I used Quick Solution for a termite inspection and it was well worth the money. Jerusalem came out to do the inspection and spent over an hour finding all of the hiding places where the termites had damaged the house. He also came out in the evening because this was my only time available. He asked before tearing off some of the dry wall, which is where he was sure said there was more termite damage. Sure enough after he tore a hole in the dry wall we could see the damage to the beams of the house. He didn't try to upsell me on any other services which I always worry about when dealing with pest control companies. I also liked how he was very knowledgeable and explained everything he was doing. they are our life saver. I was the only person getting bites in the house and there was no evidence of bed bugs where we could see. I called for an inspection to other company with a dog and the dog didn't give us anything. the same night, I found a bedbug on my baby's crib. I called Quick Solution after midnight, they came the next morning, July 4, at 7:30. they inspected our bed and found a few bedbugs. they treated the same day , came back for follow up treatment when we asked, and came back again to take apart and out our bed when we decided to throw out. More than week later, they came back again when I thought I got a bite, they didn't find anything but treated anyway. Sorry to write this but this looks like a scam. The whole family stopped by, then they came through the house (basement, first, second floor) and inspected everything just to find what I had showed them, also the basement was scanned and they found what I knew was there an infestation not sure how severe the answer might be to my review from them. Also I did offer to pay for the visit $125.00 but they only took $50, as I wanted to cut my loses. This might sound like honesty but believe me that this is some kind of scam, there are many REVIEWS and I don't know how they do it, but believe this from a normal honest money making individual. I ask that if they do this to you, that you write about it here because I was driven to call them by the positive reviews. This is the final quote after being told that it might be 600+ on the phone, just didn't know that "+" was 2K plus on top of the $600. $800 for first fl $800 for second fl $1,200 for basement $150 for MOVING the washer 1st fl $150 for MOVING the washer 2nd fl $450 for pest fumigation $300 for something else This is over way $3,500 How can I say yes to such a quote, I declined and they left. I hired QSPC due to mice after contractors left off a baseboard behind our newly installed kitchen cabinets. Someone answered the phone when I called and quickly set up an appt next day. They took the time so seal every little hole in our apt, thouroughly expained the plan of action (they had to set traps as some of them were more than lokely not able to escape back out where they came from). Bruno is a savior. I came home one evening to find mouse droppings in my daughters bedroom. Obviously nervous and paranoid I called Quick Best at 10pm and Bruno hearing my voice came over that evening and spent two hours looking at every crevice and opening etc. He placed traps all around(out of my childs and dogs reach!) The very next day I checked the traps and our mouse problem was eradicated. Bruno came back to check everything and SEAL all openings with a special solution. I saw a mouse in my apartment. Not my son's Mickey toy, but a spinning creepy ugly mouse. My husband caught TWO - we thought it was from an opening in our radiator that we had the super come fill immediately. Then, as I was throwing away my son's diaper, another scurried past the trash can. oh no no no no no. I can't feel unsafe in my home. I searched Yelp for pest control places. I sent a message to Jerusalem from Quick Solution and he sent me a response right away. I called the next day and it was so easy to book an inspection and course of treatment. They were able to do their work immediately after the inspection, which was the selling point for me. I got in contact with some other companies, and they wanted me to wait 4 days after the inspection. Ain't nobody got time for that! Jerusalem came over with 2 other guys for the inspection. They got a little lost so were a tad bit late and apologized. After the inspection, Jerusalem set up the paperwork and I made the payment. It was more than I expected, but read on, it was well worth it. Now I must take a moment here to write about the two WONDERFUL exterminators, MARVINS AND JENGINS (I hope I spelled their names right). Marvins is the main guy and Jengins is along to help and learn the ropes. These 2 GENTLEMEN spent almost the entire day with me, searching my house for every.single.hole they could find. They did not do a rush job. They pulled out my dishwasher, stove, opened up my radiators. Besides sealing holes with steel wool and foam he also put chicken wire in the tiny crevices near my kitchen cabinets. Marvins put some glue and snap traps around in case any mice were hiding they would be caught. They were so nice, professional, clean and sympathetic to my fears. They even cleaned up after themselves. They did not leave until they were sure I was satisfied with the work they did. They never once got annoyed with me and showed me what they were doing every step of the way. Tomorrow will be one week since they were here, and I have not seen another critter since. TL;DR - Jerusalem was attentive, flexible, courteous and damn