Called in advance for an appointment. Came in a little earlier than scheduled and they took me right away. Even though they're operating outdoors, it's still a very nice environment. All the staffs were great. They were friendly and didn't talk much at all and just let me watch my movies. Definitely needed some peace and quiet time during these stressful days. My gel fill came out perfect. It was nicely shaped, no lumpy polishes, nice and thin, like how it should be. I can't wait to come back for other services! They also do facials and lashes. Their store is huge and there's plenty of parking in that plaza. They're pretty close to CSU Fullerton, perfect for college students as prices are reasonable and service is amazing. read more

Kim is also great with designs :) she's done my sister's acrylics before and they last for a very long time. You may need to call in for appointment to make sure she's available. LIZA is OUTSTANDING!!! Does not try to up sell you, doesn't ask you a million nosy questions so you can relax and enjoy your service. THE OWNER IS AWFUL. CHEAP! Never offers some coupons, updating of payment equipment, towels have holes, decor needs updating and an attitude adjustment is needed. And, from my observation, seems to be awful to the employees. Manicure was $13. The lady that did my nails didn't give me a massage. I was so over it because the majority of the employees talked the WHOLE time, to the point of yelling at each other! It was so rude and obnoxious. Don't go there if you plan on relaxing. I'm surprised I even tipped the lady. Go there if: #1 - You want to pay for a manicure that apparently doesn't include a massage. #2 - If you want to hear the employees talk and yell in their language (assuming Vietnamese). #3- If you don't want to relax. This was my 2nd time going there and now I remember why I never go. The only good thing I will say is my manicure did look good. This review is more customer service based. Absolutely the WORST!!!! first of all the the girls here are rude and very disrepectful! I chose a nail color and when i told the girl that the color I picked out didn't match what was now on my nails, she said, "Everyone nail is different and color come out different!" I also showed her how she cut my cuticles all over and i was bleeding and she said, that's normal! Are you kidding me! When the manager came over, she told the girl to get me some neosporin! My nails looked like a 5 year old painted them! And for the other girls who are not working on customers nails, You shouldn't be stuffing your faces with food! It was pretty disgusting to see someone with their mouth full of food as they screamed for the next customer to sit down! I'm going to also file a report with the health department since i witnessed one of the nail girls take a dirty towel out of dirty laundry hamper and use it on a brand new customer to wipe her hands!!!! Recently moved to the area and wanted to find a good nail salon. This one was pretty close by so, I decided to try it. The lady who did my pedicure cut too much skin off around my cuticles that it left a big gash around my big toe's nail. (Maybe because she was very busy talking to others while working). The next day it hurt so bad I couldn't even walk. I had to walk around without putting pressure on my toe. To make matters worse, I just recently started a new job and had to explain to all my new co-workers why I was wearing open toed shoes to the work place. It hurt to even wear shoes! I'm sure this one experience is not reflective of all the girls who work there but, hopefully you don't get the same pedicure girl I did! read more

Horrible!!! Forget the fact that the girl that did my pedicure was on the phone the entire time, when she realized I didn't want the deluxe pedicure she spent about 12 mins tops on me. The polish job was the worst. 45 second massage. When she went to get my credit card she was still on the phone and I almost didn't give a tip it was so bad and reflected on the girl who did it, but that is not my style. Will NEVER come back!! I went to get my nails done on Mother's Day, and it turned out horribly. I got a gel manicure with extensions, and it turned out looking like I attached silly putty to my nails. The shape is crooked, and the polish is applied very messy. When I first went in, only one of my hands were soaked in the warm water, and my nails were not properly taken care of. The cuticles were not cut and my nails were not filed, which is usually done at about every other nail salon I've been to. Aside from all the extras, the nail polish job in general is not flattering. The two stars are for the lady being friendly, but a lot of the time, she was talking on the phone. Definitely not going back! read more

I have been going to this place for 5 years. I agree that it is VERY IRRITATING that the women there are all yapping away in Vietnamese the whole time you are there. I get a headache just being in there. Before my nails are done I am ready to run away and be in SILENCE!! However, I am very picky and have found a girl, Christine, that does and AMAZING job. I never have to tell her what to do or how to do it. She knows exactly what I want and does a wonderful job. I give her 5 stars, but the place only gets 4 due to the annoying and unprofessional talking.... Also, the experience and outcome is 100% dependent on the person you get... It's true, this place is big, and there are a lot of workers and chairs. But that's the only really good thing about this place. What really turned me off about this place is that I wanted to get french tip nails (even though I have shorter nails). My manicurist kept saying that I shouldn't because it'll chip a lot. That I'll be back tomorrow wanting it fixed but I'll have to pay money to get it fixed. I felt forced to get a regular manicure, which really irritated me, since I had been set on a french tip (I had grown my own nails out for the last few weeks!!). True, I was a little too passive, and allowed her to talk me out of getting what I wanted, but I don't think her job was to talk anybody out of getting what they want. Her place was to simply suggest that it might not be what I wanted. The other thing that I didn't like, was that, for such a large place, there wasn't that much selection in nail polishes. My friend also got a pedicure and she said that the woman massaged her too hard. read more

