Not only do the new windows look sleek and modern, but the entire process was top-notch from start to finish. What really stood out to us was their honesty. While other companies tried to sell us on full-frame replacements, SHS actually advised us to go with insert replacements. They pointed out that our house has high-density older wood framing that was worth preserving. Following their advice preserved the character and strength of our home while saving us a significant amount of money. Their communication was excellent throughout the project, and the installation crew was fantastic: punctual, respectful, and meticulous about keeping the worksite clean. On top of that, their guarantee is rock-solid. I feel completely confident that this was a lifelong investment and that they will stand by their work if anything ever comes up down the road. If you're looking for high-quality window replacement with an honest team you can trust, highly recommend Scientific Home Services.

She said well he did run his magnet over your driveway, There's NO possible way he did with all the nails that were left and we also have 3 cameras that face our driveway 1 points straight down it one across it and the other the front and the only time it picked anyone up was when he was here picking up the big mess! I was hoping to repair them, but had a few companies come out (including McCann) and it appeared we need to fully replace them. McCann was the second company that came out and they sent Max. Max gave us a lot of good information on the best materials, sizing of the doors, etc. He recommended we go to the Pella showroom together to check out all the options, which was super helpful. Based on my experience with Max and Pella I was about to order doors thru them, but then got a quote that seemed quite high once they realized the doors would have to be a custom size and we would also have to customize for color (to match our other windows). I decided it was an expensive enough purchase that I should shop around some more and ended up going with another company. Overall, I found Max to be pretty responsive and knowledgeable when it came to doors/windows. While McCann didn't work for our needs this time they would be worth reaching out to for other window/door replacements in the future.

I carefully watched, during the install and was able to see the critical parts of the process that Gary had described to me. It was obvious that the installer was both knowledgeable and capable. He carried all the necessary tools and equipment in his truck and moved efficiently through the install process. Here's how they stood out: They had excellent communication. From Angelo's estimate all the way to passing inspection, they were on top of their game. The estimate had every combination of options listed with exactly what they were going to do and photos of the planned work. We were assigned a field supervisor (Justin, I believe?) who would come out on the same day to inspect any issues we brought up. Our contact with the office via Cindy and Anthony was also superb and always timely. The work was done swiftly and well. The roofers were done before I got back from work. Siding and gutters are more involved, but they did excellent there as well and Roman et al. were excellent to work with, took feedback very well (see communication above), and were very hard and efficient workers. All in all, we were done with our project long before other houses in the same subdivision who had all signed up with doorknocker companies, and they delivered a high level of quality. To be clear, their estimate was slightly higher (my gut says 10% higher, but it's been a while since I reviewed the proposals) than some other offers we received, but for the work that we were doing, level of customization, and communication, we wouldn't make a different choice. Absolutely a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Siding and Windows Group!

I'm usually not one to spend time getting a bunch of quotes and just rely on Yelp reviews to make a purchasing decision, but this was pricey enough purchase that i figured I should do my due diligence.' Siding & Windows Group was one of the 4 companies I had come out for a quote. We ended up with them for a few reasons: - Their quote was competitive - They were able to spray paint the interior trim with our existing paint color - They were able to match the exterior trim as closely as possible to our windows outside - Anthony at Siding & Windows Group was very responsive We placed the order on August 22nd, which is my bday. I can't say new doors was what i wanted for my bday, but i guess this is being a homeowner in your 40s. The new doors weren't installed until November 6th and we just hoped for no big storms and got lucky. Anthony checked in a few times on when they'd be installed and pushed it back a few days due to other projects. The actual installation took about a day, which wasn't too bad. A week later they came to spray paint, which honestly seemed like a much bigger project than installing the doors. That took 2 days and went smoothly, although there was a little confusion about them not knowing what color to paint, etc. It turned out beautifully and while the doors look very similar to our old doors I like the look of these even better. The exterior finish isn't a perfect match, but i think a big part of that is our old paint on our windows as faded. One day we'll touch it all up, but for now we're looking forward to a break in paying for anything for the house. I learned there are a lot of companies in the area for new windows/doors, but we were satisfied with this one and would use them again.

He brought along a presentation (via his ipad), as well as materials so we got it all done within that hour. The other companies took a lot less, but resulted in a few trips to my house and lots of back and forth via email. I honestly probably prefer the latter since less time all at once. In the end I went with a different company due to price, but thought this company offered a good product at competitive pricing so would be worth looking into them.

Ordering windows took a few weeks and teams on install day moved swiftly and kept the area clean after! I also want to note that we live on the 3rd floor of a condo building and many contractors said they could not install and/or needed additional materials, external infrastructure and costs to do the project, but Jacob made it seamless with bringing windows up the stairs, and doing an internal install, which incurred no extra install costs. This was also great as it did not impact our neighbors and kept the project contained and clean. Jacob really cares about being transparent and has earned our trust, and I would 100% recommend him and his team to anyone looking to install new windows in their home. Overall, we really highly recommend Jacobs 1 Construction! I cannot say enough great things about the quality of their work, competitive pricing, and their dedication to their customers.
