I was getting my nails done and noticed a young lady in tears getting her nails done. Apparently she had shown them the picture and they said yes they could do it. The technician couldn't ended up passing her off to another technician who also continued it not knowing what he was doing. The whole time having numerous employees walking by and looking at her while talking to each other in their own language . When she asked how much they said 65 she questioned them about it since they didn't end up not doing anything but a French manicure Because she was upset and just settled. They made rude remarks back to her and said she had wasted their time and product. I felt bad for her and I will never go their again after witnessing rude behavior and remarks towards customers. read more

My daughter and I came to get our nails done. We didn't make an appointment but walked in. I let them know we need two full sets. They had us sit down and we picked our colors. One of the gentlemen did my daughters nails and he did a great job! I loved that he even measured the nails against each other after he cut them to make sure they were even. I have powder dip nails and I love them. I broke a nail and needed to get them done and my regular nail person requires an appointment and is always booked about a week out. I called Bella Nails and they said that they could see me the same day and I made an appointment for 4:30. So for that I give them one star. My first impression wasn't very good. Lots of people milling about and loud patrons. Not very clean or inviting. I didn't feel very welcome and had to wait 20 mins before I got in the chair. My "technician" was not very good and my nails are bumpy with uneven color and sheen. They don't wrap your nails to remove the existing dip they put your hands in a bowl of acetone which got very hot and uncomfortable. He didn't shape them around the cuticle and the edges aren't done nicely. read more

Got my nails done yesterday (5/4/21) not happy with how they were done or how they turned out. One of the men did my nails I was in for a fill and he drilled I hard and fast it was hot. Then when he was buffing my natural nail he had to much pressure and speed on the drill he drilled all the way through my natural nail to the skin down by the cuticle.then he applied the acrylic and did not blend them well. Then when he was smoothing them out with the drill he cut both my middle fingers. Not to mention they are not the same shape or size and there is acrylic on my skin. I'm sad this happened because one of the women did my first set two weeks ago and I loved them and they turned out just how I wanted. I don't think I'll be returning. read more

What a disappointment! I have been going to Bella Nails for several years now, though not on a regular basis as having a manicure & pedicure is a treat for me. I have been there quite a bit in the last couple of months & had an appointment with a wonderful technician at 9a.m. I walked in with several other people who were already complaining about being double booked & at the time there was only the technician & owner. I was told @&$? was not there today. I said I just want to get the "stuff" off my nails since they were obviously understaffed for the crowd. I didn't want to burden them and I would have gone back later. However the technician that soaked my nails for 20 minutes , then grinded the top coat off, soaked them for another 20 minutes asked me if I wanted a manicure. I said yes I'd love to have my nails in a clear regular polish so they could repair. Another technician grinded the last of the polish off. It was a process as I had my nails done there 2 weeks ago in powder that came out streaked, so a gel was applied on top off that. Today the owner walked by, pointed at me and said something not in English. I said something about the manicure and I could hear the owner in the other room saying I said I just wanted the stuff off, which is true. The technician said she says no manicure for you. Nice! I told the owner, you know I had an appointment with @&$? and she said you didn't ask for her when you came in yesterday, she said you only said Rebecca. I actually made my appointment in person yesterday and I did ask for @&$?. I said my nails are damaged and I would have liked to gotten a clear polish on them. I asked how much for the removal, was told $10. I paid, gave the technician $5 for working so hard getting the "stuff" off my nails. I did say to the owner it would have been nice to have gotten a call that @&$? was not going to be there. She definitely needs to know the HIPPA laws, cuz she said what @&$? was absent with in front of a room full of people. read more

Well I guess that I found the absolute worst nail salon in Reading. This place is ridiculous. My nails were done so thin that they cracked a few days after having them filled. The salon is dirty and there's nothing spectacular at all. The people are rather rude. I should've known by the clientele that was in there getting their nails done that there would be a problem. I came in and paid for a nail fill and a pedicure and asked to have my eyebrows done. They put me in the middle of the room to wax my eyebrows! When the owner wiped my eyebrows she held up the cloth and laughed in front of everyone because I had make up on the cloth!!!Then she did a half assed did the waxing In the middle of the salon with absolutely no regard for privacy or cleanliness. Just as I was getting ready to leave I watched one of the nail technicians take the tools that were used for a pedicure on the person before, and began to use it on someone new without cleaning anything. I've been here a bunch of times and have had varying levels of service, but I will say my nails always look great and last. This morning, I was one of the first customers and got one of the best spa pedicures I have ever had. The scrub and the lotion massages felt amazing and my feet feel great. I think most of the negative reviews stem from trying to go when they're busy and not planning ahead. The new massage chairs for the pedicures are also pretty fantastic. Literally the worst nail job I have ever had. Charged me 26$ for a fill when their signs said it cost 20$ then they proceeded to argue with me saying it costs 26$. On top of that, I asked for a REGULAR polish fill and he handed me a sample of nail polishes. I chose two colors and he did them in GEL polish, charging me extra when i asked for REGULAR polish. Not to mention my nails came out completely unprofessional, the sides are bare and spotty with no polish. They're chunky and unsymmetrical with each nail uneven and crooked. I have nail polish smeared on my fingers and he pricked my finger with the tool twice, laughing it off instead of even offering an apology. The whole thing was rushed and he did not take his time AT ALL, I left with my fingers sore after how harsh he was.