EYE LASH EXTENSIONS ONLY: if i could give them 0 stars, i definitely would!! I usually get my eye lashes done in Fullerton (yoba lina) next door to golden spoon. But i just decided to try this new place in Brea which i HIGHLY REGRET. She glued my top and bottom eye lashes together and i PERSONALLY had to grab her scissors and then cut them apart!! I went back to my original lady and she removed everything off for me which took 2 hrs BC the queen nails lady used the WRONG eye lash glue. read more

The lady who did my acrylics was overly confident about her skills. She talked to another lady that worked there he whole time, and didn't often look down at my nails. I was cut several times - the spinning file is not something I want my nail tech taking her eyes off of ever again. She looked at me and smiled when I jumped from her cutting me. Strange response... It was very painful. There were several employees eating at the nail stations. The mix of their food smell and the smell of the nail supplies made me nauseous. There just was not enough ventilation. I'm not sure if it's a health safety violation to eat at the nail stations, but it didn't strike me as very sanitary or very professional. I'd really advise you to avoid this place. Go to T&T Nails across the street - they are very good. read more

I had asked for a silver glitter line underneath the white tip for extra decoration. however, the lady did it completely uneven and far from the white tip. then to top it off, she used a bright pink base coat that did not look natural or match my fair skin tone. my nails looked cheap and disgusting. i wish this photo depicted just how terrible my manicure looked in person. read more

I was desperate for a mani/pedi & chose this salon based on it's proximity to where I was at the time. I really should have checked Yelp first... I got seated fairly promptly. The spa chairs are nice. The salon itself is fairly clean. The woman who did my pedicure was fine - no complaints about her. She didn't talk much (to anyone, not just me) which is totally fine. The girl who did my manicure was really unfriendly & made me feel like I was putting her out because I needed a manicure. She walked up, said nothing, and just grabbed one of my hands & studied it intensely for about a minute. She carried on a full-fledged conversation with a woman across the salon for the duration of my manicure. She was laughing so hard at multiple points of the conversation that she completely stopped my manicure. Not exactly the most relaxing 30 minutes of my life. As far as the "looks" of my manicure & pedicure, they both look fine. We'll see how long it lasts. I won't be going back. read more

Unfortunately the reviews are true... Although very clean and nice looking... Service is mediocre unless you're a regular. I've had less expensive pedicures/ manicures for better quality as well. Mani lasted 2 days-- and the top coat turned bubbly after a few hours. Pedicure did last a week and a half. And I made the mistake of tipping (generously) before my manicure... so service afterwards just PLUMMETED. Will not return unless I am desperate. read more

I just had the worst experience at this nail salon. I am not one to complain or write negative reviews, but the service I received was a total let down. The woman who did my gel manicure was absolutely rude, she rushed during my mani, she told me my color choice was ugly, and the final product turned out horrible! I will not be coming back and I suggest you should never go here! It looks like a toddler, learning how to finger paint did my nails. Absolutely frustrating! Now a $25 mani turned into a $50 mani because I had to go somewhere else to get it fixed. I ended up going across the street to Cosmo Nail Bar and they were extremely nice, helpful, understanding and considerate. They fixed my nails and now my nails are flawless. So far I haven't had a bad experience here. Although my previous experiences were just mediocre, my last one was excellent! Pros: - They have many chairs and many nail artists ready to do work - They have this blue kind of jelly water that you soak your feet in and it feels magnificent - Price is very affordable ($22 for a french pedicure) - With the right person you will get wonderful service. I had Wendy (who happens to be Chinese as well), who always helps my mom and she was absolutely wonderful. She was so sweet and chatty it was a very nice experience. She gave my french pedicure an extra coat and even got rid of my calluses for me in a non-painful and non-ticklish way. Cons: - None! read more

My nails always look perfect and she is funny too. I've never once misunderstood her or felt like she hated working on me. I've been going to her for five years now and I will follow her anywhere.
