Bubble bubble! Bubble tea! Quick on the go bubble tea! Location: it is located along Elmhurst, few seatings inside. Service: not much interaction, I just ordered and wait for my bubble tea. Food: one my favorite bubble tea place! TARO: as always this is good! Taro with bubbles is great! But you can try it with pudding, its good too. THAI ICED TEA slushie: this is the only place that I know that they do it as a slushie so this is a must!! It is my favorite. The pearls/boba is unpredictable sometimes its good and sometimes its not. Price rating: 5 out of 10. Not bad for a bubble tea. I recommend having the thai tea slushie with boba!! It is soo good! read more

Yummy food like pepper salt fries and really love their slush drink and their service there was great.

Ate here today before my substitute paraprofessional shift is over working at P.S. 7 Q nearby for dinner. I had brought green apple slush and extra spicy fries and squid balls. Overall, it was simple, great and delicious. The service was definitely quite good and attentive. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time! :) read more

Some Boba shops make their milk tea THICKLY Some make their fruit drinks sweet and SICKLY Some get their tea from PIGGLY WIGGLY But you'll find good Boba drinks at QUICKLY Don't blame me if your sisters PICK ME Don't blame me if your girlfriends LICK ME Not my fault if your boyfriends want to D**K ME Anyway, wanna go for Boba at QUICKLY? WHAT Let me Quickly post this review and then you can let me know what you think of it. This is a cute little Boba shop and they made me a nice little yogurt drink which I hadn't tried before. With grapefruit. Extremely popular, they assured me, but it wasn't particularly thrilling, however, as far as yogurt drinks go, it's pretty decent, and service was nice. And I'll always remember that they made me a good and enjoyable grapefruit yakult, one of the best I had, and cheap too. The lobby has lots of mirrors, and I think the drinks are good, yum, and very nice. So I appreciate that they were friendly. The lobby looks dated, but then so does your mother. read more

I have been long awaiting the return of the fried mini sausages as my friend has been raving about them for a while. They kept pushing back the time of the return and this weekend when we called they finally said they had them in store. We got 2 orders of fried mini sausage with pepper salt seasoning. In my opinion the fried sausage was not the best and was just very salty. I have also had their fries and chicken before which are also pretty ok and there is a good selection of seasonings. Their boba is where it starts to go down hill. If you watch them make their boba in store particularly on summer days you will notice that they don't make the drinks fresh. They will scoop your drink out of large containers of slush or tea depending on your order and you can taste that the drink isn't that fresh. The boba pearls are also never fresh and also visibly look discolored and old most of the time. (If you do end up getting fresh pearls it's like winning the lottery). The store itself is kind of run down and also has pretty quick service. They eliminated their 50 cent student discount but they are still a pretty cheap spot to go to for boba or a snack. read more

Raised medium price to 2.99, but same quality mediocre drink. Still cheaper than other bubble tea places by a bit (only if you use student ID) Changed it so that you need multiple student IDs to get discounts on multiple drinks. Prior, you could get 50c off for all drinks you purchase (ie. 3 drinks $2.75 each, after student ID all 3 would be $2.25 each), now you need to have a student ID for each drink to get the 50c student discount off multiple drinks. (Ie. 3 drinks need 3 student IDs to get the 50c discount off all 3, if you order 3 and only have 1 Student ID you get 50c off one drink) The price is about the same as other bubble tea places now. I came here 3 or 4 times a week when I was in the city because of how affordable it even though it's mediocre. Don't think I'll be coming here as often as I usually get 2 drinks and take advantage of the multiple drink student discount. read more

I remember always looking forward to a bubble tea from Quickly's. It's hard nowadays with the upcoming of specialty bubble tea shops. Though the price for a medium cup of milk tea is only $3, there's a reason for that. The tea is standard, the bubbles have no flavor and are slightly on the harder side. I forgot to ask for less sugar so the drink was very sweet. I got the hazelnut milk tea because that's not really common in a store like Kung Fu or Xin Fu Tang. I'd rather go across the street to Anda Cafe and get a peach oolong tea. Unfortunately, Quickly's standards have decreased over the years. read more

Although people are hatin' on Quickly, it's probably one of the oldest bubble tea chains left in Queens (or in NYC) as they closed down the ones in Flushing! This location is in the 2nd Chinatown of Queens (Elmhurst) and has one of the best bubble tea prices of all the chains establishments! Quickly makes a variety of flavors and although I don't believe they use "real" ingredients (I believe they use syrup flavorings), the drinks are on point! This location has a few tables for friends to hang out with (mostly teenagers/college students) and is not particularly good for working in. My go-to has always been their mango milk tea which is not on the menu... But they do make it! Cash only. No bathrooms. read more

