Please take time and read this.... I am reporting this place to public Health after hearing this nail salon was the best I decided to try it out. Worst decision I have made... An and her family were not very friendly with me, my acrylic nails were not even covering my real nail completely. she seemed to be working fast and did not take her time. I asked her questions like "what color do you think?" Or "that does everyone else do?" She would just say I don't know it's up to you. (Not helpful) theses where my first set of acrylics and I had no I idea what was the correct way of doing things. I was not happy with the outcome of my nails so 3 weeks later i decided to take them off. 6 hours later in a span of 2 days all my nails where finally taken off. I was told by many that it would only take 30min to remove them myself. I noticed on my natural nail a outline of where the acrylic nail was. So I went to the Beauty college to get them painted to cover the outline. as I was tell the nail tech at the college my horrible experience removing my nails. she seemed surprised and she too said it should have only took about 20mins to do. after examining my natural nails she said I have all the signs caused by the use of illegal acrylic band from the USA. she said that the product at Queen nails is illegal, toxic, and causes reproductive health risks. Ladies, please do not go to Queen nails, it is unsafe for your health and not to mention bad customer service. read more

Just had a terrible experience here for a gel manicure. My nails looks amateurish in every way, plus he was rushing me so that it hurt, even though I told him about it twice. I was a walk-in, but they should have told me that they didn't have time for me because five minutes later four women with appointments showed up. Not fair to me, not fair to them. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Came in with my mom for 2 pedis and 2 manicures. Was told to make an appointment for 1/2 hour later. Did that, came back started pedicures and then they acted completely flabbergasted that's we still wanted manicures. They wanted us to have our pedicures and then come back in another hour. I told them to hold off on pedicures so she only trimmed my toenails. My mom completed her pedicure as she was farther along. They charged us 40 for the pedicure and then tried to charge 15 just for clipping my toe nails. All and all they refused to charge less than 10. So 50 dollars later we left with just one pedicure. It was not a clean space and super uncomfortable. Would not recommend at all. read more

Very disappointed by this nail salon. I decided on try it out last week based on the Yelp reviews, and I regret that I did. The gel top coat on two of my nails literally peeled off, 3 days after I got them done. This is after I went back the next day to get my nails capped since the nail tech didn't cap my nails with the gel polish, as other nail techs in the past have done. She wasn't very kind to my request, and glopped on the top coat without even wiping my nails with alcohol to keep the top coat from peeling. Needless to say, I'll never come back to this salon again, or any salon. I'm better off buying an LED lamp and gel polish to do by myself at home, with more professional results. read more

I recommend an appointment because this place will not rush you when more people start shuffling in. If they don't have time for you they will be honest and tell you to come back. With that being said, I called at 11:30 and made a same day appointment at 12. They did an amazing job with my gel pedicure and I will absolutely come back. read more

I just moved to this area and I've been on a lookout for a good nail salon I had been to two other places and they couldn't get then how I liked them without me feeling uncomfortable to ask to fix it to they way I like my nails. Well I tried Queen nails and I am SO happy! She made me feel so comfortable she asked me what I thought of the shape and if I wanted her to fix anything without feeling annoyed if I did. (I didn't I finally loved the shape) They were really friendly and knew pretty much everyone who walked in the door by name! I will definitely be going back. I broke one of my very long stiletto nails and man, did they struggle trying to fix it. Took them an hour to do a repair on one nail, and I had to hear about how my nails were too long the ENTIRE time. I'm not joking. About every ten minutes the older gentleman would complain my nails were too long and the older woman would frown, glare at me, and shake her head while she was trying to file them. Is it my fault you don't have the skill to do anything but little squares all the time? The best part is the nail is crooked. All that shaping and complaining and they couldn't even get it right. Since I just moved up here and don't know many people other than my fiances family, I felt like I had no other choice but to come on here and look up some reviews to pick out the best, most affordable salon to get my nails done for a wedding. Found myself finding Queen Nails. I saw that the reviews were good, their portfolio looked nice so I decided to give this a try. It was in a difficult location to find for one, after I found the location of the salon and got in I noticed that the salon looked a lot dirtier than the pictures on here, but reminding myself about the other photos of nail art and happy reviews I tried to look past the salons unkempt looks. I should have walked out then and there. I was "greeted" by a not so friendly looking man, did not ask me how I was just was just trying to rush me to tell him what I wanted done and to get me seated. (I also forgot to mention I later found out their pricing for my service was inaccurate to this yelp page, it cost more.) He did not speak to me at all just half way smiled and nodded when I spoke to him, only asked me "Do you want long, or short nails?" before passing me on another person who worked in the salon. By the time my nails were half way done I had a total of THREE different manicurists going back and forth to me other clients, not being very friendly, just trying to get myself and others in an out as fast as they could with out explanation or an apology. This is very unprofessional and unacceptable. I will NEVER go back to this salon and warn others else wise. TL;DR They're dirty, rude, and completely unprofessional. read more

The man who did my nails was very nice. This is my first time here with my mother (I'm visiting from out of town) I was excited to try this place but the nail technician did mess up a little bit he filed my nails down too much which made my nails brittle and tender also the polish was missing around the edges and got underneath the nails that has never happened before. read more

Needed a pedicure and a full set, decided to stop by Queens nails. I got a pedicure with a not so impressive design and a Coffin Set, total was $65. Given that I've read a previous review with the same type of shape and they even had designs I feel like I was overcharged for my set ($35)Didn't have anything extra just regular polish. Don't get me wrong, I can afford that and more but I'm not happy paying so much for getting so little in return.New to the area so not sure what pricing is like around here but I'll keep trying new places until I find the one. The pedicure was ok, nails meh and design was sad to say the least. I will not be back. We went to get our nails done here since our regular place was booked and we couldn't wait for a later time. The wait was short which it was nice. The pedicure I got was from 10 prolly a 8/10 since she didn't do my cuticles aside from that the paint, the message and colors were good. I'm giving them a 3 start review because of my hand nails. So after my pedicure I asked for gel hand nails and it was French tip. The lady was rushing to get me done since there were some people waiting to be done and she didn't even French nail the whole tip. After she was done, she forgot to put the top coat that makes it look done and shiny so I did it myself since they left everything on the table since she had gone to her next client. I wanted a good design on my toes but they couldn't do it and only one person was able to do it, which it wasn't the whole design but at least I got my toe done. They do a good job the problem is that they rush you so they can get to the next client which I understand is good for business but for some people that like things great, I would've appreciate it more time spend on my nails and be able to tell them about some nails not been done perfect. I will never go here again. They drilled through my finger nail multiple times. It might have been because the girl was looking at her phone while she was doing it.
