Many things to be said about this place and in no particular order: 1. Lack of personal space - the pedicure area looks fine but the manicure area... all the stations are so squished in close together that's it's almost impossible for you to move. You will be right up close to the stranger next to you. 2. Poor quality supplies - I have had my nails done here several times and every time my nails will start to lift within the first week (my guess is the primer they use is trash). They also must use some industrial strength glue to secure the acrylic tips onto the nails bcuz omg are they stuck on there and incredibly painful to remove. So not only do you have the problem of your nails lifting at the base within a week, but if they lift enough that majority of the nail comes off... you can't just pop the rest of the nail off bcuz the tip of the nail is still so stuck on that it painfully rips your natural nail tips off too. Even when I do the proper soak off method this still happens. 3. Price - Prior to moving to Austin I was blessed with having one of the best and most creative nail techs in Houston for 3+ yrs so I am no stranger to the costs associated with having medium length acrylic nails with intricate designs. HOWEVER, this place is insane. For the quality of the nails and novice level design skills this place is a joke. First time I went they charged me $130 (not including my tip) for a full set, med-long length (not even an inch long), and some foil design work. Thought the price was a little high but I did get foil on every nail so I kinda wrote it off. Mind you, I still went home and had to file down excess gel powder that had hardened underneath my nails and had not been removed/filed down by my tech. Second time I went I had to wait 30+ min after my scheduled appt time. I got a fill and kept the same length but the new designs were very basic and minimal. Still, they charged me $130 and again, I had to file down excess gel powder that had hardened underneath and was not removed. I'm sorry but $130 for a FILL, no additional filing down, and basic basic designs.. like you're joking right? They charged me the same price the first time I went and that was for a full set with way more intricate designs so please - make it make sense. I would normally argue the price but it was already an hour past closing (due to my appt starting so late) and my nail tech was the only one left in the building besides me so I knew there wasn't much she could do about it without management there. So I paid it and told myself I would never be coming back here again. read more

2 stars and not 1 for the lady who did my toes. Thank you. Went to get a gel mani pedi yesterday and left with lumpy nails. The guy who did them rushed. Went back today to ask them to fix it and they said gel designs aren't even on the nails - uh Yes they should be. You shouldn't send people out of a nail salon with lumpy uneven nails, that's crazy. They fixed one nail yesterday before I left (didn't realize the others were so uneven before leaving) by filing the design down and the color was still where it was supposed to be and the nail was flat and not lumpy. Today they tried to fix it the way I wanted making me feel like a nuisance the whole time. Sorry someone didn't do their job right the first time? Look, if I spend $120 at your business and I'm not happy with lumpy nails I think I should be treated kindly and not rushed out the door with still lumpy uneven nails. This was my first time trying this salon. I had high hopes because it had good reviews and the tech I chose had good reviews too. The salon and tech were very nice during the session. The tech helped me pick the colors and order of the colors and I was very happy. At first glance the nails seemed nice enough. Bonus points for not over filing and burning me, didn't clip, cut, or scratch me at all - top notch comfort. But upon closer inspection the quality is not what I wish it was. There is a large gap on almost every nail where the gel x was not fully adhered to the surface of my nail and around the cuticle which suck because things like lotion gets stuck in there and you need to use a brush (like toothbrush) to get it out. The gel wasn't cleaned up around the cuticle and I can already feel voids around the cuticle where my hair will eventually catch when I'm tying up my hair, etc and it'll cause the nails to fall off faster. I've gotten gel x all across Texas and multiple states (I travel for work); so I've come across a lot of sub-par places, but have also found some talented and quality techs. I needed to find a solid place in Austin because I'm here indefinitely for work, but back to the drawing board. read more

These men & women are absolutely kings & queens! NAILS I saw all the beautiful work they've done online. I was not disappointed. My nails turned out just as I expected them to. The technician doing my nails was extremely rushed and only fixed a bumpy uneven bottom coat on my thumb after I pointed it out twice. She hardly let my hands sit in the light and rushed through the painting, looking over her shoulder and talking to other employees most of the time. As a mom of a little one, it's hard to get to the salon. I definitely don't have time to go back to get it fixed. I've been here numerous times because it is convenient and it always feels rushed. The manicures never last long (have had dip and gel). There is often a wait because they get very busy. You then feel like they rush to get you out and move on to the next person. They sometimes tell you there's no wait but you sit in the pedicure chair waiting (up to 45 minutes in the past). I also don't think they sterilize their instruments between clients. They pull them out of an already open autoclave bag, which is obviously not ok. I definitely won't be going back here again. Would NOT recommend. read more

Came here again as my friend wanted to do her bridal nails here. I probably wouldn't have come if it was up to me cause I just remembered it being crowded and expensive--which it still is. Our appointment was at 2:30 and we didn't start until about 3:15 because they were packed and obviously overbooked, which peeves me cause 1. the point of appointments is ensuring your service at a specific time and 2. the services end up feeling rushed. So expect to wait and be rushed around. The woman at the cash register and another who seemed to be a manager of sorts were both really kind, so that was somewhat helpful. Unfortunately the technicians I had were not so. The man who did my manicure was coughing and sneezing the whole time, which was slightly concerning and he did an okay job but the color was way more transparent on and I ended up hating the nails. SNS though so what can ya do. The woman who did my pedicure was okay and did just okay job. My toes were a bit unevenly coated and didn't end up as smooth. Then when she put my shoes on-- just strap birks which multiple other technicians have done before at other places and never had a problem-- she was kind of rude. she would tell me to keep my foot still but then would tell me to lift it but then tell me not to move it? and she was clearly unhappy with anything that I did. So a bit uncomfortable. They also cut my friend's big toe badly when doing the callus thing. It wouldn't stop bleeding and was pretty bad, and still hurts a few days later for her wedding. They also cut some cuticles on us both. So ouch. Aaaaand it was like $90. So if you have money to blow maybe that's okay, but for me that's a lot of dollars to spend on "just okay". Not planning to be back. Also parking is a nightmare so be prepared if you do decide to come here. read more
