Well.. never ever ever is it fun to get blood drawn. And this place is no exception. It was a little hard to find, up on the second floor, and was sorta randomly placed. I walked in, and I didn't have an appointment, but my doctor had faxed in the tests I needed the day before. After telling them my name.. it took them over 5 minutes to find the fax, telling me multiple times that they did not have it. Eventually they found it in the fax machine (shocker!) and after probably 15 or 20 minutes they were ready to draw my blood. The lady working with me was nice enough, she didn't speak very much english but that is okay, I didn't mind. I asked to lay down because I have passed out giving blood in the past. She was nice, not as patient as some people I have worked with before. I laid down and tried to have a conversation with her to distract me. She didn't really want to talk. After a few minutes of pain she let me know that the blood wasn't coming out. So we had to do the other arm. By this point i was stressed out.. and she acted like she didn't know what she was doing. She kept saying "it won't come" and that just freaked me out. Normally they should be calm or at least try to keep you calm, but that didn't happen. After it was finally over I was very lightheaded and shaky, but glad it was over. She apologized a few times, saying she was sorry she made me cry (maybe I am a big baby... oh well hahah). Overall, I wasn't really impressed with this place. It did the job, but I wasn't happy with the service or the facility. It was slightly older, decently clean, but not the nicest place I have been. read more

I went to Quest Diagnositcs in the Del Prado Blvd, Cape Coral office this morning for the first time. I easily made an online appointment, and received communications of confirmation, check in information and reminders. I was greeted immediately by an employee who was very pleasant and checked me in for my appointment. I was very impressed with the appearance of the office. It is very modern and was immaculately clean. There was a large screen TV which showed your place in the que, as well as sharing information related to the lab and services. My appointment was for 9am. If you have an online appointment, anyone who walks in without one, is told the online appointments will be honored first. I was called back at 9:04am. The individual rooms were also very clean and tidy. The technician was professional and skilled. I was out the door in approximately 15 minutes total. I would not hesitate to return or recommend the lab. The only 2 things to note: the technician needed to pull her face mask up over her nose. Also, there was no hand soap or dispenser in the restroom, though it was very clean. read more

I needed to get some blood work done right away, Came in as a walk in during the morning. Staff warned me that it was about a 1.5 hr wait, which I was fine with since I didnt have an appointment, they were also under staff that day. The staff was very easy going, and treated every patient with care. Sometimes they had to repeat themselves, but they didnt get annoyed. Which was great for the older patients, or ones who didnt speak english. My veins are extremely hard to find, but Nick was able to get it on the first shot. (thank god!) They do get super busy, so I would make an appointment. read more

Easy to make an appt online; fairly punctual on appt time; they explained to walk-in patients that I had an appt and will be served first; every draw has been quick and easy. Oscar was friendly, professional, helpful - let me lie down btwn hourly draws when I had 2 and 3-hr glucose tests and felt nauseated! Alan was also friendly and efficient. They made it a fairly painless 3 hrs all things considered!!! Parking and entrance in the back... once you know where the suite it, it's pretty convenient! read more

I scheduled a blood test thru Health Labs on 3/10/21 and paid the $29 fee and was told that the facility located at Frost St. in San Diego is available for me to do the test. When I got there this morning after getting up early and driving to the location I was told that Quest Diagnostic has permanently closed the location. What? Why was Health Labs not updated about this permanent closure so they don't sent patients to this facility. I have to pay parking fees and felt very aggravated by this inefficient operation by Quest Diagnostics and need to have an answer from the Business Manager of this failed operation. Whoever is responsible for updating Quest Diagnostics closed operation is not doing his job. I hope the CEO of this company is aware of what is going on in this company and need to look into this. How many patients have Health Labs scheduled to go the Frost St. facility and found out it was permanently closed? read more

Totally utterly suck. Even if you schedule an appointment I typically wait an hour. Customer service is non existent. I actually downloaded yelp just so I could encourage you to ask your health care provider to recommend another test facility. You could die of old age and waiting for your appointment before you get in. The lab techs want nothing to do with help anyone. read more

This place is wonderful. I have had so many bad experience elsewhere. They were fast, polite and listened when I asked them to take there time before sticking me because my veins are small. read more

Me and blood work do not mix! It makes me nervous. So, I wanted to make sure I went to a place with great quality of service. The staff was friendly, funny, and proffessional. Overall, I had an excellent experience. I would not mind coming back (if I had to). Thanks to the other Yelp reviewers for helping me choose this place. read more

