The good: Quicklys franchise for boba bas been around since I was in high school. I consider it the OG of boba tea but also it is generally inferior to some of the premium tea shops that exist nowadays because the teas here are often flavored with powders and syrups. However, the upside of that is an affordable price (other premium tea places these days charge $7 for tea). The interior is very spacious and open. There is a lot of seating inside that can accommodate large groups. There's a lot of natural light and windows. They offer lots of fun snacks outside of popcorn chicken like NY chicken, Mochi waffles, fries and tofu. I chose the less ice option for my cantaloupe tea and they really did put very little ice. Most places where you request this still put a decent amount of ice so I was pleasantly surprised. The fried popcorn chicken was made quickly and you can add extra spicy powder on top afterward. The bad: Many drinks have the option online for "non-sweet" but this isn't possible with many flavors because the flavors are mostly sweetened syrups (the fruit ones especially). There's no outdoor seating. Sauces for popcorn chicken are all 75 cents each. I got my chicken "extra crispy" (an option to select online) but regretted that because it just made the chicken extra dry. The chicken would've been better with more spices. It also didn't have any fried basil like some popcorn chickens have at other boba spots. The interesting; They prefer you wear masks still (as their cashier sign indicates). This quickly has a cute interior, lots of seating available and clean. They have lots of options for drink and food on the menu. The food and drink we ordered were half good half meh. The milk tea was okay. Mochi waffle was good! Chewy on the inside, crispy on the outside. As well as the popcorn chicken, very well seasoned and best eaten when hot. Come here once awhile when I get the popcorn chicken cravings. Quickly's hands down have the best popcorn chicken. They did close a lot of their other Bay Area locations so I was pretty happy to see a new open clean one open up. Did not regret getting the larger size of watermelon slushie, it's more like of a wide jumbo cup instead of the cup just being slightly longer compared to other boba places' "large" size. Went on Christmas Day, they were super busy and were on point! Since I had such a good experience I sent my husband for more! Although further out I will definitely be returning. It was nice with plenty of seating to wait for your items or eat in. Sucks that it seemed like their business had already been vandalized-- other than that it looked and seemed new. The new location is where Taco Bell used to be. It's bigger and brighter than the old location. More menu items and more drinks. I think they opened last week. We went on Thursday afternoon and they was short line. There is plenty of tables and chairs. They also have outlets to charge your phone or laptops. They also have ny style friend chicken. They were having grand opening specials such as 99 cents drinks and $1.99 for Vietnamese coffee. Our drinks came out fast but there was a longer wait for food which was typical. Of course i yelped this place and it was still open! when i got there was not that many people but after a few minutes ordering lots of people came in and it got busy! i ordered their classic milk tea with grass, lychee, and coffee jelly and boba. And strawberry green tea (no fruit bits tho). We also got popcorn chicken, french fries, spam musbi, and matcha mochi waffle. Their popcorn chicken and french fries were perfectly fried. This location used to be a Taco Bell, I was surprised that they opened a Quickly here. This location is not that bad, this is one of the better ones - I would not go out of my way to come here, but it is probably the only boba shop in this area that opens past 9/9:30 PM every day. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot here. I ordered my usual jasmine milk tea with boba and popcorn chicken as well. The jasmine milk tea was decent, it was on the more creamy side. I called to ask about the menu and the girl receiving the call was rude. I had no idea they didn't do phone orders. Why list a call button on Google maps but not take phone orders? Seems silly. They should not list the phone number if phone orders are not accepted. It was my first time there and I did not feel welcome. I don't mind waiting in line even if I did call in but the attitude was unforgivable. She made me feel unwelcome. She didn't ask how sweet I wanted the drink or if they had milk options. It was far different from the other Quickly's I've been to. The menu is cluttered with lots of options and I can't seem to find which drink is made with real fruit and not the powder. The food options appear to be more than other Quickly's but I can't tell if they use salt first or let me dress it after the order. I'm picky when it comes to my popcorn chicken and I usually go to T4 for it. Since I was in the area and craving it, I decided to try this place cause they were open late. I ordered avocado smoothie with mini boba. I asked to adjust sweetness but she said she couldn't and daughter got the black milk tea with boba. Found my new popcorn chicken spot! Soo good! Giving it 4 stars for the updated interior and menu from the Quickly's of old. However this can easily be a 3 star or below experience because the wait is long for your order. People seem to order a lot and it takes a while to get your stuff so it's a little annoying. Hope they can figure out and improve the right balance for fulfilling orders given that their menu is so big for both drinks and snacks. They even serve fried chicken at a low cost or $10 a bucket. I tried their green tea, popcorn chicken, and fried chicken. Can't go wrong with popcorn chicken and plain green tea for 99c. Would consider coming back for this combination so long as they keep that promotion price. Fried chicken was pretty bland and over battered. Im sitting in the cafe as I type this. I drive across town for this location because it's better then the other 2 near me. I came here at 9:30pm all I wanted was a mochi waffle. She let me know they stopped serving them for the day because they were "about to close", they close at 10pm. I did order a drink and pot stickers. But the mochi waffle is what I really came for. So they were capable of making it just choose not too. Weird. Super disappointed. I work in restaurants of there were no more customers then close early all together. This particular Quickly is becoming my to-go boba shop. They open at 12PM, and begin accepting online orders at 12:30PM. I highly recommend placing an order online since this place can get quite busy. Pretty solid drinks. My sister always gets the lychee slush with boba. But the SNACKS are where it's at! Their popcorn chicken ($6.99) and fried baby octopus ($7.99) are are on point. I like the seasoning they use, and it's super flavorful. You can request it to be extra crispy too. read more
