda Accord. Recently I noticed the film was bubbling and peeling on the back window. My wife decided that rather than replacing the film, she would just prefer to have it removed. I agreed with her so I called Solar Tint. I was amazed by the following; 1) they still had my purchase receipt 2) they confirmed my purchase was still under warranty 3) they gave me an appointment for removal 4) they started on my car at the appointment time 5) they did a perfect job on removal 6) there was NO CHARGE due to the warranty. I am amazed that a company still honors their product and labor warranty almost ten years later. More so, kudos to Kristina for her professionalism and excellent customer service. My son will be tinting his new Sportage next month, and we'll be doing it at Solar Tint! read more

Found this place on the fly like a few months ago when I was looking for a good place to have my two front windows tinted. Boy did I luck out! Turns out this is the same The Collection takes their high class cars to. The service and work is fast and friendly. They definitely know what they're doing. They get you in and out in a matter of minutes. I'm not sure if they make appointments but this place gets packed from what they told me inside the office. You might want to call ahead. If you want your tints done right l, I recommend this place. read more

I always bring my new cars to solar tint, great service, easy to make appointment, and have top quality films to meet all your needs.

Came here to get my new car tinted. The service was very professional & quick! I was in an out within 45 minutes. The front desk attendant, Kristina, was also very kind and definitely made me feel confident in my selection. read more

Every time I get a new car, this is my first stop after the dealer. This is the third time I've come to Solar Tint and will continue to recommend their services. Be sure to call ahead and schedule an appointment. The process is fast, quick and easy. Their prices are reasonable and they will honor the 10% discount that is on their website. The tint looks great and does not have any tacky logos or words printed on it. read more

Yelp very rarely fails me.. And it definitely didn't this time. I called last minute today and they were able to take care of my new whip.. They were able to match up the factory tints on my new odyssey almost to perfection. Pay around 95 plus tax for the top of line 3m film. Highly recommend.. Super nice staff and front desk receptionist is super professional and sweet. Five stars all he way Update-I changed my review as I realized they knocked the inside of my car with the blade right by window. So annoyed.. I've had my car for less than two weeks read more

Solar Tint Miami - Unfortunately just saw this two days after I had tints done.. Although tints came out great this is unacceptable - Home Window Tinting Near Me - Miami, Florida

Every single one of my cars has always been tinted- it's practically a necessity in this relentless Miami heat! I used one main company but it is just way too far and I wanted something closer. I looked for yelp to help and was able to narrow it down to two, but ultimately chose Solar Tint since it was closer and they work on many cars from the dealer where I bought my car. I only needed two windows tinted since I have an SUV and all the windows except the front come tinted from the factory. I called the same day and was given an appointment at noon. I arrived and they had me fill out the 3M warranty card and they took my car. Not even 30 minutes later and it was done and I was good to go! They did a perfect job matching the tint to the rest of the car windows and it looks perfect. I paid $95 for 2 windows but it is very good quality tint and comes with a lifetime warranty against peeling, cracking, and fading! Definitely wouldn't hesitate in taking my car back again! read more

Solar Tint Miami - Matched perfectly to the factory tint! - Home Window Tinting Near Me - Miami, Florida

My appt was at 9am and I was out by 920. Did my 2 front windows. Great customer service. Comfortable waiting area. Highly recommend.

The owner and installers were all very knowledge and patient with my indecisiveness over which tint to use. The installation went smoothly and the installers worked very clean. There was no mess left behind and it felt like the dash and doors were cleaner than when I dropped off the car. The quality of the work is top notch. They told me there would be some spots in the tint for a few weeks until the adhesive fully cures, but they did a good job of minimizing these spots because I can hardly see any. read more