Quickly has been in Elmhurst and running for years now. Their boba drinks are great for the summer as well as their food, and its pretty inexpensive. I consider myself a loyal costumer, therefore writing this feels weird. I have recently been introduced to their mini sausage, but every time I would attempt to order, it wouldn't be in stock. Finally after a long wait, the mini sausages were in stock, and they didn't even taste good. They were drenched in oil, the salt and pepper seasoning (my favorite) was overly seasoned on it and straight up tasted like a clump of salt with oil. Majority of their food are fried in the oil fryer such as the fried crispy chicken, mini sausages, fries, etc. During my recent visit, I was looking at the process of preparing the food and drinks, I honestly don't know how they passed a sanitary inspection. When they prepare their drinks, the flavor for drinks are all put in a fridge and look like they've been there for days, makes sense on why the drinks taste a bit bland and not fresh. Their tapioca is where it goes downhill, it taste very stale and never fresh. Also they no longer give out student discounts. read more

I love the passion fruit black tea w/ tapioca. I get it in medium with extra bubbles. The drink is very refreshing and the bubbles are very chewy. However, lately I been going into the store and a few of the workers- ALL ladies, not sure if it's the same worker or not since it's been experiences from me, my sister and my boyfriend who had these rude encounters. The worker is short and Asian for the most recent encounter which was tonight. Whoever worked on July 12, 2019 during night shift (9:50 PM) was rude and had a bad attitude, over the phone AND in person. She spoke to me and my boyfriend with frustration. No matter what she shouldn't be speaking to ANY customers with a tone. Doesn't matter if it's late or time for closing, you should act professional at ALL times. TLDR: I went to Quicklys because I have been craving it, and even though they were supposed to be open at 10, when I stopped by at 11:30 NOTHING was ready and I left empty handed. I guess if you go try going in the afternoon :/ I've been CRAVING their taro bubble tea and fried chicken after not having it for years, so when I was in Forrest Hills I went out of my way to stop by. I ended up going around 11:30 (about an hour and half after they were supposed to be open) and nothing was ready. At first I didn't even think they were open because all the displays for the menus were off but the door was open and there was someone a guy standing by the register on his phone. The person working confirmed they were open but when I was in the process of ordering (taro bubble tea & fried chicken) he said the boba wouldn't be ready for another hour, and the chicken wouldn't be available for another 30 mins to an hour as well. I figured I could just get a taro milk tea, with no boba but weirdly he just repeated the boba wouldn't be ready for another hour, so I explained I just wanted the milk tea without boba but he kept repeating the boba wouldn't be ready for another hour. At that point I couldn't tell if he kept misunderstanding, or maybe he meant the taro milk tea also wasn't ready but it was awkward so I ended up leaving empty handed. Overall it just sucked that I went out of my way and walked past probably a total of a dozen bubble tea places from where I was in Forrest Hills to Quicklys for have nothing ready. read more

Review may be a little biased since I used to adore this tiny place since childhood. It been ages and their original bubble tea still tastes the same! Everything about the shop is a bit old school which I love -- makes me feel extremely nostalgic. The drinks are cheap and classic (no personalizing sugar or ice levels like other shops). I'm sure most of the regular drinks are premade ha. If you're looking for some "healthier" version of bubble tea, this won't be your place. Along with a bubble tea, I had their fried "tempura" which is fish cake I believe (wasn't premade though!). Was good, but came a little salty. The single staff was nice, it was a bit slow and chill since I went during the morning on Saturday. Not the best of the best, but will always hold a place in my heart for being a childhood fav read more

Bubble is great, especially love their passionfruit green tea. HOWEVER, their chicken and fry portions are TINY. For 4.50 you get like 10 pieces of chicken which sounds like a-lot but its not, they're tiny pieces. Coming back here after so long only to be disappointed. I've been coming here since I was in middle school and after I moved I couldn't come any more. The drinks are always good and amazing. Today I came in ordered two drinks, I ordered grapefruit Yakut and passion fruit slush and it was good UNTIL I noticed Hair in my drink. My hair is dyed blonde currently and long so there's no way this is mine. I rubbed the drink container multiple times in hope of it just being a strand that was stuck on the container cause it was wet, but horrifyingly no. I don't know what the guys do back there but please check the drink when you make it so there's no hair in there. I didn't even notice because I've been here for so long in the past but now looks like it needs to be checked. Put on a hairnet maybe or check? Can't believe I almost drank a strand of hair. Let me first say that I absolutely LOVE bubble tea. It's one of my favorite things, and can take the place of dessert for me sometimes too. I've tried sooo many bubble tea places from franchises to smaller, less known stores as well. Quickly's is easily one of my favorites. Back then, there used to be many more Quickly's around the NYC area, but they've all closed down except for this one. If you're a student, you can show your ID and get a discount which is always helpful. I'd have to say my favorite drink here is the Thai Iced Tea. Even though I can't drink milk because it makes me super gassy, it's honestly always worth it for me. It's also got some snacks too if you're a little munchy, I used to always get the fried squid balls. They're so delicious. The only thing is, it's cash only so if you usually pay in card like I do, hitting an ATM first would be a good idea. read more

