Kyle is amazing, if you are looking for shades stop looking and get on his list because in my opinion you will never find a better shade company. He is honest, informative patient experienced and in my opiinion was made to be a shade contractor. He is all of those things and more. My wife was loosing her sight and we called his company. We needed some one who was going to help us with our problems and he did muuh more than we expected. He was about half done in our living room whem my wife noticed a bit of light that was bothering her, we did not say anything because he did everything that he said he was going to do. We had a fantastic experience getting blinds and shades throughout our house, including 8 window treatments across 5 rooms, purchased and installed by Kyle from Superior View. First, he patiently came to our home multiple times so that we could ensure we got exactly the colors that we wanted. He measured all of our windows carefully and provided a clear and detailed quote at a good price compared to competitors. The treatments arrived on time, and he came back himself to install them. All of the treatments looked good, but two of the eight were not quite perfect. Kyle seamlessly handled the entire process of filing a claim with the supplier, getting those two treatments replaced, and coming back to install them free of charge. Invited Kyle into my home after reading all the great reviews. Kyle was through and offered many options. The issue began the next day when I was contacted and told certain windows would need a pricey upgrade . I asked why this wasn't flagged when order was placed . Said I was not paying for a upgrade which I had also said when offered as a option durning our meeting. We spent 3 hours together and this issue should have been noted durning that time. The order included a $750 cash visa card from Hunter Douglas. Later in the day Kyle informed me he and Hunter Douglas were going to cover the $1650 upgrade to the operating system since it was their error. I asked to have this in writing to assure the change was for all windows etc. Received new contract and noticed the $750 cash card was now off the contract. So A) they wasted 3 hours of my time B) their software should have flagged this while order was written at my home ( keep in mind I was replacing HD shades with a HD . C) had i not asked for a re written contract I would have never seen this. SUPER ShADY they didn't cover it took the $750 cash card which is probably the cost of the $1640 issue. Companies who behave like this others need to know and avoid . Unprofessional unethical and trying to make a mistake act like they are covering THEIR mistake and then actually have customer pay for it... no wonder they want a large deposit so they can walk away from issues they cause with no responsibility. read more

Living in a high rise can be challenging and my windows are particularly tricky due to their size. I wanted a solution that maintains privacy whilst providing sufficient sunlight to let it feel like home and not a den. I struggled through many different blinds, curtains and even tinted solution all to no avail. That is until I met Kyle and he recommended reverse blinds, I was a bit confused but they allow light to pour in from the top whilst keeping privacy for the onlookers from the main streets of Chicago. Plus he installed a motor for them that allows me to control them through a remote and an app!!! It's an amazing add to my smart home and I couldn't be more thankful!!! Kyle is the man!!! We purchased blinds and shutters from superior view that are of reasonable quality and durability. HOWEVER, the installation was of the poorest quality, and the colors of the blinds in 1 of 3 areas was not correct. *warning* in the contract you will notice that once the blinds are "purchased and cut" there are no refunds. BE CAREFUL that what you order is what you get. Superior view will hide behind the contract that the materials were delivered and installed "best of ability". Whatever. This just means if superior view orders the completely wrong item/color/size for you, you're toast. It's a very odd way to do business. Even if you look at some of the positive reviews on Yelp, part of the poor installation story is revealed in a couple of reviews that mention the installer needed to come back out for "adjustments" after installation. hmmmmm. Here's the story: Part 1: Each of the "plantation" shutters we ordered was installed with "finishing nails" from a nail gun, which left cracks and holes in our property as well as the shutters themselves, with one having fallen off almost immediately. (Pics attached). Part 2: The blinds we had installed on the basement windows, which have a pull-in feature, were installed inside the window frame thus making it impossible to open the windows causing a fire hazard. When brought to superior views attention, Superior view said that we were *warned* about this and were OK with it. LOL, ya right. Sounds like an agreement parents with young kids would make right? The only fix or "adjustment" here is for superior view to buy and install new blinds of the right size outside the frame, which they refused to do (I think they said this was "Unacceptable"), most likely because superior view would have to eat the cost (picture attached). Part 3: the bedroom blinds that were installed were actually installed backwards, which was most likely done on purpose because the RIGHT SIDE color purchased was not correct, but the back of the blind was a closer match to the wall. Smart, right? Sure, we could have continued to work with superior, but they are aggressive, attempted intimidation, and defensive ("best of ability" LOL) and incompetent (see fire hazard) so we have had to repurchase window fashions...and because of this experience went with a known popular vendor. Lastly, if you don't believe this review, guess what? We have had 2 reputable dealers some out to look at our busted set up, and each of them was aghast with the installation quality. One so much so that they gave us a letter, with official letterhead, of what they saw. Good luck! read more

I was having issue with the old Qmotion motorized shade in my condo that the previous owner installed. Having no luck finding the original dealer, I messaged several businesses on Yelp and Kyle was the only one who responded with a yes, even though he didn't install the shades.
