We learned that the old windows were not even windows by today's standards, they were just huge panes of glass that gave no insulation. He measured the windows so quickly (like 2 minutes) that I wondered if the windows world 3 actually fit (they did!). The price was extremely reasonable; we had intended to get three estimates but my mom and I both lined Kris so much we decided to go with him right away. I chose a day for installation when Kris was going to be out of town on vacation so he let me decide if we wait to wait until he got back or if we wanted him to send his right hand man Daniel. We went with Daniel who showed up right on time on a cold morning. I thought removing the old badly cracked panes of glass would be very difficult. I was right but they got the old ones out quickly and the new ones in so fast and they finished about 30 minutes before their estimate. They only removed one window at a time and our house never got cold on a 33 degree day This was one of the best customer experiences for a project I have ever had. I chose EV Windows after asking CharGBT to find me a great window company with very good reviews and I'm so glad I did. I do not have one negative thing to say. Received a call from Claudia who left a voicemail stating to call back and ask for Agnes. We have called this Agnes person 8 times since receiving the voicemail from Claudia. Agnes is on the phone, out to lunch or gone for the day no matter the time we call. Despite having an overall good experience with the contractor, Climate Solutions has proved to be less than helpful in resolving an issue that is entirely their fault. This is not how customer service is supposed to be done.

Recently I went back to darpet and purchased 12 more doors to replace the rest of the hollow-body doors in my house. The second time around, I dealt with the same representative as the first time, Bryan. Bryan was helpful again in helping me determine the best size doors. Darpet is an enormous regional supplier but their office is nice and small and the representatives all seem very friendly. Like the first time, second time around we got delivery a week later and the doors all looked great. I recommend Darpet based on their prices, quality of doors, and great customer service.

I had a little bit of sticker shock from the first quote so decided this would be worth getting multiple quotes on. And Home Build was one of them due to their stellar Yelp reviews. I called them and they were able to send Oscar out right away. They told me to save 60 -90 min for the consultation, which seemed like a lot of time considering every other company just needed 5-10 min of my time. However, i was willing to invest the time for the right doors and right price. Oscar and i met for over an hour. He was super friendly and knowledgeable about all my door options. He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.