I am glad there's Yelp to help me read some insights from people. I made an appointment here because of the reviews. They were quick and prompt on getting me in prior to work. I also am afraid of needles so when I asked for them for me to lie down on the bed, they made that accommodation for me. The lady who did it was fast and efficient. She didn't say much but had a calm demeanor. I defiantly am going to this place for now on. read more

Staff at labs is fine and professional.Problem is there notification system and customer service which is non existant. Was ntfd results were ready and on myquest . Results nowhere to be found. When you try and contact there is no phone # to speak to live person . Everything is a prompt and recording until it disconnects you. if you try and message on line you wait very long time and get no where. Very quick to demand payment. In this situation had to pay in advance then Quest failed to deliver results as promised and as notified. Will not be using again. If other lab available recommend you to go there instead read more

I would like to thank YVETTE for making my visit for blood work QUICK & PAIN FREE! Let me start off by saying that my veins are very difficult to find. Past visits for blood work have been extremely annoying and painful since I end up getting poked several times before they find a vein. YVETTE was AMAZING. She was extremely polite & was able to find my vein with no problem. I must say she made it a very pleasant visit. I give YVETTE at Quest Diagnostics 2 THUMBS UP!!! read more

I came for my weekly blood draw. I have tried 3 different locations in the city of orange. Parking is easy and the location is clean. The lab techs are friendly. I came in for an afternoon appointment and there was only one other person waiting ahead of me. I was seen quickly and got on with my day. I'm not sure if it's as efficient in the mornings, but I'll def check out this Quest for future visits. read more

Best Lab Ever. This will be the only location I would go to for my little toddler blood test. Not only they checked us in within 10 minutes the technician is very skillful. She only tried once and found the vein right away. My little one stopped crying right away after she pulled out the needle. He is only 2 yr old so most other lab technicians tried at least four needles to find his vein which made my heart ache a lot to see him crying for 1 hour. read more

I went there to collect blood and breath test as my doctor requested. Initially I asked the guy in the front desk how much it will be. He just asked if I had health insurance. I said yes, and he just asked for my is card, without telling me the price. The return me the card and said the insurance would cover the exams. 1 month later I got a letter from Quest charging $115.45 for the exams!!! They never told me I have to pay for the exams. I think I have to know the price before have the service. Never will be back to this place. Stay away! read more

I would Never use Quest Diagnostics again after my recent experience in their office in Lake Success in November. My doctor ordered a three hour glucose tolerance test for me which i took on November 24, 2021. He had not received the results by Tuesday, November 30 so he called there office and was told that i had NOT completed the test so they only had 4 results. I assured him that I had stayed and finished the test even though I felt ill just before the final blood drawing. We assumed there was a misunderstanding and my doctor called again. He was told a second time that they had only four results and I had NOT completed the test. I do not know who was responsible but I do know that my doctor was NOT told the truth. I can understand that accidents occur and people make mistakes. I cannot understand LYING which can be life threatening in a health related business. Quest cannot be trusted to provide honest accurate results. DON'T USE THEM!!! read more

I've had horrible experiences having my blood drawn to the point where I dread it. I've passed out, been painfully poked numerous times to find a vein with little success, and have had the blood flow stop in the middle of a draw. I went to this lab due to the positive Yelp reviews. They did not disappoint. What a great experience! The staff was very friendly and the room was immaculate. The tech immediately found a vein and I barely, and I mean barely, felt the needle. No problem drawing 3 tubes worth. Had an appointment and was in and out in 10 minutes. I will definitely be going to this location from now on. read more

Thanks to Erlinda (not sure of the spelling) for making the process hassle free. I've been here twice both with the same lady. Make an appointment online and you'll be in and out quickly. I'm used to people having difficulty finding my veins which usually results in me getting poked in both arms. At this location I'm accommodated to lay on a bed, get one poke and done! read more