I call to make an appointment for this place and Martha was the lady that answered the phone. Probably one of the most professional and polite people i've dealt with at any establishment similar to this one. However she did make one mistake that makes me regret my purchase as a whole. Because this is my first time putting tints on my car, i didn't know how the whole legality issues worked. I simply went with the darkest legal tints. She failed to inform me that police officers cannot pull you over for dark tints, so i would've easily gone with the darker tints that looked so much better. I heard her explaining that to another customer and i was so mad but it was already too late. I decided to wait at the place instead of leave because i had some work to do. The place is clean and pretty comfy, but the lot is very tight. She told me it would take a little longer than the initially quoted one hour and a half, which i was ok with because she told me before i chose to stay. So i was aware of this time. I asked about an hour and 50 minutes how long it would be and she said, "its almost done" after asking the guys. 20 min passed and i asked again, she said "5 more minutes." 20 more minutes have passed and that is when i decided to start this review... 2 and a half hours after my initial appointment, i finally get my car back. The tints came out fine although not the ones i wouldve taken had i known the initial information. Long story short, don't wait here and don't expect the car to be done at the time they tell you... Great product. Fantastic hostess/receptionist. Atrocious wait time and Quote times read more

Bought a car at DEEL VW and was given the incentive of free tints. This place is a little challenge to find without Google Maps but once i arrived after making an appointment it was smooth sailing. Took about an hour for tints, got it done and no complaints at all. A+ Recommend very professional read more

Recently tinted two of our vehicles at Solar Tint... cannot be more pleased with the end results. For our SUV, they recommended their 3M Ceramic product... it was a perfect match! For our other vehicle, a sedan, they suggested the 3M Color Stable film (more affordable than the ceramic), I was amazed how quickly the car was ready... all windows were done in less than an hour. They are real pros! Highly recommended A+++ read more

This place is amazing!! Our car was done in an hour. The lady in the office was lovely and extremely helpful. She even went out of her way to cut a paper cup down for my dog to drink from. Would go back in a flash and would highly recommend. read more

First and foremost the customer service here is top notch! I called three different places before I called Solar Tint and each place I called they all answered the phone with "hey" ummm you're a professional business and you're answering the phone like that? Nope. I called Solar Tint and the girl on the phone was so professional I immediately made an appointment for that next week. I was already out on the road doing errands for the day and I said let me see if they can fit me in and they did. I got there at 11am and fully knowing it was Saturday, I knew I would have to wait. I fully expected to be out of there may 2-3pm and nope was out of there by 12:30 and that's because they fit me in. I'm sure it would have been quicker if I would have made a weekday appointment. Wonderful job, they let me look it over and fixed any bubbles that I saw. They were a little higher priced than what others were quoting but the service outweighs what experience I would have received at the other places I called. I highly recommend Solar Tint. read more

Solar Tint did an incredible job when it came to tinting and wrapping my Tesla Model 3. They warranty their labor and honored this when I discovered some issues with the original install. They happily scheduled an appointment and corrected all issues addressed with no hesitation on their part. This is a testament to their commitment to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend them for your next auto tint/wrap. read more

The only place we take our vehicles...we see them at least once every 2 years. The work is top-notch. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed. I called early in the morning and they were able to fit me in same day to tint the front windows of my new car. I was in and out in 20 minutes. The staff was exceptionally nice and very thorough in their explanations. Love how they matched the tint to the factory tints on the rear windows. Lifetime warranty was a great bonus. I highly recommend them and will be back with my future vehicles: read more

This is by far the best place I have ever been to for tints. The price is reasonable and the customer service is exceptional. There aren't too many places where you are assisted by a company's manager. I dealt with "Richi" who helped me decide on which tints to get. She had a lot of knowledge as to what the laws are for tints and was extremely nice and patient as I made my decision. Bottom line, her service was exceptional and the tint quality is second to none. Hands down I recommend this place. read more

I called to get a quote .. The lady that answered the phone was extremely rude. I asked for a quote for an SUV and she just told me 3 different prices and didn't want to take the time to explain to me the difference in all three. It seemed like I was bothering her and she just wanted to end the conversation. She was lacking in basic customer service skills. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

