Excellent service. I got a manicure and pedicure and they must have spend at least 40 minutes massaging my legs, arms and neck. Make an appointment, they are busy and don't go if you are in a hurry. My mani/pedi took about two hours. I would highly recommend Queen Nails. Their prices are reasonable ($40 for the combo) and they really pamper you! Queen Nails is fantastic. I was in Raleigh for the weekend and found them here on Yelp. The reviews here are accurate. Excellent manicure, fantastic massage and paraffin dip and warm, friendly service. If I lived in Raleigh, I would be a regular customer - for sure. I travel a lot and have manicures all over the U.S., and they are, by far, the best manicure shop I have been to on the road. Staff was really friendly upon arrival and the salon is small but we'll decorated. They do a good job overall, but they were not as exact as others when painting my nails and they aren't as modern as other salons in the area with some of the technology. read more

I tried Queen Nails for the first time today! It was awesome! The staff are amazing!!!! Hi and Tiffany did my mani/pedi and they were especially attentive to assure that I felt extra pampered! The shoulder massage during the mani was an extra added plus and the foot and leg massage....awesome!!! ...and I just got the regular mani/pedi! I love Queen Nails. Awesome service, friendly staff. I haven't compared prices because I have no reason to look for another salon after discovering this one in 2012. My nails always look great and they always take time to do a great job. I got a pedicure and a manicure with shellac the last time I went, they have some new products with the pedicure that were great! Still finish with the paraffin wax on both feet and hands. read more

I chose to come here based on the great reviews, but my experience was not the same as the other reviews. I called ahead for my appointment, showed up on time, waited 10 minutes up front, and then had to wait another 20 minutes in the pedicure chair. It took almost 2 hours for a mani and pedi. All of the chairs and supplies looked old and in disrepair. The pedicure chair was old and broken. The massage remote wasn't even there and the massage knobs were stuck lopsided. The mani and pedi were subpar and questionable as to their sanitation. I had to stop the tech from using an actual cheese grater (it still had the label with a slice of cheddar on it!) on my feet. They balked when I asked them to use a new file. The paraffin wax everyone has been raving about--they have you stick your hands in a communal crockpot. Gross. On top of all that, the polish on my manicure came out uneven. I gave a second star for this review because the polish on my pedicure looks good. read more

I received a Shellac manicure and was told it would last 2 weeks. FIVE DAYS later it was peeling off when I washed my hands. Went back on day 5 to have it "repaired" and it started peeling AGAIN on day 6! The worst part was I called to complain and the owner HUNG UP ON ME- TWICE! I wanted an appointment for them to soak the mess off my fingers and ended up doing it myself in a few minutes. Proof the Shellac polish was not applied properly. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUDE OWNER! Never again. read more

I didn't have a great experience. I came into the salon with sns on my nails and asked to have it removed and have my nails cut down so just gel polish. After starting the girl started to attempt to get the sns off my nails it was apparent that she didn't know what she was doing or how to remove the sns. Then She told me they don't do this kind of nails there and I politely told her I could go somewhere else and she said she was getting it off. I told her you have to soke them off like gel in asetone which she did but didn't wait long enough which made a mess. I left with sns all over my hands that they didn't try to remove. There was another girl that painted my nails the shapes of my nails are not the same even on the same hand in addition to that my gel chipped less than 4 hours after having it done which has never happened. It hasn't been a week and 4 of my nails are now chipped. I have been getting my nails done consistently for over 5 years, acrylic nails, gel and sns. I know what good nails look like as well as good service. The lady's are nice but if you have acrylic and want a change I would not recommend this place. read more

Everyone stared at us and it took an awkward bit of time before someone asked what service we came for. When I asked if they had any openings for pedicures they simply said "Maybe later." Went today last minute for mani pedi and from a northern who has lived in ny, NJ, CT this is the best mani pedi i ever had. They take their time, it 's not like a deli - grab a number, serve quick get out. They massage u for at least 10 min on legs and hands then back. It was 35 for a mani pedi with paraffin. I will def go back again and I have already told my other mommy friends. And they speak English! read more

This used to be my favorite place. I think the owner is overwhelmed and her staff doesn't take the business seriously and she doesn't properly manage them so they make mistakes with scheduling & are too busy talking to each other while on the phone scheduling appointments. 2 times I have shown up for my appointment and they had it down for another day. I am only in town 2 days a week so I know what days I can book. I hope this helps the owner to see that she can't carry the full weight of this place on her shoulders without the help of a stronger team of people working for her. read more

I got my nails done by Hi. She was very nice. Very receptive to my needs. But it took her about 5 minutes to get back to her station after she sat me down for my appointment. She also sort of rushed through the entire manicure... and she cut one of my fingers with the cuticle cutter. That spot is sore and cut and it hurts. The actual manicure itself turned out "eh". It was not great. For the price ($15) it was fine but really not worth the time or money. The nail fan (I don't know if all are made this way) is not constructed safely. The roof of the nail fan exposes all the wires and bulbs that make the fan work and I accidentally raised my hand too high inside the dryer and burned myself on one of the ultra violet bulbs... ow. In conclusion, I left with a cut cuticle on one hand and a burn on the other... wonderful. read more

I got a shellac manicure, and it still looks fantastic 15 days later! I chipped the polish for the first time last night. If my nails hadn't grown so much, I wouldn't even need to get them redone just yet. I have been to other nail salons, and this one is the best, by far. I went on a weekday morning, and made the appointment a couple days in advance. To get the time/date you want, just make another appointment when you leave! I am now a loyal client. read more

I started going to Queen Nails almost 4 or 5 months ago because my co-worker recommended it. After experiencing the amazing service and quality from Rachel, I refuse to have my nails done anywhere else. I always have her do either a shellac polish change or manicure and she does a phenomenal job every time. She takes great care to make sure my nails look perfect. The only time I will ever go to a different salon is if I can't get an appointment for a pedicure and I need one really bad. Everyone that works there is so friendly and once you've gone a few times, they recognize you and greet you by name. Make sure you make your appointments and you will never be disappointed.
