I'd read a few reviews about Anda and decided to finally give it a try. We've passed by this place countless times, but I was looking for a chill spot where my kid could hang out with a few friends for his birthday--and this café fit the bill perfectly. They serve a mix of ramen, sushi, and snacks (yes, even fried Oreos and takoyaki!), plus milk teas and other drinks. The hangout was a success, and best of all, I didn't break the bank. The food is on the affordable end, so the ramen and sushi are about what you'd expect for the price--decent and satisfying, but not gourmet. They have a "Ramen Lovers" special on Tuesdays where all ramen is 50% off, so we tried both the tonkatsu and beef ramen. The broths tasted pretty similar (LOL), just with different toppings. The noodles were interesting--they used a thin rice noodle, more like what you'd find in stir-fried dishes than in typical ramen--but again, at half off, I couldn't complain. I only paid about $15 + tax for two full-sized ramen bowls, which is a steal. On regular days, you get a free medium drink when you order ramen at the regular price--a great deal, especially for students or anyone on a budget. Their large boba drinks come in a bucket-sized cup and are huge! Taste-wise, the milk teas are pretty standard and similar to other boba spots, but that giant container makes it stand out. Overall, Anda Café is a fun, budget-friendly place for casual hangouts or group get-togethers. Just keep your expectations realistic, enjoy the deals, and you'll have a great time here.
Was excited to get the bucket sized bubble tea here after seeing the pics. They have a stack of menus by the cashier so I took one to look and the menu options. I order 2 large (which is their bucket size) passion fruit grapefruit iced tea. The paper menu said $7.50 each. 1. The wait time was extremely long to get my 2 drinks. There was one girl behind the register and a guy standing next to her but he didn't do anything. She was the one taking orders and making the drinks while he just stood there as more orders got placed. 2. When I got home and checked the receipt, I saw I was charged a higher price instead of $7.50 each it was $8.25. If the prices changed then you need to update the menu prices. And since she saw me pick up the menu and then order she should have mentioned the prices are different if that's the case.
Great food, drinks, service and ambiance! Large menu of drinks and snacks. They also serve sushi and ramen and some fried snacks. Highly recommend!
We went to eat local at Anda Boba Tea on Ramen Lovers' Tuesday and the ramen was pretty good! We ordered the soy milk vegan, shrimp ramen, duchess rose tea refresher with boba and the cookies & cream taro smoothie with boba. The shichimi spice blend and soy sauce we tried with the ramen enhanced the flavor of the ramen. A nice cafe to hang out at especially for college students and anyone who is on a budget looking to try unique bubble teas and ramen. They also have cooked sushi which I tried many years ago. This bubble tea cafe still has the cute personified cat paintings displayed on the wall from many years ago. There was only one associate at the register when we got there, but he was tactful although very soft-spoken. Nice ambiance overall with Chinese calligraphy on the red banners, green plants and pop music emanating from the radio speakers. Will definitely be back! There are a lot to pick from when looking through what is presented on the menu.
I have been here before though I'm surprised I didn't write a review nor upload pictures. Last time I ordered my drink, I received my drink and had no issue. It was great. Yesterday, I went to order a drink. The store opened at 10AM and we were the second customer. We tried to order from the kiosk, only to find out you need a $10 minimum to use a credit card. Thai ice tea cost $8. We went to the cashier, who told us to wait one minute. Not a problem. He came back and we were placing our order for Thai ice tea. He was staring at the phone and calling, and didn't bother to ring up the order. Didn't talk to us and what was going on so we walked out of the store to go where we needed to go. While crossing the street, a woman asked us if we ordered. We didn't and we had to go. We figured out what happened. The person who made the drink didn't arrive and the employee didn't know how to tell us this. If the employee communicated that the person making the drink is nearby and will be here in a few minutes, we would have waited. However with no information or communication of what was happening by the employee, we didn't wait around since we told our group we were coming back and couldn't wait for the drink maker. This isn't normally how this store is. Hopefully next time, the experience will be similar to my previous time.
We came here after dinner and ordered 4 drinks (3 large and 1 medium) and it came out to $34. The space is really small but has a kiosk thats easy to navigate and customize your order. We ordered large sizes because of the fun novelty but it is expensive and a lot of milk tea. Flavors of the drinks were okay -- they weren't as flavorful as we anticipated, but the pearls were good. I never modify the sweetness on my drinks and full sweetness was not sweet (my cousins confirmed it was on par with the half sugar level drinks we ordered). There's definitely better boba places elsewhere but the novelty size was fun. The handle is pretty sturdy so you can carry it like a bucket.

