We ordered food at the poolside at the family pool inside Marriott. Unfortunately the food was bland, and we ordered a lot of different dishes. The pad Thai tasted nothing like it, it was greasy and oily with no flavor whatsoever. I paid for a pineapple and I was given a quarter piece that was so overpriced. My husband didn't like the pizza, tasteless and lacked flavor. The only thing worth ordering was the drinks! We won't be ordering food from here again. Save your money! read more

OVERPRICED. It's 17.50$ for all the cocktails and the wine and beer came in a plastic cup, so where is this money going? The service was slow and it seemed like every table was waiting to place their order or get their food. Maybe that's managements fault for not properly staffing. The ube colada was good but not worth the 17.50$ I got the pizza and it was 20$ for 4 slices that were TINY. (No sides) My husband got the wagyu burger that tasted so mid , 5 guys burgers are better. Great Maitais and bar menu. Kalua nachos and the Caesar salad is what we usually get. I enjoy the ambience especially since it's outdoors and it's got cute patio/outdoor furniture to chillax in. If you're poolside I'd recommend being a bit more proactive to get a menu from the staff, they often miss people who want to order. If your dining in. Yea the wait can be a bit long if they're busy but we've been satisfied with our experience each time we've been there. read more

First time visiting Honolulu, stayed at the Marriott and this restaurant is conveniently located in between the two hotel buildings. Nice outdoor seating. Great ambience and good drinks. These are the only two positives about this place. The drinks came in flimsy plastic cups, which I thought was very tacky considering the price of the drinks. Food was mediocre. Fries and nachos were good. The mushroom flatbread was chewy and hard to eat. The live music was not good. Not sure if it's the same musician every night but he was boring! We are currently on a staycation and have eaten here 3 times. Each time the food has been really good. Chips and salsa are super fresh, drunken clams are great, and steak looks great but we haven't tried it yet. Yes the service is slow...for the tourists reading this there are major hiring shortages and working in Waikiki is a huge pain with traffic and parking so probably even harder to recruit staff. Not so hidden awesome spot for cocktails and tasty bites. Set in the third floor of Marriott Waikiki and Spa, this is the spot for the best sunsets with a perfect island drink in hand. The flatbreads, the burger and the katsu sando were all stand outs but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Live music in a beautiful space sets the tone for a great night. read more

We ordered several apps and many drinks while at the pool. The drinks were all descent, beer selection is ok, would have been nice to have a darker beer option. Wings were a 2/10, worst wings I've ever had, no flavor whatsoever. Flatbread pizza was a 8/10. Nachos were a 7/10, surprisingly good, but confused on why the nacho cheese was cold and the shredded cheese wasn't melted. Service was average, but expected better since we had a cabana. read more

Staying at the Waikiki Marriott resort which this restaurant is part of. Was lounging on the 3rd floor by the pool areas and looking at the menu for about 10 minutes before the host returned to the host stand, i then approached her to ask "Hi, when we are ready to be seated do we just come up here?" to which she replied that this is a restaurant and I need to be wearing clothes (I was in a swimsuit bc both pools are 10 feet away). I told her no problem that I had clothes and asked again if we just come to the host stand when ready to be seated. I asked this since we had been there for over 30 mins and nobody was at the host stand the whole time. She then proceeded to tell me 3 more times that I need clothing and that she's ready to seat me now. Very rude and unprofessional to directly not answer a question and continue to be repetitive and condescending. This host lady had very short dark brown hair and was elderly, not sure if she just wasn't understanding me or just takes her job too seriously. Decided to just leave and take my money elsewhere. What a shame that this is the service being given at an expensive resort while people are trying to enjoy their vacations. I'd highly recommend going elsewhere :) read more

