Here's how they stood out: They had excellent communication. From Angelo's estimate all the way to passing inspection, they were on top of their game. The estimate had every combination of options listed with exactly what they were going to do and photos of the planned work. We were assigned a field supervisor (Justin, I believe?) who would come out on the same day to inspect any issues we brought up. Our contact with the office via Cindy and Anthony was also superb and always timely. The work was done swiftly and well. The roofers were done before I got back from work. Siding and gutters are more involved, but they did excellent there as well and Roman et al. were excellent to work with, took feedback very well (see communication above), and were very hard and efficient workers. All in all, we were done with our project long before other houses in the same subdivision who had all signed up with doorknocker companies, and they delivered a high level of quality. To be clear, their estimate was slightly higher (my gut says 10% higher, but it's been a while since I reviewed the proposals) than some other offers we received, but for the work that we were doing, level of customization, and communication, we wouldn't make a different choice. I'm usually not one to spend time getting a bunch of quotes and just rely on Yelp reviews to make a purchasing decision, but this was pricey enough purchase that i figured I should do my due diligence.' Siding & Windows Group was one of the 4 companies I had come out for a quote. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.

Max gave us a lot of good information on the best materials, sizing of the doors, etc. He recommended we go to the Pella showroom together to check out all the options, which was super helpful. Based on my experience with Max and Pella I was about to order doors thru them, but then got a quote that seemed quite high once they realized the doors would have to be a custom size and we would also have to customize for color (to match our other windows). I decided it was an expensive enough purchase that I should shop around some more and ended up going with another company. Overall, I found Max to be pretty responsive and knowledgeable when it came to doors/windows. While McCann didn't work for our needs this time they would be worth reaching out to for other window/door replacements in the future.

I spoke with the owner, and before even coming out, they took the time to explain how I could manually close and lock the garage that evening. The next day, they came over and installed an amazingly quiet Chamberlain Model B4505 (connected to my Wi-Fi). They also replaced the springs, pins, and rollers. I was shocked at how affordable the service was and how personable and professional the technicians were. Since then, I've accidentally disconnected the garage opener from my remotes a few times (due to adding new Wi-Fi and other reasons). Every time, they've been incredibly helpful. Last month, someone backed into my garage door, knocking out half the pins and bending the bottom panel. Within 24 hours, a technician came out and repaired everything for under $200 -- amazing service! Today, instead of charging me for a service call when I had another issue, Adam simply walked me through how to reset everything -- free of charge. I really like this company. They are honest, responsive, and care about their customers. For comparison, my friend had a similar issue with her garage opener but used one of the large national garage door companies. She ended up paying twice as much for a cheaper Chamberlain model -- they even wanted to charge extra for installing light bulbs! I realized there was an issue with my installation. I asked them to come take a look at the issue and the company was super vague on trying to help. They claimed "we have other customers and can come whenever they are in the area", without ANY SPECIFICS. This was just a poor follow-up to manage your existing customers. I am pretty sure my issue would take maybe 10 minutes but just seemed unreasonable they weren't able to check on something that they clearly misinstalled.

Follow-Up: 8 minutes after posting this review we received the estimate. $6000 for a bathroom window! In person at the time of estimate he said it would be about $2,000. The window is not a premium window. We looked up the brand, out of the 4 levels of windows, it is second from the bottom in quality. An estimate should include your bottom number of the work to be done. No thank you!

Dave responded quickly to evaluate the project, he was attentive to my concerns and what I needed, and he presented me with a range of quality and price options. Based on my research and competing quotes, the cost for my chosen option was reasonable. I wanted better windows and I knew they would take a while longer to manufacture. Unfortunately, we were up against a deadline with winter coming and weren't able to sneak the job in before the weather turned consistently bad. It was definitely worth waiting for though. Lester was quick to come out and give us a fair and reasonable quote. I didn't bother to contact any other companies for additional quotes.
