From the moment I walked in, every chair was full, which told me everything I needed to know, yet I was still seated within about five minutes. The service was outstanding. My technician did an excellent job, and every single employee I interacted with was courteous, professional, and genuinely kind. The atmosphere was busy but still relaxing and welcoming. The location is also incredibly convenient, right by In-N-Out, MOD Pizza, Starbucks, and Costco. It's the perfect setup. Drop off your wife or girlfriend for some pampering, run errands or grab lunch nearby, then come back to pick her up with beautiful nails and toes. My daughter went in a few days ago and got a full set. Within a few days all her nails were lifting and eventually all fell off. She called and let them know what happened and made an appointment to get them fixed. I went with her and also got my nails done. When I went to check out, they tried charging my daughter $75 for a full set again!! I told them there was absolutely no way we were paying for a full set of nails when she just paid for a full set of nails that were obviously done improperly. The owner, Chloe, did my nails today and left a complete mess all over my fingers, see photos. Unprofessional, low quality and horrible experience. We will never go back!! ***Response to Owner - There are no policies posted anywhere in your salon, no prices either, which is pretty shady business practices as prices seem to be pulled out of thin air. My daughter paid less when she originally got her nails done than you were trying to charge her today. She called and let you know there were issues, made an appointment to have it fixed, brought in all the nails that fell and was told you needed to do a full set to fix it. We never imagined you would try charging to fix the mistake of your employee improperly performing the service in the first place, let alone more than she originally even paid at $75!!!! You offered a minimal discount. I originally thought you said to pay $15 and when I clarified you said to pay $50. I never left without paying, the fact you would even state that is absurd. In fact, I payed you almost $180 for my nails and 2 pedicures and have the receipt as proof. I told you I was not paying an additional $75 for the nails that were previously paid for by my daughter to be properly done and you had to fix. I would never step foot in your shop again! Worst experience I've ever had getting my nails done. Me and a friend showed up for our scheduled appointment and, since there weren't many people there, expected to be seen pretty quickly. My friend was left waiting almost an hour after her toes were done just to get her nails started, while several people who came in after us were taken before her. The man doing my nails was extremely rude. I showed him exactly what I wanted, including the shape, and he gave me basically the opposite. When I told him I didn't like the color he picked, he became very passive aggressive. He spent most of the appointment flirting with the girl next to me and ignored me whenever I tried to talk to him. At the register, I specifically asked if both of our services were on one tab and was told yes. We paid and were walking out when employees ran outside yelling that we hadn't paid for both sets of nails. Overall just a very uncomfortable and unprofessional experience. read more

This was my first time visiting Bliss Nails and my overall experience was pretty good. It is absolutely beautiful on the inside and everything felt very clean. They have a large staff so they are able to accommodate same day appointments and walk-ins. I was greeted quickly and shown to a pedicure station. There is a bit of a language barrier with some of the employees which can cause some repetition and need for clarification, but they were patient and very friendly! I received a pedicure with French tips, full set of acrylics with French tips, and (for the first time ever) a lash lift and tint. The pedicure was great! The massage chairs are all new and in perfect condition, the water was not too hot, and the women who did my nails was so sweet! They opened up a fresh pack of tools to use on my feet too, which a lot of places don't seem to do. The manicure I was slightly less happy with, but still a good experience. I feel most of that has to do with personal preference. The nails are sharper and thicker underneath than I hoped for and am use to. My cuticles are also really dry since getting them done. There are a few imperfections on the white paint, small missed spots, but overall I am satisfied. I didn't see if he opened fresh tools for my nails, like they did for my nails or used the same ones. The lash lift and tint was quite the experience! Chloe communicated well with me and helped me greatly when my eyes started watering. The product did get into my eyes at two points, but I chalk that up as a circumstantial possibility rather than an issue with the service. I had never done that procedure before and have my basic concerns, but so far so good and I love they way it looks like I am wearing mascara without having to! The only negative