Really nice in the mid afternoon and evening as they have live music but the hotel pool is loud. They play their own music and kids playing unfortunately drown out the live music. Roof top and live music are the draws. Go elsewhere for food if you can. read more

The best chicken wings with a beautiful view of the ocean. Great service and live music. Nice happy hour appetizers.

While the ambiance is really great, literally the food could not be worse. The waitress was so nice but clearly overwhelmed. I genuinely felt sorry for her. We ordered two margarita flatbreads. I am not sure if they ran out of pizza sauce but the the pizza was so dry my husband literally choked on the cracker like flatbread. We also ordered a fried chicken sandwich, and ended up with a grilled chicken one instead. Also the coke machine must be broken because we got a flat syrupy mess. read more

Had a 6:15 reservation on OpenTable, was seated on time and then waited 10 minutes for waters. 15 minutes later still no one came to our table to take a drink order. Finally after being there for almost 30 minutes the server came by and we told him we'll be going elsewhere. Keep in mind, we watched 2 other tables that were seated after us actually finish their meals! To top it off, they then had the audacity to cancel my open table reservation so I couldn't review them on open table. read more

Absolutely delicious! It was a little confusing at first because it is a self sat restaurant, but it's not stated anywhere. However, once we made our way to a seat the nicest lady brought us water and took our orders. I got the kiawe smoked chicken breast tacos and my boyfriend got the chicken sandwich. Both were so delicious for the price point and the convenience of the location being right at the hotel can't be beat. The view of the ocean from our table was quite a site to see! read more

Positives first: service was painfully slow but very friendly. Negatives: I paid $30 for a "Wagyu" cheeseburger. The meat was horribly overcooked and also under seasoned. The bacon was floppy and not crisp. THE CHEESE WASN'T EVEN MELTED - it was just a cold slide of deli cheese on this thing?? The fries and onion jam were good at least. But for $30 and wagyu - I'd like to taste the burger part and enjoy it please. Like come on. I also paid $20 for the most standard, boring, non-exciting Caesar salad you could hope for. It didn't do anything except make my partner less hungry. The $21 wings come 7 to an order and are also under seasoned, though well fried - the sauces are actually quite good too. But it's still chicken begging for even a pinch of salt underneath. If you're looking for food that the cooks care even 10% about then this is not the spot for you. If you're hungry and just need food immediately, plus have money to burn, go get at it and have a perfectly mediocre resort meal. read more

Good food and drinks! We were at the swimming pool area. Salad was perfect amount and dressing. The boys had burgers and sandwiches. Server was attentive and cordial. Atmosphere was relaxed, not fancy but worth the money. Very happy with our experience. read more

Just not good, I'm sorry. I wanted to give it a chance, but the reviews are correct. Worst meal we had the entire time in Hawaii. The ambiance and the lady singing before we were seated, are both amazing. read more

We needed a last minute dinner and Queensbreak had availability. When we arrived I'll admit I was feeling not so optimistic about our dinner since the place was very empty. There was something for everyone on the menu and we got two Waygu burgers, a chicken sandwich, and the pepperoni flatbread. The waygu burgers were a hit- very delicious! The chicken sandwich was alright but not that great, and the pepperoni flatbread was enjoyed. The staff were very accommodating and nice and there was a young woman singing live music and she was good. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to go here but if you end up here it'll be nice. read more

My family and I thought we'd get dressed and have dinner in the hotel at the Queensbreak restaurant on the 3rd floor of the hotel. We arrived about 8:10, waited for a short while when I had to go asked how much longer we had to wait, there were several empty tables. At the this point the hostess seated us immediately. About 10 minutes later the waiter comes over, never asked if we'd like a drink of any kind, gives up menus and walks away. Fifteen minutes later she arrives and takes our food order. 20 minutes later she comes back and says the food is on its way. In the meantime I'm watching both my wife and daughter get cold. I waited about 10 minutes longer and finally went back to the hostess station and waited, and waited and waited, before I am approached by a guy who seemed to be the manager and asked if he could help. "Yes! My family and I have waited for nearly 45 minutes for what we ordered." He asked where we were sitting, which I quickly pointed out and said Just pack it up and we'll take it back our room. Five minutes later the food comes out along with the bill and a discount of one entry taken off. This was by far the worst experience ever! The lack of attention to detail was disheartening, the poor service at all levels was less than average. I hope that whatever the problem was tonight gets resolved so no other patron has to experience the horrible service my family and I experienced tonight. read more

Exceeded my expectations! The drinks were gorgeous and the food was delicious. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the service and the atmosphere. The live music really set the ambiance and my friend had a great birthday dinner. The live musician gave her a happy birthday shout and made her feel so special! We will definitely be back. Thank you Patricia for the great service and Chef Nuno for taking care of us! There's validated parking up to 4 hours in the guest structure. Queensbreak is on the 3rd floor of the Waikiki Beach Marriott. There's also games you could play on the deck like corn hole and bocce ball. My favorite drink was the Ooh Bae & I enjoyed the drunken clams, nachos, and if you're hungry... get the burgers! read more