And we love the sweet potato rolls as well. Definitely a great lowkey spot to have lunch or dinner if you're in the area. One of our favorite places.
Loved the place! The Coco Piña was amazing, super refreshing and full of flavor. However, my matcha wasn't mixed properly, which affected the taste quite a bit. I'd love to see better mixing next time to really enjoy it.
We came here for a mango pomelo after dinner across the street. The drink was so pretty but I wasn't a fan of the taste. I've had many mango pomelos from different bubble tea shops, but this one was overly bitter and the mango was sour. Fresh fruit is so nice but it has to be tasty too.
We are always satisfied with our drinks from here. My favorite is their Mango Pomelo with a lot of mango flavor plus small bits of grapefruit. Their jelly has a good bite to them. Large menu of drinks and prices are good. Tried their spicy salmon roll once but was bit dry. I really go here for their drinks anyway. Service is great, always at least 2-3 people working behind the counter. Clean white decor, ample tables and seating. With a restroom. Pay with cash, give cell number for their rewards system.
The popcorn chicken is my go-to every time I visit here. I ordered milk foam earl gray tea with less sugar: which may not have been the best choice for a bubble tea. I have tried their special drink items like mango pomelo which I enjoyed more. The ambiance is really nice: chill music and cool interior. Staff was friendly and service was fast.

But we chose this place due to the fact of their options. Also, there were places to sit or rather dine-in as the other ones don't have that option. They also have sushi, which I didn't try, but that was interesting that they had both. I did try their bubble tea. The cashier recommended a bunch of drinks and said what she liked, so I chose one of the milk teas. That wasn't a bad one. I also tasted my friends, and hers had peach inside. I liked that one as well. I would go back due to the friendliness and drink options at the place. If you go and pay cash, you can register for their point system. It is a dollar per point, and on your bday, you can get a free drink, too.
Update 5/2022: Recently renovated and re-opened! Gone are the bright pink walls and unique characters. I'm digging the more subdued decor. They revamped their menu, but still have have the giant quart sized drinks for a decent price (hooray!). Recently tried their snack combo with the popcorn chicken. Popcorn chicken was pretty crispy and went well with the provided sauce. Hopefully they can provide different seasoning/flavor options in the future (right now they only have regular or spicy). I don't think they use punch cards anymore, but you can accumulate points for rewards by providing your number and paying in cash. Recently tried their sushi party platter with a group of friends and it was well worth the price. I think it was 9-10 rolls (2 of which are cali rolls) for about $45 +tax. Definitely check out Anda if you haven't been back in a while! *service is still a bit slow so definitely call ahead if you're in a rush.

I was surprised to see a little bucket for the large instead of the more traditional tall cup. It was $8.99 for the Oolong milk tea and it was good amount for the price. The tea tasted great, balanced with the milk and is one of the better spots in Elmhurst. They were very busy so definitely try to order ahead to avoid waiting 10-15 minutes. It also seems like a nice hangout and chill spot with friends as they have ample seating. read more

I got a signature drink- one drink- small. It was $6 and change. It took extremely long to make this one drink. I was with a baby, waiting and waiting. We waited so long, I went to the bathroom and also changed her, and my drink was still not ready. I was getting ready to just leave! The drink was okay, it wasn't worth a 20 minute wait. Ambiance wise- it was okay, bright. I thought I was supposed to order in the screen, but after trying- it turns out you can only do so if you're ordering more than $10. Why? Weird. And another group got in front of me while doing this. There was no sign saying this was the rule. Anyway, I won't return. read more
The restaurant was nice and casual with quick service. The food came out in less than 10 minutes. Food was as expected for $13.50 the eel avocado had a nice taste with small bits of eel. The ramen was okay the pork was alittle on the drier side and the broth tasted slightly blander then others I have had before. I enjoyed the boba the most. It was a mango yakult this shop is more known for boba so I would definetly reccomend. read more

