We used Quick and Quality movers in early April 2014. Because of our travel schedule, I had to find a mover that wasn't going to gouge us, move us out of our house, into our new digs, and send some things to storage.....all within one week! Mike Gomes and his team made sure we didn't add years onto our life with the stress of the move! . I have done many moves over this last 30 years, and always had my brother do our moves, who owns his own moving company on the mainland, and has trained me to know what an excellent mover should be like. Quick and Quality Movers demonstrated that excellence I was looking for. Mike's demeanor is no nonsense, calming, confident, and he knows the moving business. His pricing was excellent, definitely well (at least 1/3 or more) under two other companies I had quote. Mike went above and beyond the call of duty. I had so much big and small junk that I had to get rid of, and he took care of all of it. He ensured that anything donatable went to the charities, and the rest of the junk went to the dumpyard. To not have to call a separate company and separate that all out was just fantastic. He also came back a few days after our move and collected all the flattened boxes and even more junk that we needed to get rid of....at no extra cost. I forgot to mention that he ensured he gave us a quote right away, and made an extra trip to drop off some boxes so we could pack some of our personal items. Tried repeatedly to contact them regarding an upcoming move in 3 weeks with no response. We called the number several times over the course of a week at different times in the day, the answering machine picked up each time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND AND VERY PROFESSIONAL!! I was originally going to go with Express Movers but after dealing with the rude owner, I was recommended to Quick N Quality. They call you when they are on the way so you know what time to expect them at. Then they only start charging you hourly when they get there, not like other companies that charge when they originally leave to your location. They sent 2 guys who they felt was enough to move my items. They were very professional gentlemen that brought their own packing items and equipment, packaged everything well and loaded it on their truck very organized and safe. They also wrapped all my furniture as to keep it clean, safe from damage and/or drawers opening. Once they arrived at the delivery location, they went right to business in unloading everything and placing them exactly where we wanted to. As quick as they arrived, they left. Since you are charged by the hour, I appreciated that they didn't take their time and were strictly business but still friendly and personable. Hands down the Best Movers ever!! (03/24/2014) Only had a week to schedule this prior to the move and Michael Gomes quickly made accommodations and scheduled us right in. It' been a few years since moving and dreaded the experience and hassle. Well to be blunt and honest QnQ Movers blew us away. Prompt, very professional and so courteous. Hassle free. Made us feel so comfortable we want to move again! (not really... but if we ever do we will definitely choose QnQ Movers for sure.) On the day of the move, their crew chief Gordon called to let us know they were leaving their lot and might be delayed due to morning traffic. So nice of them. In fact they showed up earlier than the scheduled time and wasted no time in getting to work. We estimated a 4-5 hour job and they loaded all our stuff and were ready to head off to the new digs in about an hours time. No breaks or rests... WOW!! amazing! The crew, "Gordon, Kona and Nigel" worked so smooth and helped wrap up a few open boxes too. The name says it all. Quick and Quality Movers! At the new place with the help of an elevator they were done in no time!! Wow.. A wonderful experience to hire these guys and don't know if their boss knows.. but.. they are all hard workers. I had originally requested a quote for a week day move, and when I found out I was being moved sooner than expected they were able to accommodate me with a weekend move at the same quoted price. I shopped around and their rates are not only great, but you get more for your money with this company. They didn't charge extra for disassembling or reassembling my large items, and didn't start their charge clock until they were at my door. I was moved today from Wiekele to downtown Honolulu. As discussed and arranged, the guys were prompt on time, with a courtesy call informing they were on their way. Two courteous professional gentlemen that took care of business and very respectful. Niegel, and Ronson were never out of sync. Ryan even showed up to pick up the truck temporarily since we were all unloaded, while the guys continued on with the move. The relationship between all of them was obviously strong and appreciated watching them perform. A true family environment... as new home owners my boyfriend and i didn't want to hassle with moving ourselves, from renting a uhaul, backaches and finding friends to help. i did my research and decided to go with this place due to the awesome reviews. called after hours and to my surprise michael answered. he explained the process and quoted me over the phone mentioning their $40 off special (better than yelp offer) even though my moving date will be after their special. update: ended up deciding to give the business to someone our contractor recommended. in any case i called and was able to cancel my appointment without any difficulties. =) read more

Good service but slower than I expected. I had a lot of my stuff already packed up, they just had to pack my kitchen (which was ready and all out on the counter to grab) and a few random items. Other than that everything was ready to be taken downstairs. It took 4 1/2 hours for a one bedroom apartment which was very surprising. The guys did great though and were very professional. I have a garment manufacturing company, so moving industrial sewing machines and huge cutting tables is no joke. I called the day before and was able to get a booking easily. We hired this company to come move our furniture for a local move after having talked to 5 other companies on the island. They were by far, the best with communication and call backs, could move us when we needed it done and offered rates and specials that we could afford. They also had the best reviews online by far! When the 3 man team got to the house, they were very friendly, professional and cautious with the furniture. You could tell that even though they looked younger, they had moved furniture a million times before. They didn't waste their time or mine and when other companies quoted us 7 hours, they had it done in less than 4 with no shortcuts. I would recommend these guys to all of my friends. Thought of dropping a line or two for Mike and his crew. Could have been a 5 Star review if he didn't miscalculate the amount of household goods that I have. I believe that a in person inspection of the house is a must in order to prevent miscalculations on quotes. Other than that, Mike and his crew did a fabulous job. Can't really complain on anything. Fast and Furious as they go do their thing with a touch of island music in the background from their boom box. Would've been nice if there was somebody on a ukulele while they are on the move.