Queensbreak Restaurant - Tonkatsu sandwich, pepperoni flatbread, papaya salad - New American Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

It's an extensive menu, perhaps too extensive. Lunch was tasty! The Waygu Smash burger was over 10" tall sporting a towering double 2" thick of beef patties with fries! Hardly a smash burger! The tiny pork Katsu sandwich served tea-sized and no fries. The chicken sandwich, spicy, was perfect size lunch also with fries. Service was fantastic!!! read more

This place was a step below mediocre. Ordered the fish tacos. Dry. No sauce added. Drinks are overpriced.

Food is okay, that is if everything was half-priced I would consider going again. However for the price the food is just not worth it. It is well-made but the portions are just too small. Unless you are too lazy to go anywhere else, I would recommend you go eat at this place. If you are looking to spend your hotel credit by all means, but other than that, find a better restaurant. Their drinks, however, were reasonably priced and strong, that is, they do not dilute it with too much water or soda, so that I do recommend. read more

I've never heard of this place before but we went here because one of our friends were visiting from the mainland. She wanted to try this place. The ambience was beautiful, the service just was not on the same level. It didn't seem as busy when we got there at 730p either. We must have sat there for awhile until someone even came to take our drink orders. From that point, we ordered our food at the same time because we didn't want to wait any longer. Let's just say we left that place at 10p. Most of the foods we ordered were pupu style to share. Got the pork bao buns, kalua pork tacos, fish tacos, clams, and mushroom bruschetta. It was an hour later that we received it. That I thought was very disappointing and it seemed like they were staffed just fine. Food was good and so were the drinks. It was the customer service that was not. No one ever came to check on our table or refill our waters. We had to ask. read more

Queensbreak Restaurant - Ooh Bae - New American Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Came to get drinks and snacks after the beach. Sat down and said "hey how are you today" to the bartender to which I got a stupid look and no response back. The other bartender Gary made me the worst pina in all of hawaii, with a total of 2 ice cubes in it that was served liquid and borderline warm. Not wanting to complain(even though it's a $20+ drink) I watched multiple other people come back up and return their shittily made drinks for new ones in the time I was there. Def wouldn't go back for such unfriendly/unwelcoming service read more

My Caesar salad was perfect, my server was on the ball even though she was clearly training another server. She even brought me two unsweetened teas so I wouldn't have to wait around (even though they didn't make you wait for anything)! It was a lovely breeze Sunday afternoon and not too busy. This soft opening of Marriott's new rooftop pool bar seems to be a hit. read more

Went to this place after seeing the good reviews and boy were we disappointed. We had a reservation and so we were seated very quickly although we heard a lot of people being told there was a wait time despite the place being empty. Upon sitting down we noticed lots of dirty tables as well as the wait staff running around constantly. There were only 2 waiters that seemed to be working while 3 people were in the front of house. We ordered the fish tacos, tonkatsu sandwich as well as a side of chips and salsa as neither of the dishes came with sides. Now this is where the disappointment really started. While the fish tacos were very good, the sandwich could be described as nothing less than a fried piece of pork between wonder bread. The cabbage and other things that were suppose to come in the sandwich were on the side, and since it had been sliced so thinly it was impossible to add it in. It was definitely not worth 17$. Not once did our waiter come and check on us. We waited about 20 minutes after we were done for our waiter to show up and had to ask the other waitress to bring our bill as he was no where to be found. With only 6 tables I found this very confusing. After another couple of minutes he came to pick up our plates and when we asked for the bill he told us "wait a minute" before leaving. After we gave our card it took ten minutes for him to come back, and even then he stopped at two more tables before bringing it to us. While the live music and atmosphere could make it a nice place, the food, and lack of organization from the wait staff make it one of the worst places I've been to. If you are staying at the resort and want to eat by the pool it might be worth it but other than that, there are so many more places on the Waikiki strip that will leave you feeling satisfied, unlike this place. read more

Food was good their wings excellent but they over charged my card by $400!! My partner and I only got $40 WORTH OF FOOD! Had us scrambling for money so I could eat for the rest of our time here. Asked for compensation but so far have not gotten any yet. Not even my money has been refunded. Be careful and make sure you can afford a mistake like that happening if you consider going read more

Overpriced food, average flavor, and horrible service. Also they don't do takeout orders over the phone. Marriott should reconsider their association with them. read more