I've only had the bubble tea drinks from here but they're made well and are delicious. The large is a big bucket and can serve 2-3 people for less than $10! Staff is very nice too. Would highly recommend read more
This was a surprisingly expensive little tea place. Apparently the prices have gone way up since they've been open but this is almost expected. I got a white peach smoothie which was very sweet. The jelly I added on the bottom lacked flavor. Their mango passion fruit cake was a mix of very sweet and very sour tasting almost artificial. read more
A fairly average spot with a gimmicky marketing ploy, the fact that they used to be called panda Cafe, but dropped the p to be called Anda Cafe yet still retain the panda mascot just adds to the confusion as to what they're trying to do. Anyway tried bubble tea here several times and on the last occasion I was here I tried the sushi. None of the items really were a home run to me as I don't remeber a thing about any of the food items they served. I have always walked by this spot, but was finally able to try it the other day! This shop also offers a variety of food options like sushi, ramen, popcorn chicken, and other things to snack on in addition to their bubble tea. Definitely more of a no frills spot with fairly affordable prices compared to other boba spots in the area, but this review is for their bubble tea! I came to try their Cookies and Cream milk tea with pudding because I was feeling something other than bubbles that day, but it did not disappoint! I was looking forward to trying their large size, which is almost like a small bucket that even comes with a handle, and is definitely the biggest in comparison to a large size at other bubble tea places. This came out to $7.90, including one topping! As for the taste, it was a pretty solid milk tea flavor-- though it was a tad bit sweet for me, maybe because of the cookies in cream? Otherwise, I was happy with what I got for the size and price! Definitely looking forward to trying other flavors soon. read more
Anda is a Taiwanese cafe that specializes in bubble tea with snacks. We came during lunch time, which was a big mistake. The place was a mess. The whole time we were there, there were leftover plates of food from previous customers that were all over the tables, and not once did the staff members bother to take any of them away. A pile of dishes with half eaten food started to pile up in the corner as people were moving these plates there by themselves. As for the food, it was not bad, but inconsistent. Anda's most popular food is their crispy chicken. My friend had one order and I had a second one. For some reason, her chicken was super soft and soggy. My chicken on the other hand came later and was very crispy and very tasty. So, the first order must have been rushed. The sweet potato fries we had were also a little soft and soggy. My taro bubble tea was also off. You could taste the powder inside. It was obviously it was not mixed well. At least their prices are low. If you must come, avoid the lunchtime for a better chance of having the food cooked well. read more

What a lovely store! Surprised how affordable their boba is considering how the market price a cup of boba. The people there are very accommodating, just that it's a long wait considering only few of us ordered but it's worth the wait! I also came back after trying their regular milk tea and ordered the cookies and cream and didn't get disappointed. Must go to if you're in Elmhurst. read more

Had the Blue Raspberry Sparkling Lemonade Bubble Tea at the Queens Night Market. This was recommended when I asked for something sweet and it did not disappoint. Everyone was asking me what it was and it tasted like a blue sour candy. My favorite! read more

Surprising good place to have some bubble tea while studying or just goofying off. The constant flow of teenagers make me feel very dated. Nonetheless, the drinks are solid with a good amount of the flavor. The surprise has to be there the food offerings are very good. With specials offered throughout the years I highly recommend getting two speciality rolls ( buy 1, get one 50% off ) Very savory and full of flavor, one for you and one for your study buddy. read more

I came last night when they about to close and ran out of bubble but I still take it and wow!! its taste good so I come today again and buy 4 of them! The tea is good and strong flavor and the service is great. The store is clean and good atmosphere. Would recommended to friend read more