Brenda is RUDE and no respect for the elderly. She doesn't listen. I had the pleasure of experiencing the worst, unimaginable, and unthinkable customer service at Quest Diagnostics. My minor child had a scheduled appointment on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at 12:15 PM. Granted, I'll admit showing up to the wrong facility at 4510 Medical Center Dr, located in McKinney. This particular location is closed on the weekends and soon as I realized the error. I hurried to the correct location at 730 West exchange Quest Diagnostics, located inside Walmart in Allen. I arrived and signed in at 12:26. The phlebotomist eventually came and called my child's name. Please keep in mind that my child has been fasting overnight. She stated that "I "don't have an appointment. I assured the phlebotomist that I do in fact have an appointment and offered to show her the confirmation. She continued to say that I don't have an appointment. I asked her if she will wait on us and simply told us no. I told her that I was going to contact a supervisor. She confidently stated; go ahead. I'm already on the phone with her, (Holly). I called the supervisor, Corrine who told me that I don't have an appointment and this is an appointment only service location. There were ONLY two other people serviced after my arrival. The time is now 1:08 and Corrie told me that they will not service me and will call me back. Moments later the Allen Police Department arrived and a officer approached me and stated that he is not going to escort me out and understands there is an issue. The officer wasn't quite sure why the company wouldn't service me and ask if there is another lab that I could visit because obviously there's an issue here. I explained the situation, he empathize and observed that I had three minor children under the age of 18 and didn't want them to feel uncomfortable with him being there and placed stickers on their shirts, apologize and we all exited the facility. The phlebotomist and her supervisor would rather prove a point instead of showing an act of kindness to a family that just came to get routine bloodwork and mind you her minor child has been fasting since midnight and it's now 1 o'clock in the afternoon. I did tell the police officer that I find it challenging because I am in the healthcare industry and I go out of my way to help others not for any accolades or pats on the back. However, wholeheartedly because I genuinely care about people and I understand that life happens. I admit arriving 11 minutes late. In conclusion, Quest Diagnostics staff was rude and unaccommodating. It's truly sad I will NEVER visit Quest Diagnostics again. read more

Unacceptable! I've always had a great experience at Quest Diagnostics in Flower Mound but their operation during the Covid-19 pandemic is totally unacceptable. First off, they should NOT allow walk-ins. Place was too crowded, people were occupying all the seats (at least 10 waiting) inside the office and those of us who had appointments had to wait 15+ minutes to get in and sign in. I didn't observe anyone cleaning the chairs in the waiting room between patients. Door handles were not cleaned and the employee at the door did not hold the door open for patients, so they wouldn't have to touch the handle. There was no sanitizer in sight and patients were not required or asked to sanitize their hands. Face masks were not available for those who didn't have them. I felt less safe at this lab than I did at the grocery store! Once inside, the lab tech was professional, friendly and very efficient. read more

I love that this place opens at 5am!!! You can go In early and still make it to work! I went in without an appt at 550 and was seen within about 15 -25 min, not bad at all. I'd recommend coming here early and then just go on with your day. read more

My daughter had to have blood drawn on a specific day which happened to be right in the middle of our Disneyland vacation. We yelped the Quest locations and chose this one based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. My daughter was apprehensive because she's never had blood drawn and they were great there. We didn't make an appointment but just walked in and were in and out of there relatively quick. It is clean and organized. Highly recommend them. read more

I was very impressed with the layout of this new office, as well as the quality and friendliness of the service received. the office layout is counter / stall style with 4 patient stalls along the counter, and the blood draw employees only have to walk 3 or so steps to the next draw station for the next patient. You are not in separate rooms as traditional blood draw offices are. Make a reservation at these facilities online, it is becoming more and more the norm, otherwise you will wait as others proceed ahead of you who had reservations. I arrived at 10:35 am on a Monday for a 11 am reservation, with about 6 others in the room, and was out by 10:55, waited about 15 minutes, the 3 vial blood draw was about 5 minutes, and done... read more

This Lab facility is WONDERFUL! The wait can be a tad long so I recommend making an appointment (even that is easy on their website!!) My appointment was set for 6:45AM and I was in and out by 7AM! There is a free parking garage and the building is beautiful. I have HUGE ANXIETY issues when it comes to anything medical and the staff at this Quest is FANTASTIC!! I had Cindy do my draw on my horrible collapsing veins and she got all viles needed in the same draw. She even offered me if I wanted to fill up my empty water bottle that I had brought in with me and finished in the waiting room. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone. Thanks QUEST!!! read more