Beautiful views but terrible service- they don't bother to come to table even once after taking order and then giving you the check ! As far as food: I ordered Caesar salad with grilled chicken poolside ( same restaurant) the chicken was nearly raw! It could totally cause disease-especially for young people! They must be seriously understaffed to bring unsanitary food to eat! read more

Good option for dining if you must eat at the Marriott. I would say the drinks are overpriced but the fries, flatbread, chips and salsa, chicken wings are great poolside options. Service is great too read more

The ambiance is on point. You can take some really aesthetically pleasing photos here. We ate here for dinner, which was so so. And then again the next day for lunch. It's kinda pricey for what it is, but that is to be expected in Waikiki at a hotel. There was live entertainment when we went for dinner and he was SO good. The service is good as well, really friendly staff. read more

This place surprised me. I didn't expect much since it's a restaurant near a pool, but it blew my expectations. The food was good and the service was really good too. Went for a late dinner (about 8:30 pm), and it was cold due to the cold front. But the workers brought out towels to wrap around us to keep us warm. The hubby liked the nachos and steak dish. read more

When getting here, we had to wait 5+ minutes for the hostess to realize we were there because they were behind a closed off area. The waitress was super nice and pretty great. The food though was awful. I had the mushroom bruschetta and the mushrooms were dried mushrooms that hadn't been full rehydrated so they were just extremely hard to eat. I also got the mango soufflé and I'm honestly not sure how it's a soufflé. It doesn't look like one at all, the whipped cream on top tasted like cool whip, and the fruit was all completely frozen. The food looks pretty, but tastes pretty bad and isn't worth the price at all. read more

Good lunch spot! We were very impressed by their food options. While it's a little more limited, the food was so good! We shared the mushroom flatbread and fish tacos. That seemed to be enough food for the three of us. They were very accommodating to allergies such as gluten and dairy. The drinks were traditional drinks - little over priced. I found their speciality drinks like the Sippin Gin to be way too sweet. read more

1 star for that poor replication of an acai bowl. Who decided on the shaved ice in lieu of the berry puree? If you can't make it properly, then take it off the menu! Terrible. read more

I usually have my disappointments about hotel restaurants let me tell Queensbreak doesn't disappoint. Lovely selection not a very deep menu but the essence is great, presentation wonderful. Friendly staff very prompt. Busy Valentines Evening took about 15 -20 minutes for a waitress to attend but I would hold it against Queensbreak great task. The only tick I have with Queensbreak is that the champagne and wine selection I find was very limited and the $80 dollar bottle of champagne I was charged for turned out to be a Costco 5.99 Prosecco. Overall this is a great experience, I think its good for the whole family. read more

Great ambiance, food and cocktails. Very cool place, I wish we had more time here. My chicken and the wife's Salad were perfect.

I've stayed at the hotel for a week and have been to this restaurants 3 times. Each time was a disappointment. Once we've been seated at the tables and the service was not good at all. It was ran by a bunch of slow old ladies( nothing against them) but the service was really slow and it sucked. The food was very mediocre and overpriced for the quality. We tried about 9 dishes on the menu and the best one was fries for $10. There are so many other restaurants at similar price and so much better food options and the service. The drinks now at all in the plastic cups. Mai tais are decent but if you want something non Hawaiian, they are underpoared and I'm weird plastic cups ( forget about martinies) Overal I would not recommend this place unless you are on a work trip and it's very late for other places and you are staying at the hotel. Great view, but one of the worst meals, I've had in a long time. Flat bread was an edible.

Shocked by the negative reviews. My husband and I came here during happy hour and absolutely loved it. The waiter was super helpful and we loved the view from the rooftop seating area. The drinks were delicious. We recommend the blue cocktail... I can't remember what it's called but ask the staff because it's so good! Also the wings were delicious and so are the fish tacos. The only complaint I had was that the nachos weren't that good, but I definitely would go back to this place! read more

We stayed at the hotel and on our last night we gave it a go. The staff was great. We got in before the rush with our 6:30 reservation. The music by the young local was great and really the reason I gave it two stars. We got the wings, nachos and Mac and cheese. I have had a lot of those three items and will have to say the nachos need a lot of help. The cheese is grainy and out of can or the chef used the wrong cheese. They were not edible after the third or fourth bite of the toppings. The mac n cheese " homemade" was not homemade . It was the same cheese from the can. My kid wouldn't even eat it and he eats everything. This place has a lot of potential but the food needs major help for these prices. I really hope it gets the help or it will never make it. Our bill was 72.00 and we left 3/4 of it. The chicken wings were avg. 21 dollars for 6 wings seems crazy to me. Nothing special. Great job with ambiance , drinks, staff and music. We had to go to the ABC store because we were still hungry. read more

Fish tacos were decent... "crispy" (not crispy) chicken wings weren't seasoned or cooked "Crispy) as menu advertised. Grilled cheese wasn't even melted fully.
