If you want good customer service and quick response time than this is the company for you. The owner is Robbie and Javier is the one who came to do the job. Both were pleasant, friendly and polite. Appointment time was kept and I was kept informed of their eta. If only most business were this easy to deal with. I am so happy with the job, their efficiency and friendly service. Don't do it! All started out well with Robbie, who installed several magnetic locks at our office. Then we started having problems, one of the keypads started malfunctioning and we needed to change combinations - and for the past 9 months we have been trying to get them to come back and fix. They continually make appointments to come to the office, then never show up - or they come after hours and complain that they showed up and nobody was there. Finally gave up and called another locksmith, who took one look at the system and said we'd better call whoever installed it, the system was installed wrong and he would need to totally redo it. Not sure where all the other reviews are coming from because these people are awful! read more

I have to disagree with previous review. They installed a deadbolt and rekeyed 5 other locks to the new Key. I was only provided two keys for 7 locks. The key cannot be duplicated at HD, only by a locksmith. I called and texted numerous times to get them to come back and make the additional keys. Once the check cleared the bank they stopped responding to texts and calls. They ripped me off. Choose someone else if you need work done. Tell all your family friends and aquaintances to stay away from Dr. Locks. read more

First - these guys were completely professional and above all, conscious of what was happening around them. We're in a very busy office environment where we have reps on the phone, sales meetings and executive briefings. We didn't even know they were here. Clean, courteous and a fast installation. Rob is the only reliable locksmith I've met is Miami. I called him he answered right away, came two days later when it was convenient for both of us and took care of the lock I had butchered. He setup a remote to open and close a magnetic lock by HID. He was quick, clean and professional. I was able to pay with my credit card instead of needing a check (I didn't have one) I asked him to come look at another job that I have with an outdoor gate and an intercom system. Although my initial impression was favorable, when one of the panel systems they installed did not work and had to be removed so it could be replaced, I found they were completely unresponsive to my numerous inquiries as to when they would return to finish the job. A year later, although I paid for the installation of three security panels, I have not heard back from the company to finish the job. They have provided me with lots of excuses, promises to get in touch and finish the work, etc. - but I still have only two working panels and an ugly bracket on the wall where the third panel is supposed to be. These guys are fairly-priced, not a a major rip-off like the rest of the "emergency 24-hr locksmiths" in the Miami area. I called Dr Locks 2 days after I had paid another locksmith $170 to get me into my condo when my lock was jammed. The first locksmith was able to force and wiggle my key enough to open the door (it took 2 seconds). I knew he got lucky but I told him that the lock had jammed before, therefore I would continue to get locked out... He told me to replace the entire mechanism, there was nothing he could do (except charge me $170 for doing nothing!). Dr Locks came and took apart my entire lock and put it back together. They fixed the problem and the cost was about $100 cheaper. Go figure. read more

Robbie was so helpful! Even though he was at the end of his day, he came down to help us with the locks on our shutters, which had gotten stuck, a couple days after the hurricane. The install was seamless and everything works perfectly! He even helped us set the app up on our phones and has answered all questions we have had.