good at his job. I highly recommend him. -- A month after moving into my new, top-floor apartment, I was greeted with the noises of squirrels in my ceiling. I called several places listed here on a Sunday evening not expecting a response, but Quick Solution got back to me an hour later to schedule an appointment for the next day. His practices were humane and clean, trapping the squirrels safely and taking them far away so they wouldn't return. It was a group of four and took multiple visits. Each time Jerusalem worked with our schedules to make things happen on our time and get the job done. In addition to trapping and removal, he sealed the entry point on the outside of our building to make sure no more could get back in. It was quite reassuring that if I called in the middle of the night somebody would be there to address whatever problem I had. He went through my entire house with a colleague including the basement and looked through every crack and crevasse and gave me a truthful assessment of my rodent and pest problem. This company really does offer a quick AND easy solution to all your pest-oriented problems. After getting on the phone with them, they sent someone over IMMEDIATELY in the MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT to do a full treatment! Wow! Removing all bugs + sealing all the cracks in my house + treating the place with eco-friendly pesticides so all remaining bugs die off. Upon leaving they told me they offer a 1-year warranty and to call them if anything went wrong... Sure enough, they made good on that promise, because some of the pests came back! Turns out, there was a problem area (very hard to reach) that wasn't sealed. They sent someone over right away, and with precision they sealed all the problem areas at no extra charge. I have no doubt in my mind that they would come back a third time if it were necessary. Wonderful company, I would gladly recommend them to you! I probably should have written this review a few months ago but I wanted to wait until I moved out and not jinx myself. Prior to this guy and his daughter showing up to exterminate my home, I had a serious problem and was in a bit of denial. The first time I saw a mouse run by in my house I remember thinking to myself that that was the biggest roach I have ever seen. However I can honestly say that seeing a mouse of your kitchen counter will change your life forever. When I finally acknowledged this issue, I set up traps, sprayed chemicals, and plugged holes. None of these worked as the mice would eat the food off the traps and seem to find other way of getting into my apartment. I would also see roaches quite a bit as well. I had a serious problem! I couldn't leave dishes or food out for more than 5 minutes. I was paranoid to go to the bathroom at night. I finally got to the point where I wouldn't go a night without seeing a mouse and a roach tagging along on weekends. I called quick solution and ultimately chose them as they were able to come out on the same day. They came and did an assessment and also agreed I had a serious problem. It was very pricey but the benefit of sleeping in peace heavily outweighed the cost. In fact, I remember thinking that although I was spending a lot money, based on the time it took and work being done, it looked like the service was worth it. They also give you a one year warranty if any of those nasty critters ever come back. I think that with in mind, it does them an injustice to not do the best job they can. It shows me how much they really believe in their work. Now fast forward to 7 months later and I have only seen one roach which I blame myself for as I left dishes out for 2 or 3 days. But I never saw another mouse and was finally able to sleep in peace. He left me numerous mouse traps which thankfully never caught anything. I am glad that I never had to utilize the warranty. It had gotten quite out of hand, however he came on several occasions and worked throughly until the issue was reduced significantly. I hate to say it, but I think these guys are in the business of giving non refundable estimates, not providing services. When I spoke to Jerusalem on the phone I gave him a detailed description of the house and the rooms and etc. He estimated the treatment for mice to be around 600.00. After they inspected the house, I was very surprised to hear that the actual cost of treatment would be well over 3000.00! I had no choice but to pay them the 125.00 for the on-site estimate, but they had no good answers for why the treatment would be over 5 times the initial over the phone estimate amount. Since then I've had another estimate, and will be having the treatment done for 600.00 by another pest control service. Needless to say, proceed with caution! read more

