This review was being made because of the bad experience from the 2 guys working here around 5pm today at 2/23: I happened to be in the area and decided to get Quickly. I had a drink at another location but didn't see it on the menu so I decided to ask. The two guys literally laughed like "why and how would we have that?" And the guy in the glasses turned around and started talking smack and they just kept going and laughing RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME IN CHINESE AS IF I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND. Already thrown off and not feeling comfortable I just decided to order. I got my card out to pay and the guy at the register taking my order scoffed and said you need to order more if you want to use your card; at least $10 min. I gave my 12 year old son bubble tea for the first time on his birthday. First I got him a milk tea with extra bubbles and it was sooo sweat I had to exchange it for a passion fruit tea. I told the man I got extra bubbles and he told the lady in His language to not give me extra bubbles. You can't miss this spot... There's a huge plastic bubble tea statue outside. The review is for their bubble tea only. They do serve some snacky things but we only had the bubble teas. I had the black sesame milk and my boyfriend had the match with red bean and boba. Both of these were delicious though I preferred the back sesame. Even tough they were milk teas, neither tea was very heavy. They were lightly sweetened and had just the right amount of bubbles. What's really cool about the place is that you can get extra bubbles or redbean for free. Our server was extremely friendly and very helpful when it came to picking out what we wanted this place had a ton of flavors so getting expert advice is key! The last time I saw such a buzz for bubble tea was in Chinatown's Ten Ren. The line at Quickly was equally as long. They have an extensive menu of all the different types of bubble tea from pudding and yogurt drinks to slushes and traditional milk tea. It's cheap too. Just $2.50 for a 16 oz. The bathrooms were broken and they were out of VIP cards. There are a few tables and the lights are bright orange and flaming even when there is an abundance of natural light flowing in. There was really a crowd at Quickly and a lot of people just spill on to the streets clutching their ice cold refreshing bubble teas. I really enjoyed my peach slush with tapioca. I even felt like I was in Asia. So why only three stars? It's just bubble tea and they forgot to give my friend his bubbles. I offered to go up to the counter to get him some balls and he said it was okay. Actually, he phrased it quite nicely. "Life's beauty is filled with imperfections." Their milk tea drinks are pretty good, though I like stopping by here to enjoy some slush, preferably the Mango or Lychee slush. Their drink selection is pretty wide and varied so be sure to have your order ready when approaching the register. Every cup is machine sealed and this makes it very convenient for a "to-go" order. They have a handful (about 6-8?) of high seatings with (2-3?) tables and a friendly, chill atmosphere great for just hanging out. Student and V.I.P. discounts are always a welcome. Recently, they've added food snacks in their menu. I tried their fried chicken strips thing with paprika, and to be honest they were bland and flavorless. I come to Quicklys a lot! This place always makes me happy most of the time! Two days ago, I came here around a busy time. the bubbles were a little hard, and the Strawberry bubble tea, wasn't mixed properly as Syrup was still sitting down. They were very busy however. Yesterday, however, this place was amazing, as always. The bubbles were soft! Just don't go here around 3pm, because high schoolers jam this place up, and there's only two employees there. I must negate one star from their overall business simply because they do not accept cash. I receive awesome stuff for using my card. The reason why I'd ever choose Quickly over another bubble tea place is simply because of their student discount. I mean, who doesn't love discount? Also, Their milk teas are never powdery and not too sweet. My go-to drink is Jasmine Milk Tea with Pudding. I'm a little over bubbles now, especially since they are usually a hit or miss. Sometimes the tapioca bubbles are overcooked, mushy, and super syrupy or they're still tough and undercooked. Rarely do I ever get perfect bubbles. Also, I just think pudding gives my Jasmine milk tea a cleaner taste. I also enjoy the snacks. The fries, squid balls, and fried chicken. I always get them super spicy. The salty spice goes great with bubble milk teas. Sometimes the staff can be very rude and careless. Also, there have been many times when I've come and there's no one in the front to be seen so I have to yell to get someone to take my order.