Solar Tint just tinted some windows in my house. Boris did a great job - the window doesn't even look like it's tinted! I picked the clear tint that blocks 99% of the harmful UV Rays and rejects more the 50% of the heat. Now I can enjoy the room because it's cooler and I don't have to worry about the harmful rays. Robert made the process quick and easy by quoting me over the phone. I'm a very happy customer and would recommend them. Going to get my car tinted next! read more

Although it doesn't stand out when taken at face value, this place is a gem for all your tinting needs. It's a small operation but from my understanding they get a lot of referrals from high end car dealers in the area. My husband had used them twice before with perfect results, and when I purchased my new car both he and my dealer recommended this as the place to go for tints. They did my two front windows and my windshield. I like my car to be as cool as a dark cave to set off our crazy Miami heat. I stopped in on a Saturday as a walk in customer (they take appts M-F but not on Sat). It seemed to be slow that day. They quoted me the price, $60 for the fronts and $150 for the windshield, and I left my new baby with them and walked over to Sunset Place. The car was ready in just over an hour and they did a great job. Best of all they give a lifetime warranty! read more

I want to start off by saying I am definitely recommending Solar Tint to all my friends and I will be a repeat customer. I've had window tinting done on all my cars through out the years and I've never returned to the same place twice untill now. I was very impressed with the facility and the quality of the workmanship but the most important part to me was the customer service. The young lady at the front desk (I can't remember her name) was very helpful and patient with me and answered the thousand questions I had with a smile the entire time. She was genuinely nice and super helpful and that set Solar Tint apart from the competition in my opinion. I will definitely recommend and I will return for more service soon! read more

My 2nd Beemer in 6 years...highly recommend this business. Fair pricing and professional experience from quote to finish.

Found Solar Tint yesterday while sitting in my car waiting for my girlfriend to shop for some things in Target at Dadeland mall. Gave them a call and they told me to head on over. Staff is great , the time went by very fast and the installation is nothing short of perfection. I got their 3m 35% and can't complain... It looks great . Solar Tint Miami - 3M certified, good stuff ! - Home Window Tinting Near Me - Miami, Florida

My boyfriend took his Lexus and my VW Jetta to get the windows tinted, and we received such a great service/ labor. They explained everything to us with ease and patience. I made an appointment for the day picked up my new car to have the windows done. They computer cut all the film right there for the job that's needed so it's not just some old window tint kit they have laying around. They've got the good stuff!! Since this was my first tinting, I didn't know what to expect so when they were finished and what appeared (to me) to be bubbles and dirt in the film, they assured me it wasn't...but being the perfectionist, I wasn't happy, so they went out of their way to completely redo it all on their time and dollar to make sure I was happy. NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. Of course nothing was wrong the first time; they had it perfect. After all, they are the professionals!! They did a perfect job...both times!! I should have gone with a darker tint, it being Miami with this brutal sun. I'm definitely going back when the time comes! read more

Solar Pro is one very impressive company. They are extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell. It was a real pleasure working with Mary Ann and crew. Their pricing is very competitive as well. If you are looking to get your windows "retinted" you should strongly consider Solar Pro. I received quotes from other companies who claim to be proficient at "retinting". However, I received a bid from one company who was more than double Solar Pro's bid. I work in sales. When you offer a customer products or services at prices much higher than your competition, that is what I call a "go away price". That tells me that the company isn't very interested or confident in the job that they are offering. So, they bid extremely high to make it worth their while... Jamie is the lead-tint technician. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable. He and his assistant were in our house for 6-7 hours, retinting several colonial windows as well as 3 large double sliding doors. If you are familiar with colonial windows, each window consists of 6 or more separate panes of glass. An opening consists of 2-4 windows. It is quite a tedious process to scrape the tint from each pane of glass. It can be a little hairy too, with the possibility of cracking glass panes by using too much force. Jamie and crew have created a very efficient method for removing and replacing tint. I watched them too. There were no shortcuts to be had either. They used a lot of elbow grease to get the job done very well as well as in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Solar Pro to anyone reading this review as well as to any of my friends or family members... read more