thing I have to say is that it was very awkward to be listening to all the phone conversations that came in while lying on the bed for the lashes. I understand being busy and that the speaker is a helpful tool, but it felt unprofessional and awkward, especially when someone called in to make a complaint and I was privy to the whole conversation. This place is great for so many reasons! It's beautiful and cozy inside and the staff is accommodating and kind. I definitely recommend making an appointment ahead of time, as every time I have arrived for mine, it's fully packed in there, even on weekdays! Chloe is incredible. She is the main lash esthetician and is constantly busy and booked, which is a good sign that she knows what she's doing. It's a bonus that she is the sweetest, and honestly has the most cozy, happy vibe every time I see her. I have been to this salon approximately four times and had a good experience. The last time I went, I had an older lady who didn't speak English unfortunately I didn't get her name so I can't mention it on this post. She cut three of my cuticles and they were very painful for a week. She also put polish on the end of my thumb and scrubbed it with an emery board to get it off. I then ended up with an abrasion for over a week before it healed. One week after the gel manicure, my nails started to chip and break. Okay so this is gonna be long. This was my 8th time coming to this salon and I brought a friend as well. One pedicure & a full set and a gel mani. Total of $213, my pedicure was $45 and now other prices were told to us.. They usually tell you how much they'd be charging once you show your inspo pic. We were playing musical chairs the first hour and a half we were there, and it wasn't just us. Seemed very chaotic and unorganized. Nonetheless, we continued. I began with a lady who filed the designs off of my nails before moving me to another chair to soak off. About 10-15 minutes pass and the tallest guy there takes one of my hands out and says "oh this is gonna take a long time" I got these nails done here... these are y'all's products.. He filed my nails with the drill and after another 10 minutes soaking I moved chairs again. This time he filed and used a cuticle trimmer to wedge between my nail and the fake nail. Then he used a nail tip to slide between and take the fake nails, acrylic and layers of my real nails off. At first there was no pain so I let it slide but then it HURT. I pulled my finger back a little and said "Ouch!" without a second thought or a sorry he tried again I said "Could you just file it down? That hurts." He continued to the next finger with the same method and it didn't hurt so I didn't say anything.. Why spend 20 minutes soaking off and being charged whatever they decided for a soak off if you're just gonna rip my sh!t off? Ok so boom. He preps my nails and places the nail tips. My index finger was crooked and I asked him if he could take it off and reglue it down because it was crooked and he said once he puts the acrylic he will "file it straight but it's because your fingernails wasn't there so it couldn't be straight" I'm sorry I had a nail when I walked in this heffa and also that's not how that works.. but alright. Spoiler- the nail did not "turn" straight. I have clinodactyly in my pinky fingers so that's expected for those little fingers but the rest are straight. My friend was a witness and he definitely was arguing with me about MY NAILS. I asked if the cat eye polish could be half the nail and faded and he just painted the entire nail. At this point I was tired of "complaining" it felt like. Usually they ask "is this okay?" throughout the process and make changes as needed. Not this guy. He was RUDE. He then got white polish to do the lines and I asked him if he could use a light pink and he goes "your picture isn't pink" I replied and zoomed in "I think it is but even if not I'd like a pale pink" and he says "pink isn't gonna pop, you won't be able to see it" BROTHER I DO NOT CARE. Like what?!? He then irritatingly gets up and gets a light pink and these were the results. He also started rushing my Nails with the line work, and when he was ready for my nails to go under the UV lamp, he would almost toss my hand. There was one line that was super thick and I asked him if he could fix it before I put my hand under the lamp and he proceeded to fix it for about 20 seconds which makes me think that he too saw what I was talking about and he wasn't going to fix it initially. It felt really aggressive, and I would look at my friend, and she noticed it too. At the end we go to pay and he asked if it was together or separate. He never gave a breakdown of how much anything cost and I've been to the nail salon enough to know that my friends Nails shouldn't have been more than $55. Besides the length of my nails, they were simple. I've come and gotten much more intricate Nails here and have paid no more than $80 and I would tip well of course because they did a wonderful job. This time he just told me 213 and I paid after I paid he asked if I would like to add a tip I said sure $20. He asked 15 for me 5 for the pedicure. I just said sure because I was so over it. And I will now venture out because I'm not arguing with someone about the nails that are gonna be on my hands for two weeks. Plus, if he had just taken the nail tip off and re-glued it down straight it wouldn't be like this and due to it being slightly crooked, it's been the only nail that I've jammed in less than 24 hours. read more

