Stopped in here for a quick drink while waiting for our sandwiches from Joju. I ordered just a regular milk tea and the tea itself was pretty good, not too sweet, and the boba was also really good. They were super fast in getting our drinks together but I did notice that they didn't actually prepare the drinks fresh (it looked like they scooped it out of a container in the fridge and straight into the cup). That kind of put me off a little, but it still tasted really good! read more

Does anyone really think Quickly is good? This is my last resort's last resort. If I want bubble tea that badly and can't find it available anywhere else, then I'd consider settling for this. Their location is actually quite easy to miss. If it wasn't for the huge Quickly's cup in front of the store (recently put up), you could walk by and not notice it. It's hidden in the middle and it's a little maze to get to the entrance. Staff is pretty nice here compared to the other Quickly's I've been to. Milk tea all the way! My ultimate favorite part is that they seem to be the only Quickly's in NYC that has coffee jelly. But they do run out really frequently. read more

Brain Freeze with Tapioca I stopped by Quickly after a large filling meal nearby. I tried the Lychee Slush with bubbles (tapioca). Food: One of my fellow cohorts decided to try the fried popcorn chicken (or something similar to that) and shared with us. Overall it was dry and bland. There was nothing impressive about it. The fried squid balls look so tempting. I don't know if it is the name, or if it entices me because of my obsession with calamari. Service: The drinks are out on the counter before you know it. Of course the more complicated the drinks the more milliseconds you will have to wait to receive it. I'm sure you will have the patience for that. Overall: My recommendation is to try the drinks first (you have many options) and if you are hungry I would say try the food that most tickles your fancy. The next time I stop by, I will try the Fried Squid Ball. If I wasn't so full I will have ventured into unfamiliar territory. The price is great for what you receive. Very rude person at the counter. Pretty bad attitude and she just slams your change on the counter. Afterwards she just leaves your drink at the counter and slams the straws as well. Shame this is one of the last Quicklys in New York and this person is giving everybody a hard time yet the drinks are still good and the only reason we returned to this chain. read more

This place holds a lot of memories for me. I remember being a tiny high school freshman and that the first time I have ever had bubble tea was in this exact Quickly's. It was a taro milk tea and it was an experience I could never forget. I remember coming here after school often and spending all of my pocket money just on bubble tea. And 6 years later, not much has changed. I've found other bubble tea joints to feed my cravings, but I still come back here occasionally. read more

Yeah, it's quick. I'm also obsessed with milk tea lately. Their boba are, to me, the perfect consistency, and they're always in perfect proportion to the volume of beverage, so that they don't run out until the very end, and there are few, if any, left over. I am a bubble tea fanatic. Quickly's is definitely better than KFT. Simply because the tea here isn't overly sweet and there is more of a selection. Quickly's was probably the best thing that happened to Elmhurst. Serious. The prices have risen recently. Instead of $2.50 for a small, it's not $2.75. Therefore, with your student discount, it's $2.25. It's still not a bad price for bbt. My order is always the same, Peach Green tea with no tapioca. I'm a big bubble tea fanatic! I go to Quickly located in Queens and Manhattan but I go to the one in Elmhurst often since it's the closest one near where I live. The place is tiny with three tables and a few seats. I usually get my drink to go. The staff are friendly and quick with your order. I love the quality of my bubble teas. I always get my drink in cold so I don't know how the hot teas are like. My fave teas are taro milk, black tea, and coffee with tapioca. I also get passion fruit with lychee from time to time. =) Quickly is a pretty popular brand so I don't think it matters which Quickly you go in the city. The sucky thing is Quickly raised their price from $2.25 to $2.50 to $2.75 now. Good thing I still have my college ID for a .50 cent discount. =P The drink portion is decent and the quality is good so the price of the drink is not bad. Ordered taro slush and classic bubble milk tea today. Both of the drinks are bland. My boyfriend's taro slush even has ice cube in it. My bubble tea tastes like nothing. Bubble is tasteless, I don't know if they are supposed to soak their bubble into sugar water or not. But service is really fast. read more

Since all the bubble tea shops all are not use real milk, then why pay $4 or $5 dollars to vivi or Kung fu tea? Store itself is very clean. We stayed and drink a little bit. There are no acceptable bubble tea shops where i live so i always find myself coming to this Quickly whenever i am in the area (usually having lunch at Pho Bac next door). I always get the honeydew milk tea with bubbles. It is soooooo good! My favorite! Whenever i come here, my family stocks up on bubble tea, buying several drinks to enjoy the day after or even after dinner. The place offers student discounts which is nice. There is a wide assortment of flavors to choose from. The staff behind the register are nice and prompt. read more