I went to Quest Diagnostics because my GI doctor wanted tests done. The lady who took my blood test said my medicare would probably take care of most, but I would have to pay the rest. I had to sign a form stating that I agreed. I didn't think that it would be a problem until I received a bill from them. First...a stool sample cost me $200 and the three common blood tests cost $201...so I have a bill of $401.00. The lady who did the tests and gave me a bag for stool sample apparently does not explain the costs because it's not really her job to explain about costs. She just had me sign saying that I am responsible for what my medicare/secondary ins would not pay. Believe me, I would not have had these tests if I had known that the cost would be so high...I cannot afford this, I am trying so hard to pay my medical bills, but I am so disappointed in this lab, their lack of having their patients understanding and the costs...$200 for a stool sample!!! My husband just returned from having blood drawn at a Quest Diagnostics lab in Huntington Beach, CA. He must do this once a month per doctors orders. He came home incredibly bruised and in pain from this procedure. The tech poked around and caused this discomfort before she called another woman in to help her. Apparently the 1st girl was relatively new, but she should have stopped what she was doing when he spoke up. This lab always seems to have inexperienced workers and I have had similar experiences myself. The older woman who works there can hit it the 1st try, so I think that the problem is not with our veins, but with incompetence. read more

This was my first interaction with Quest and I must say I will not be returning. I came to the office on Office Park Circle in Sacramento California where I was met by an employee who asked if I had an appointment. I told her I did not and she said they were no longer taking walk ins which is fine. My issue came when she began to explain that the only way I could get in is if there was a cancellation. I asked if I would be able to stand by in case of a cancellation and fall into the back of the rotation. As she began to answer the clerk called for the next appointment and the patient was no longer there. After she finished explaining that they were booked for the day (which I understand) I referred to the now available appointment that opened due to the patient not being present. While I was explaining this the employee just kept saying no I can't help you, over talking and cutting me off as she walked towards the door opening it basically shooing me out the door. Now I now times are crazy at the moment and had she simply said no walk ins I would have been fine but to present me with a scenario and that scenario to arise just to still be denied is unacceptable. Not to mention her attitude and unprofessionalism to top it off. I'll be requesting my labs to go back through Labcorp. read more

Quick service, clean facility but the way they placed the needle left me bruising for a week.

Quest is hands down the worst diagnostic company. I went to this facility last week for testing and they didn't run the full panel of testing as requested from my doctor. I only discovered this when I went to my exam. I called their company to have them waive the draw fee so that I could complete the diagnostic testing at another facility and they declined to offer ANY assistance in the matter all due to THEIR mistake. It's better to try your luck with LabCorp they have better pricing anyways. read more

I don't understand how this place deserves 5 stars from other reviewers! This place is NOT a perfect lab! Let's start with the African American lady at front desk: she's rude, has a freakin attitude problem, and needs to take a customer service training. I took my kid here for blood work, came to check in counter, the "appointment check in" side, (other side is for "walk in"), the first thing came out of this lady's mouth: "You have appointment?", and then "name", "insurance card"... How 'bout a greeting first? She seems like she's so sick of her job and so miserable of sitting on her ass behind a desk doing paperwork all day that she doesn't give a damn about customer service. Next thing is the wait, even with appointment I still had to wait 20 minutes before my son's name was called. On the sign in sheet, there was only 1 person ahead of us and that person had the same appointment time. WTF?! and those other people on top of the list had already been crossed out. And yet, still a long wait! Oh, this gets more interesting, suddenly that miserable lady behind the front counter just screamed out my son's name and then "chair number one!" What the hell is this? Are we at a freakin DMV? I was baffled for a few seconds. No personnel coming out, calling patient's name, opening door for us...none of those! Is this for real? What a shit show! I was stunned when I opened the door and walked in. What they have there is a long counter with 4 chairs next to each other, numbered from 1 to 4, separated only by a divider board between the chairs... and only 1 guy (African American) behind that counter still busy sucking up bit of blood from a man. What that looks like to me is that they try to sit all the patients in the chairs, from 1 to 4, and one guy behind the counter drawing blood from one person, then move on to the person in the next chair, then next chair, like a freakin assembly line! I've been to many different labs and this is the worst set up ever!!! It just gives an impression that people coming in there are treated like prisoners: sit down, put your arm on the counter, have your blood sucked into some little tubes, get up and get the f outta here, next person!! Do you think I would come back to this lab again? Hell no! not in my life time! And of course I would never recommend anyone coming to this lab! If you decide to go to this lab to get your blood sucked, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about. read more
