As like many of you, I used Yelp to assist me in finding a moving company to move our household goods to our new house. I was looking for a company that would be able to move us on short notice and one with great reviews. Quick N Quality Movers seemed to fit the bill. I chose this company based on all the positive reviews that they had received and was willing to pay extra for better service. (Quick N Quality are one of the more expensive movers but you can't put a price on great, right?). Wrong! I was satisfied with the ability to set up a move day on very short notice and with fast service they provided on the day we moved. They ended up having to make two trips to be able to move our belongings. However, even after the second trip, there were items that were not going to be able to fit in the last load. Unfortunately, it was left up to me to figure out how I was going to move the last of items because I was told that they would not be making a 3rd trip. I thought, I was paying for them to move ALL of my belongings not most of them. However, this isn't the part I am having a BIG issue with. There was some damage that occurred to some of our belongings during the move, including a TV, couch and chest of drawers. Things happen, I get it. Michael arranged to have Ryan come and look at the damaged items and come up with a solution to repair them. A week and a half after Ryan came out, I called back to see what was going to happen. Michael gave me the option of sending my items to their vendors to have them repaired (which he told me was going to take a long time) or a cash settlement. We chose the cash settlement. It has been over 3 months since the move and no cash settlement has arrived. We have made SEVERAL phone calls, and both Michael and Ryan have apologized, multiple times for the inconvenience and informed us that they would drop the check in the mail that day. Still, no check. NOTHING! It would be an understatement to say that we feel like we have been taken advantage of and received very poor customer service from Quick N Quality Movers. I would not recommend using this company unless you feel very certain that none of your things will possibly get damaged. But let's face it, accidents happen. That is why the company keeps insurance. read more

Where there's a will, there's a way. They make the hardest moving jobs work out! Whether it's a ton of stairs, a ton of bins, huge and heavy furniture...they have such an easy going positive and friendly attitude you won't regret hiring them to do the job! They are also very handy. They even helped take out the ac from the window and took apart my bed frame and reassembled it at my new place because I couldn't do it myself. Mike and his team moved our place from town to waimanalo earlier this year. They were on time, very careful with our things and even kept our stuff dry as they moved in the rain. My husband and I used this company to move from an apartment in Honolulu to a house in Hawaii Kai. Three movers came, including Mike, whom I believe is the owner. They quickly and efficiently emptied out the apartment and loaded it all in the truck with no problems. The house had just had the carpets cleaned and they took off their shoes and put them on every time they went in and out of the house. I really appreciated their excellent service. I was very happy with the service they provided. I needed to move a number of large items from storage to the townhouse I had purchased. There was a slight mix up on the scheduled date, but I called and Chris responded immediately, apologized for the confusion and scheduled a pickup within the hour. The two movers, Adam and Kamana, were cheerful, careful, and efficient. Mike and his crew did a great job with our move. Our move was from Ewa Beach to Waikele with another stop at a storage facility in Pearl City. Had many high-end designer items, including piano and expensive antiques moved by company on the same day I called. I was very happy that the two guys that came out asap and seemed genuinely happy to help and thankful for the work. They were thankfully, not of "sketchy" typical moving guy character that you get accustomed to seeing, especially in bigger cities. They went straight to work right away and didn't spend any time dilly-dallying and were cautious of our home and belongings. Exactly what I was wishing for in a moving company and wasn't expecting! The crew was really friendly and they showed up on time. The thing I liked was the quality. They carefully moved my stuff from my place to the storage unit carefully. The thing that I really did not appreciate was they do not have the integrity to move quickly when not being watched. I caught them multiple times just relaxing and not moving at all. I hired 3 people for $175/hour. One person stayed in my place wrapping/packing my stuff the other two would do the loading. Making it impossible for me to watch both activities at the same time. But I went back and forth between the truck and my place. I realized they were taking too long. When I went down to check those two guys loading, I caught them just sitting down and looking at their cellphones. Or sitting in front of the truck listening to music and the funny thing is when they saw me coming they immediately started moving. It happened twice. Now the guy that stayed behind my place that was suppose to be packing, I went back to my place and he's reading my books and playing around with my kids toys. These crew will move quickly and with quality but you have to watch them the whole time or else they'd take their time to make more money out of you. I was almost impressed with the reviews. Maybe not all of their employees are the same but I wasn't happy with the ones that moved my household goods. Michael and his crew was excellent. They unloaded my 2 containers and move us in the towers. They are on time, and they called ahead to let you know that they are headed your way. Their rates are reasonable and they get the job done fast and well. I am very pleased. I coordinate corporate moves for a living and I can say they know how to move items. I have seen so many movers that has no idea how to move big things. I also hired them to do another move for me a few days later. They are wonderful. They do not play around, stand around and chat. They do good work. I've used them for a number of office, building and school site relocations from Wai'anae to Windward, largely because they're easy to schedule with and are accommodating. They've always been able to generate quotes quickly and been responsive to requests for changes. They've even scheduled moves as close as 2 days out. The movers are always professional and careful with all our items and furniture. I've used them twice now. Both times I've been very satisfied. I like to buy furniture on Craigslist so I need help getting my purchases delivered. My house has steps and some other complications with the entry way, but both times things were delivered in excellent condition. read more