I love Quickly's but for some dumb reason they don't give SUNY Stony Brook students their student discount. It's so lame when I go with my long time friend that attends Baruch. With his CUNY ID, everything is A-OK but when I take out my ID, it's a no no. I can easily be a dick and give them less stars for the student discount situation but it's not that big of a deal. But anyway, their tea and tapioca here is great. The flavors here are pretty good and they don't leave a powdery taste like Ten Ren's. I prefer Quickly's over Ten Ren's any day! read more

I've never had a problem with quickly until today. It's usually my go to spot for a drink since they're quick and they have delish taro slush. Today I went with my little siblings and the girl behind the counter was so rude. In the middle of taking our order she decided to have a conversation then my little sister asked her if she got her order and she said yes. Then 2min later she asked for her order again. She must've messed something up at the register because she said "your mom" to it. Just because you curse in Chinese it doesn't necessarily mean that it's appropriate to do so. After taking the order she rolled her eyes at us. For what reason? I honestly don't know. If you're having a bad day please don't ruin everyone else's. I've been a customer since it opened. Hrm I thought I reviewed this place. Strange, ok well here goes. I discovered Quickly's first in SF and was so glad they started opening them here in NY. This one is a great location, after a hearty meal in Elmhurst it's just around the corner from the restaurants. Also I had to find a replacement bubble tea place for Oz Cafe which is directly across the street. Do not go there! Not even if Quickly's is closed. I'm warning you for the sake of your own health. This place is perfect, it's small convenient and, as the name says Quickly. I always get the same the following: a) Black milk tea with coffee & bubbles b) Taro black milk tea with bubbles c) Almond black milk tea with bubbles Keep in mind: The VIP card only works for cold drinks They DO serve HOT drinks at this location (The one on Kissena Blvd. doesn't) They now offer tasty fried snacks for only $2! (Squid balls, fish cakes, and chicken bites) The prices are great, very competitive and I like the tasty snacks. There are very few seats in this tiny location (4 little tables), so it's best to take it to go. read more

I go here a lot and the bubble tea they serve here is pretty good compared to other places (and other Quickly) that I have been to.

Taro tea with Boba is my ultimate favorite indulgence. Of all of the new tea shops popping up quickly remains my favorite one. The teas are creamy and smooth which I prefer over places that tend to have gritty textures in theirs. Students get a small discount! read more

Everyone must've came out of hibernation this past Sunday night when tropical storm Irene hit over the weekend because the line was 25 minutes long! I had no idea how packed this place would be but it was only one guy taking orders and making the drinks while the other 2 were in the back cleaning the space. I mean really, don't you think the sooner you serve your customers the faster you guys can clean the space together and leave at closing time? It is indeed in a prime location right on Broadway in the midst of all the Asian restaurants galore. Ordered the grapefruit yogurt with lychee jellies and the taro slush with tapioca for the hubby. The drink was good for me but there were hardly any jellies. The hubby downed his taro slush since he was waiting in the car for so long! Pretty decent pricing. Always use your student ID card, you'll end up saving a good amount. Everything here is good, better than all the other places around this area. Favorite drink is probably the Thai Iced/Milk tea with pudding and jelly. During the colder months, get their hot grass jelly, it's also very good. I love going for a drive at night, so I get some friends and show up here often just before closing. I'm not very adventurous so the bubble milk tea is all I buy ever. I tried the taro milk tea and I found it gross, but my siblings like it. It's like having a grape soda expecting a coke. They rarely having anything on the menu - like the fruit bubble teas and slushies-but then again I do show up just before closing so I'm not even mad. Anyways, they have a record prep time, which is important to me. I park so crazy, and the place is crawling with coppers just looking to give out tickets, but the girl inside prepares my order in under two minutes. That's like 6 bubble teas in under two minutes, bagged and ready to go. Crazy huh? Also a plus - they take student ID-like 50c off each drink - so that ends up being a couple bucks off my entire order. Give the place a try if you're ever in the area. read more

Not bad, really not bad at all. I absolutely love getting hot black milk bubble tea here, it's the perfect drink on a crazy cold day. When I took piano lessons across the street, I used to come here every week to get some boba and some delicious fried chicken. Get the chicken. You will eat it and be happy forever and ever..I tend to prefer medium spice. In terms of cold drinks, I usually just get some variation of black tea, ie blueberry, strawberry, etc. Make sure you bring your student ID! read more

One of the best places to get bubble/milk tea. It's cheap ($2.75) but if you show your student ID, the price decreases by 50 cents. Also, if your in a rush to go somewhere, don't you worry! they give your drink 30 seconds after you place your order. Only issue is that the place is small, not much seating. Quickly is my family's go to place for a good consistent bubble tea. Slushies, regular bubble teas and even the hot ones for the winter are all good. My only complaint is that they don't make the rare slushies, like red bean slushy or chocolate slushy after a certain time. It really depends on the person behind the register.