wish there were 10 stars to give because they deserve it.. so one night i'm breastfeeding and there i see a mouse/rat run across the room...after screaming like a banshee, i started yelping for exterminators...i found quick solutions and they came out same day..I must say the price after assessment was more than i liked but the time and efficiency they took to ensure there would be no rodents was awesome...eight months later, have not seen anything and I LOVE IT, feels good knowing my children are not around any bugs or rodents... I'm a little late reviewing, but I am really thankful for these guys. Last year we had a family of mice living in my apartment, and when I called they came right away to assess the situation and they so thoroughly sealed every crack and hole in my apartment! In the next month or so we caught the couple of stragglers that were still running around trapped inside of the house (they had warned me this would happen) and each time someone came to get dispose of the dead mice for us. I am very afraid of rodents, so this was such a helpful service and great peace of mind. The price was a little steep (my landlord didn't want to reimburse me for the expense of taking care of his apartment because he thought it was above what the cost should be) but I think it was really worth the cost! They did a lot of work sealing our entire apartment and being willing to come whenever we called! Flash forward to this year and we found mice droppings in our kitchen again, and I found a mouse in one of the traps behind my dresser. I called them, and they came that night and inspected the entire apartment top to bottom! He said that it seemed like a couple had slipped in, but that it didn't seem like there were new holes or another infestation and if I saw anything again to call him and they'd come out right away. He didn't even charge me for the inspection, and he removed what he found. It's great to have someone who will come so quickly when needed, especially as having vermin can be so stressful. There's nothing more stressful than knowing there's a dead rodent in the house. The smell was enough to break us! Jerusalem and his team came the same day I called them (and were willing to accommodate us at 9:30pm). The main issue surrounding the removal was that the little dead critter was hanging out a vent in the extremely high ceiling above our staircase. There was no way anyone was getting up there without a specialized ladder. The first two local BK exterminators I called wouldn't even have a conversation about a job requiring a special ladder. Even for Terminix, a ladder was a non-starter. Quick Solution J (the J being Jerusalem) was not phased. He came, he saw, he had a ladder, he got rid of the mouse. BRUNO AND JERUSALEM ARE LIFE SAVERS!! This company is TOTALLY AMAZING. I have dealt with sketchy exterminators before... They come once, charge you $500 and leave, and then you still have a problem and they want nothing to do with it. But these guys are legit!!! I live in Bushwick on Cedar Street and we realized we had rats when a small cat-sized rat CRAWLED OVER MY ROOMMATES IN BED. We were frantic, and terrified, and they came the same day we called. I dealt with Bruno on the phone and Jerusalem in person. Bruno was super kind and actually cared about my rat infestation. He literally said the words, "I understand that your home is your sanctuary and I will do whatever I can in my power to rid you from your infestation". And they meant it. The initial visit was the same day the phone call was made, and Jerusalem and another man (maybe it was Bruno? I was at work while this happened) and they covered many holes with chicken wire and some foam, as well as put poison in the walls. We paid the fee, which ended up being just under $500.00, but we felt good about the exterminators' visit. The next night the rat came again and ate through an avocado on my kitchen counter. Jerusalem came again, set traps, searched even more, and covered more holes and did more investigating. NO CHARGE. 2 nights later, there was more rodent activity! Jerusalem came for a third time, NO CHARGE, and then came up with the idea to search the basement and other points of possible entry. In the boiler room we found a MASSIVE infestation, where Jerusalem even saw live rats IN THE ROOM with us. Thousands of droppings, poor construction, and many points of entry. Jerusalem was very patient with us throughout this entire process, and I'm sure that was probably hard because we were absolutely terrified. He came up with an estimate that we could give to the landlord right there, and was on his way. I HIGHLY recommend these guys, and I would ABSOLUTELY use them again (hopefully I don't have to) if I ever had a rodent/pest problem. read more

I am so impressed by this company it's not even funny. I called them at almost midnight a few nights ago when I noticed that it was just one mouse in my apartment but an infestation. The owner told me he would be thee the following day to take a look and give an estimate. He was very thorough in his search for where they were coming in and I think he definitely went above band beyond. He put my mind at ease and told me if I have any other problems not to hesitate to call. They were super nice and their customer service was incredible. The minute they arrived we should have walked away. 3 individuals dressed like kids from the street arriving in a casual car with mediocore flash lights, were we being pranked? showed them around the house (3floors including basement) and they did exactly what we did which was look around with flashlights not even througly and barely spoke a word to us the whole 20 mins. As a hard working individual I can tell you it doesn't take $125 to do the work I could have paid someone $5 off the street to do to tell me we have an infection. And if your charging $125 for nothing the least you can do is have some professionalism and come dressed in a uniform in a company car and actually talk your clients through what you are seeing or what work has to be done. This leads me to believe these reviews are nothing but FAKE. If it wasn't for me not being a confrontational person I would have argued that $125 because we were honestly robbed. read more

