Apparently in Murrieta, there are two Quest Labs across the…read morestreet from one another and if you're at the wrong one and wait in the lobby to be called which makes you more than 10 minutes late for the right location, they turn you away and they're not sorry. So I didn't get seen by a phlebotomist and walked out without patient care. I took my business to West Pac instead, where there was no wait, was seen as soon as I got there, where staff treated me like a patient and were kind, uplifting and compassionate toward patients. We fasted for 18 hours (instead of the normal 8-10 hour window) just to make sure everything worked out. We even arrived a little after 1000am, hoping we could be seen earlier. But the staff said we would be considered "walk-ins" with a long wait time (if possibly seen), so we kept our appointments. We opted for text messages to keep us updated on our scheduled appointment, and were able to run a few errands. We arrived back around 1115am and waited for our appointment in the lobby. But I finally RECEIVED the text message update stating I "will be called soon" at 119PM, and we were finally seen around 125PM!! Then what is the point in having a *&@$ appointment? And during the wait, I heard the staff saying to other customers in the lobby that if they were even 5 minutes late, they would be cancelled and have to reschedule! I asked the technician about the rescheduling comment (of course after she finished with the needle poking me!) and she said that it was company policy. I feel sorry for those people who were trying to complete their appointment during a lunch break! Good luck! I hope this late experience is a one-off at this location, but doubt it, and will never go back there again. I will take my chances at the Medical Center location next time. The best in her field, and will only let her extract blood from me when I am required to provide for lab tests. The facility, is clean and modern, with comfortable seating in the lounge and very clean restrooms. Ample parking and near the freeway, for easy access. And they accept walk-ins. Perfect! My phlebotomist Tracy was wonderful! Not only did she take her time explaining the instructions of an at home testing kit that I needed to complete (at some places you feel rushed), she also made me feel super comfortable during the blood draw and instructed me when to make a fist, when she was going to insert the needle, when to release the fist, and guided the entire process (some phlebotomists give you no warning and just dig it right in!). Quick, efficient, and minimal discomfort! I didn't even feel the needle being removed. :))) This is huge for someone who has a phobia of needles!!! Thank you quest diagnostics off of antelope!!!!

The prompts were simple, from scanning your barcode if any, to scanning your insurance card. Not great for those that prefer things the traditional way with a live person. Despite the appointment time, my daughter was seen rather late. Fortunately, the phlebotomist had great bedside manners and was proficient in her work. As a former phlebotomist years ago, I'd say she was excellent. My daughter would beg to differ. This was her first experience getting a blood draw and she's not a fan of needles.

The appointment was scheduled for 5:40pm, we arrived at 5:37. We were greeted and checked in immediately, copayment was taken and by 5:48 my family member was taken in for imaging. No wait was necessary and it was fast. The front desk staff were very friendly. The radiologist was very helpful and informative, the care quality was great. I'm not sure how long walk in/no appointments wait time is. But as far as appointments, it was very easy, fast and straightforward.