I gave this store 3 stars because the quality has gone downhill. I ordered the taro which was fine, but the bubbles were kind of hard. My husband ordered the rice oolong milk tea and it was NASTY. First time at this location. I got lychee slush with pearls - pretty standard. Having tried brown sugar boba, I will say the boba here is not very soft but given it was also put in a slushee, I think it probably hardens from the cold. Servicewise, the drink came out very fast. Cashier wears a face mask and there is a glass pane between the customer and employees. No dine in, to go only. Also cash only. Also, this wasn't a big deal to me but if your total ends in 99 cents and you pay in full bills, don't expect to get your cent back. read more

The Quickly's in Elmhurst is absolutely disgusting. I went in there for the $5 combo. I ordered a bubble tea and chicken. I was absolutely DISGUSTED when I saw the middle-aged man with glasses who was making my chicken and he SNEEZED/COUGHED in his hands and then proceeded to wipe his nose. I watched him make eye contact with me and then look away. Then, I watched him stick HIS HANDS INSIDE THE PAPER BAG FOR THE CHICKEN and open up the bag to make room to pour in the chicken pieces. Soooooooooo, then the girl grabbed the bag and handed it to me. I told her what I saw and she went back to the guy and told him. He shook his head and chuckled like what I said was something petty. He thennnnnn, washed his hands and made another order for me. He avoided all contact when throwing the chicken on the counter that was too far out of my reach, and he went out of his way to go over to the girls on the register and whisper some sly remark and they all started laughing as he proudly walked to the back. Quickly's used to be a good store when it first opened about 8 years ago, here. I remember I was in middle school when they first opened. Now, portions are smaller, prices remained the same (the student ID discount), and the people there are disgustingly rude. Several times, I went in there and the girl at the counter would give me attitude or be a total bitch, no smile, no respect, and all nasty. I don't know if she still works there anymore. There needs to be changes. That was so rude and disgusting, no one even apologized for the inconvenience and the absolute filth. read more

I haven't had Quickly in a while. Ever since their Manhattan location on Grand Street closed down many years ago, I've been paying $5+ for my bubble teas. I was in the area today and decided to grab myself a $3 medium bubble tea from here. Their bubble tea wasn't the best that I've had, but how many places do you know of where you can grab a decent bubble tea for under $5? The tea was pretty strong and the bubbles were soft, slightly sweetened and chewy. Overall, Quickly is a solid spot to grab inexpensive teas and snacks. There isn't really any seating in this venue, so this is mainly a grab-and-go place. You can even add extra bubbles to your drink for no additional charge! read more

If it weren't for the insanely low prices of the bubble tea here, I would give one star, or even zero stars if there were an option. When you walk in the store you first wonder why the prices are so low; five hours later you find out why. The drinks I ordered tasted more like a two week old shit dissolved in sour orangutan milk. I turned dizzy when I began drinking the tea and the world started spinning around me. Maybe it was because I was so tired that day but I felt like I was going to faint. When I got home, I took a big nap. When I woke up I felt the urgent desire to take a shit, one that was uncontrollable. I ran to the toilet, expecting a shit, but getting instead a stream out of my ass. That night I came down with a fever and I partially blame the tea. read more

The store is in a terrible location, the front view is blocked off by a gate and a small housing unit, you can only see the store from the left or right. The decor is terrible. The place has bad lighting, kinda yellow and the walls are a drab color. The place is small and with two tables and stool seats. The kids behind the counter barely communicated properly. Sigh, but since in the area and not knowing location well enough to find a better after dinner desert, the craving hit for Bubble Tea when we saw it. I get a green tea with Boba and red beans in it small for $2.75. ---The green tea itself I can taste, nice flavor with just the right amount of ice to make it chilly. ---The balls themselves are an okay texture by my standards, meaning they aren't soggy, they have a little bit of chewiness to them, mixed in with the softened red beans, they are a good combo. ---I know it's only $2.75 but you only get a few sips of the beans and boba. It took me 6 small slurps to finish it. I was told the same when I commented how little you get: "the small is just enough to satisfy a craving". That is very true. ---They now include food as part of the menu option, at least at this location like Fried Squid, Fried Chicken Not exceptional but not bad either. read more

One of the older bubble tea chains in NYC. I have been here and also to the ones in the Manhattan Chinatown (which have closed down). I am not sure why they closed, as Quickly has decent bubble tea. They offer fruity flavored slushie drinks, juices, milk tea drinks, and non-milk tea drinks. They have a much larger selection of flavors than other places. I can never understand the guy who works behind the counter on weekdays. He speaks about 20% of English, and the rest is Chinese.