these guys came out on a saturday night to remove a racoon stuck between two gates in the back of our home. Turns out the racoon was actually a cat. They showed sympathy for the animal and remained with me while we all decided what was the best thing to do for the injured cat. We found the next door neighbor who took the cat and helped it recover. They seemed busy but upon examining the sensitive situation they decided to take extra time which I appreciated. read more

Someone, who shall remain nameless, refused to call the landlord about our mouse problem. I told her that mice carry lots of unwanted things. The aforementioned mice eventually managed to bring fleas. Naturally, the flea problem was isolated to the rear of the apartment (my room). As Sweet Brown would say, "Ain't nobody got time fo' dat!" I contacted Quick Solution and they set up an appointment for later that day. Bruno did a thorough inspection of my apartment and determined the best solution. I was concerned because the fleas came so suddenly but I hadn't been able to get any sleep, so I needed the treatment done. I explained the situation and they were able to help me set up a way to pay that would be a little less stressful, which was a godsend considering the current situation. Bruno came back later with his team and they immediately went to work assessing the apartment and performing the treatment. They were all friendly, very respectful of my belongings, and patient with my lack of pest knowledge. They took their time and were even nice enough to help me drop my massive bags of laundry off afterward. If you know about the life cycle of fleas, you'd know that they come in waves due to offspring hatching later and such. So the apartment was generally flea-free, but there were a few rogue fleas that had emerged later. I let Bruno know and he sent someone that same day, to quickly re-treat the apartment. They did this free of charge, so I think they really value making sure the job is done. Since then, my place has been free of fleas and I've gotten some great sleep. These guys know what they're doing and have the results to prove it. If (and I really hope not, but this is Brooklyn and I live in a crappy pre-war tenement) I have another pest problem, I will not hesitate to contact Quick Solution. You know, I wouldn't usually write about a service: cleaning, plumbing, etc. but these guys were so terrific. In the middle of the night I went down to the basement of my building and there were maybe 1000 big black flies! Ugh, it was horrible! Now, I had just been down there earlier in the day so this was some bizarre spawning of some kind. I was so freaked out, I called the first number I saw. These guys are not only totally efficient and effective, but they're easy to deal with and very calm. Their prices are fair and even though they couldn't come immediately, they answered the phone right away and asked all the pertinent questions. I felt relieved. About a two months ago, I started looking for a good pest control business in the bklyn area and stumbled across this business solely because of the reviews here on Yelp. I first contacted these guys for waterbug problem that I never encountered before but may have come about because of Hurricane Sandy. Bruno was quick to respond and was very professional and friendly...He checked all the rooms on both floors, laundry room, under the kitchen cabinets, closets, and sealed any cracks he saw. He spent about four hours and also took the time to vaccum any mess that was left under the cabinets. However, I never thought I would need to contact them again this time for bed bugs in an old mattress in our master bedroom!! As usual these guys were quick to respond and very thorough!! I had a great experience with Quick Solutions J Exterminating Pest Control! I am very opposed to rodents never had an issue with pests/rodents in my apartment of 2 years (then) until this time, so when I saw the rat in my kitchen, I freaked out. I called my super and my building management had me wait over 8 hours before they called me back to schedule someone to come out. Their sub par extermination company came to address the rodent problem I was experiencing and the person they sent to my home did not know what he was doing. He casually sprayed in a few areas, barely looked for holes of entry/exit, put down sticky traps in my kitchen and basically told me that my house was "too clean" to have a rodent problem. ??!! I left later that day and came home to find that 1 of the sticky traps moved from my kitchen to the hallway, so obviously the rat returned, and was able to get off the sticky trap and get away. I immediately contacted Quick Solution J Exterminating and not only was the service professional, their preliminary questions to better assess the situation were thorough and they scheduled an appointment with me the next morning. Upon arrival, the exterminator was courteous, respectful of my home and carefully checked ever closet, wall, cupboard, pipe and window to determine the possible location(s) of entry and showed me exactly where the rat could enter. He made sure I was not inconvenienced in my day by doing all the moving of furniture as he worked and was careful to put everything back in its place neatly. He set traps everywhere necessary and even agreed to come back to pick up any rodent caught in the trap for the next 3 months. Though the price was a bit high for me, it was still not unreasonable for the peace of mind knowing that my home was rodent free.
