I have discussed my dissatisfaction with Quantum and Proactive claims with Renata, the owner of the company, as well as with the sales representative on my account. It is my belief that my experience should be shared publicly to raise awareness for new homeowners such as myself. Based on reviews found online, I put my trust in Quantum as a new homeowner and ended up very disappointed and dissatisfied with the services I received. A sales representative visited my home offering a free inspection of my roof/home since they were in the area handling insurance claims for a hail storm from a year ago. I should have followed my gut instinct and said no thank you. Instead I signed a contract that locks you in with them if your insurance claim is approved or, if you chose not to use Quantum as your contractor, you owe them a percentage of your insurance claim for filing on your behalf. Again, I thought I would be okay since there have been such good reviews online for them. I'm not sure where or why I seem to be the exception, but I did not have a great experience like comments and ratings suggest. The moment I signed the paperwork the communication with Proactive Claims and Quantum completely fell apart through the rest of the process. I was promised I would be part of the communication between my insurance company and Proactive. My insurance added me their email responses to Proactive, while proactive left me out of the original emails. When I asked for updates my emails where unanswered for weeks and phone calls were never made to explain the situation with me. I had to call the sales representative and the public adjuster on multiple occasions because I had no idea what was the status of my claim. The communication with the project manager was poor, he would schedule with me and when he didn't show up I had to call to ask if they were still coming. The crew installing my siding left without letting me know so I could check the work and they left nails all over my yard that I had to pick up myself. There's a part of my siding that does not lay flat and I was told someone would come out to assess this, which has not been done. It seems my insurance will not be covering everything they expected so it feels like they are done with me. When I discussed my concerns and dissatisfaction with the sales representative, I was given poor excuses and incorrect information rather than a solution to make sure I was a satisfied customer. When I spoke to the owner and expressed all of my concerns and the conversation with the sales representative, her explanation of the company's shortcomings made me feel heard and it was appreciated. I am still waiting for someone to assess the siding issue and make sure all nails have been removed from the ground as I am still finding them in my flower beds. I would not recommend Quantum Exteriors or Proactive claims. I have had multiple contractors work on my house over the first year with my house and they are in the top two worst experiences due to severe lack in communication, lack of clean up from the crew, misinformation I received when I had questions, and poor customer service response to complaints. I was told that this isn't how it usually goes and I truly hope that is true. It's unfortunate that this was my experience if that is the case, but I recommend others proceed with caution. read more