I had Lisa and she was talking the whole time, on and off her phone and not even paying attention to the steps where she would repeat steps that she's already done on the same hand/nail so everything came out horrible. That way the color always matches. They listened to what I wanted. They are family owned. A second shop is in San Diego. Sky, one of the mangers, told me there are 3 managers over different parts of the shop. There is a lot of accountability. Poor experience two times in a row. First time went requested, Chloe, was sat with a guy, was just wanting a fill-in, and wanted the specific style of cat eyes where it looks like glazed donuts. I was charged for shaving, even though my nails were already shaped like almonds, seemed like they were putting too much gel on. I was getting acrylic. I was charged $70, way too much money. Within two days the gel was chipping and lifting on multiple nails, and within two weeks three fingernails had completely popped off. Crazy experience for way too much being spent. I regularly get my nails done and this was the first time I been there. I went back thinking it was a one off, requested Chloe. It was sat with another guy. This time I asked for with specific pretty decals. They used acrylic on top of natural nails and shape out a weird shape with those nails. Nails with the acrylic on top looked and funky shaped next to the other nails. They were also super thick and dysfunctional. They also applied a lot of gel when they were putting these on. Again, I was charged right around almost $70 which is just ridiculous for a fill-in. Even for a full set that's a lot of money! Then within two days different fingernails had the gel lifting often coming away from the nails. The gel was literally coming off multiple nails, and within two weeks multiple nails were popping off. Decals came off shortly as well literally within 2 to 3 days the decals that I had on the nails, we're starting to come off. It's ridiculous when you spend this crazy high amount of money and are given garbage products on your nails. Charged for shaping when it's a fill-in, and you already had a shape, and they refuse to sit you with the person that you asked for. I will not be returning to this place, they are way overpriced and provide a garbage product that does not last. get my nails done all of the time and this is garbage. It's like getting a product made in China, it looks good at first, but it's cheap and it breaks quickly and you thought you were getting a a Prada bag because of the cost, but it was actually a frauda bag. what this place is like. read more

I've been to Bliss Nails on and off since its opening. I find it a clean and well maintained nail lounge with friendly staff and a lot of different polish selection and styles, but it's always very busy despite it's online appointment system and as a result, it really depends on what tech you get to determine the quality of the work, which can be problematic. Some visits with the experienced techs have gone great, but my last mani/pedi appointment I was paired with techs who I do not think had enough experience or were in a rush, leading to the situation. My gel manicure was applied so thickly on my natural nails that when I got the polish removed at another salon two weeks later, it took two different acetone soaks and a ton of filing to remove the polish resulting in now very fragile nails. Worse, though, was that during the pedicure, my big toenail was cut so short and badly that I am now dealing with a very painful ingrown toenail which has never happened to me before in years of getting pedicures, which leads me to be unable to recommend the shop as a whole and recommend that if you end up with one of the more experienced techs, to request them specifically for future appointments. Every new business absolutely can have growing pains, especially if the influx of customers outweighs the experience of the entirety of the staff, but a customer should not have to experience several weeks of pain from a pedicure. I want to note that an issue like a sloppily done pedicure causing an ingrown toenail is something that one cannot alert the staff to during or before check out like Bliss Nail's disclaimer of service insists you must do if you have a complaint. It's an issue that becomes apparent several days after the service as the nail begins to grow in. I would advise making sure to book one of the more experienced techs when visiting Bliss. There are good techs there with real artistry and experience and knowledge, but I feel like the constant stream of customers has perhaps led to staff overwhelm and some subpar work. And my feet unfortunately paid the price of that during my last (and final) visit. read more