Went for happy hour and drinks were in plastic cups made by the pool bar and they were extremely watered down and not good. My margarita was terrible. I ordered HH nachos and they were ehh, it was a good portion but it barely had any jalapeños so when I asked for more I was charged an extra $2 on the bill. The only good thing about this place is the vibe/atmosphere. The service is horrible. We walked in and waited about 10-15 minutes for a host to even acknowledge us (she even made eye contact but kept walking without saying anything). Must be under staffed because we had to wait forever to see our server when we were trying to pay. Literally had to get up and chase her down because she wouldn't make eye contact with our table. I should of looked at the reviews before going here. It looked hip and trendy on the insta add but it is basically a poolside restaurant serving to a tourist crowd that is replenished daily. Food was bland and expensive. Almost $70 for a pork sandwich a chicken sandwich and some wings. No drinks. Chicken sandwich was so dry and bland. Try brining the chicken or seasoning it because that is not worth $25 anywhere. The tonkatsu sandwich needed better trimming on the pork and the chicken wings were again bland and dry. Hi Folks! This is my first yelp review ever--but this place needed it. My daughter and I came here for Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a 5 pm reservation. Our waitress was fabulous! Jeanine. Ask for her. We ordered a Prime Rib Dinner (this was off their special Thanksgiving Day menu), salad and asked for an order of cranberry sauce on the side. Let me tell you, friends--this was the WORST. MEAL. I'VE. EVER. PAID. FOR!! Holy Moly. The $20 salad was nothing special, but I'm fairly certain you get twice as much salad at your average restaurant for 1/4 the price. Seriously! The mashed Taro was good. The Prime Rib was incredibly overcooked. There wasn't one spot of pink in it! I realize they don't have this on their every day menu, but if you're offering it to people who are willing to pay $55 for a smallish-Rib, one scoop of mashed taro and FOUR--count-'em FOUR stems of asparagus, you darn well should practice making them first. The menu said "smoked for 12 hours;" if this is the case, it was at least four hours too long! And the cranberry relish? I have never in my life eaten anything like it. It was so SALTY you couldn't eat it!! I had-literally 2 tablespoons (I kid you not!) and I added an entire packet of Splenda just to get it down!! I don't know what they do to cranberries in Cape Cod (it was called Cape Cod Cranberry Relish), but cranberry was not in it!! We just couldn't figure out what the heck it was! We paid big bucks to share a small salad, a Prime Rib, one scoop of mashed Taro and four pieces of asparagus! Oh and a rum and Diet Coke in a seriously-less-than--eight-ounce-glass that was mostly ice. This was a $100 meal that might have been worth about $40. In Honolulu. Probably $27 stateside. Seriously!! The location was fantastic! We were able to watch the sky as the sunset changed it from blue to pink and then dusk. It's open air, and of course it's always perfect weather here in Hawaii, so that was really special. The musician Johnny Helm was excellent. He mastered old covers such as brown eyed girl. He was a little loud for conversation, but that was OK since we had been bikeriding and we're tired anyway. Now, onto why I only gave it two stars overall: the portions were tiny and way overpriced! My ginger ale cost $5.25. It was basic Canada Dry on the rocks and a plastic cup. I had the Katsu sandwich, which looked great on the menu description, but when it arrived, I was shocked! It was a tiny chicken Katsu patty smushed between two pieces of white bread with the crust cut off and then sliced into four portions. I couldn't believe I was receiving only this for $18! There was a sauce on the side, and a tiny pile of cabbage and pickled onions on the side. And that was it! I was starving by the time I rode my bike home and had to have an actual supper. My friends had the fish tacos which were tough and tiny. Our service was mediocre at best. He actually started clearing the table before my friend was finished eating! I would recommend this place for drinks and to listen to the music, but for dinner, go elsewhere where you can get a better value. read more

Local family who did a Resort Pass cabana for the day and had THE WORST server (Chevelle) at the pool I've ever experienced! her attitude was so fake, service took forever, it took her an hour to go get a side of pork from the kitchen because apparently it was far for her to go. she was extremely rude and then charged my card after claiming she didn't and our meal was comped. I had to wait over 30 minutes to get proof of comp. I'll literally go anywhere else but here! Asked for the manager and he never showed...do NOT waste your money on this overpriced bar food.