My daughter and I moved from large 3 bed rooms to a house and we had lots of things. Nigel and 4 guys came at 8:30 sharp as he promised and they got on business right away. I run out of box the night before, so I packed as they howl, they they caught up with me, They packed left over stuff carefully to the shelves and boxes, wrapped up carefully and moved almost everything. They were very careful and gentle, never broke anything. ( my daughter broke few things. ) I was able to finish moving in one day and able to check out from condominium next day . I had to move 3 years ago from the house to the condominium and used other movers. They were only able to move 1/2 the materials in longer time and charged much more as well. Michael's team of movers are extremely professional, on time, and knows how to move furniture. We used them to unload 2containers from mainland full of boxes and furniture and moved into a high rise building. They don't stand around waiting for instructions or talking to one another. They make sure the job is done right and quick just like their name, Quick & quality movers. I am a designer and they took great care of my furniture. Not professional.. my friends could have done a better job & NOT ruin my furniture, microwave oven, beds etc. Nothing was wrapped to prevent them from being soiled. They couldn't figure out how to get my couch into elevator, tho I told them repeatedly..finally they listened. They were not careful w/my things. I am discovering more damages as I set up in my new place. I gave a star for having last minute appt. & the guys were nice, ( but movers they are not). Overall, we were very pleased with quality of service, and most important, the value received. We found the two movers - Ryan, the manager and his assistant, Nigel- to be friendly, courteous and very responsive and respectful of our needs. We received quotes from several of the big players, the so-called door to door movers, and Quick and Quality came in so much lower we were worried about the quality we might receive. Not only did we save a ton on the Oahu portion of the move, but Quick and Quality set us up with Maui Movers and handled the shipping with Young Brothers all for the same low quote. We did nothing once our goods left our door until we received it on Maui. They did not charge for travel or for storage, unlike the Big Boys. Highly recommended. Five stars. read more

It could have been a FIVE STAR rating but I have to take one back because I was initially quoted a 6 hour move which became a 10 hour move when they saw my household. Sometimes it is better to see the house before quoting a customer or should I suggest a checklist online that the customer checks off so you would know exactly how much stuff there is to move. Other than that, Mike and his Crew did a fabulous job!!! I didn't expect their job to be 5 Stars due to the fact that they are just a small company but they are comparable if not better than the other larger moving companies I had over the past two decades. They were professional and courteous. Priced reasonably and didn't know that there is a voucher on yelp that I could have used but that's OK. For the outstanding job that these guys did, I am satisfied. They came in quick and finished the job promptly. I definitely RECOMMEND these guys for your next move. Mahalo. read more
