We stopped here for lunch and we were not disappointed. We had been here before with friends and we always had a good meal. Our server had a very thick Chinese accent and he was very rushed and curt....but he came when needed and he was quick. I got the L8 Lunch special with brown rice (even though it is not spelled out on the menu, they do offer that as a side option) and my husband got th L34 Lunch special. The boneless ribs on both of our meals were fresh and delicious. My chicken chop suey was light (I ordered with low sauce/low sodium) and it was perfect for me. We've been coming to your North Attleboro restaurant since it opened in 03. My last 2 experiences have me writing this. Both visits were late lunches, around 2 PM. I normally get Sashimi of some sort, yesterday was a sushi day order N1. Over the years your food and its presentation were always spot on....its lost something. The fish on the sushi had definitely been sitting, there was no shine or "wetness" to the surface. Your Miso was good as usual, My wife's Vegetarian plate was not great...taste was not your usual.Service was one young man who was doing everything, he was taking care of at least 5 tables. It was a long wait for drinks, the meal and the check....but not his fault. I hope you folks get better you were my favorite for the style of cooking, service and the experience. read more

We usually go here once or twice a year. It is usually a pleasant experience but our most recent experience was the opposite of pleasant. We went here for lunch today and the server was extremely overbearing. It seemed like he was looking for money. He greeted us with "Is it only two of you?" and when we said yes, he started trying to push mai tais on us. I ordered a drink (not a mai tai) and my husband ordered tea, and the server said to him "You're not going to order an alcohol drink?" My husband only wanted tea because he doesn't drink, plus we both find it inappropriate for a server to push alcohol. When I ordered food for us to share, the server said to my husband "What are you having?" When my husband said I had ordered the food for both of us, the server tried to push more food on us. My husband told him we only wanted what we had ordered. When we were finally done and had paid and my husband signed the card slip, the server came back and told my husband he couldn't read the numbers in the total (implying my husband had tipped incorrectly). There was no problem with the food or drinks but the server was a jerk and he made our experience extremely unpleasant. read more

We usually choose Quan's as our local spot, but definitely not after tonight. My husband ordered sushi and suddenly spit out a piece because a STAPLE was rolled inside the avocado! I've never witnessed something so dangerous at a food establishment. Luckily we aren't spending the night in the ER, but rather disgusted that the employees at Quan's insisted they couldn't offer a refund but rather a "credit" that will be honored when we call for our next order. As if (a) I'll ever be ordering from here again and (b) a refund "isn't possible" when I've received a refund here before when they accidentally charged my cc twice. This situation was BEYOND dangerous and I'd urge everyone to be careful eating anything from here. read more

We were very disappointed in our visit last night! The food was terrible! The sesame beef was rubbery and under cooked, the boneless spareribs were fatty and under cooked, the chicken fried rice was bland and greasy! As a relatively new resident in the area finding a go-to Asian food restaurant is on my must do list. Quan's was my first stop on the journey. The food quality was 4 star worthy. It had tasty sauce and the Szechuan chicken was pretty good. My only complaint was they simply sprinkled a handful of peanuts on top instead of mixing it throughout. The Mongolian chicken had huge slices of chicken that could have been smaller and a little more cooked - it was a bit soft and hard to cut. Otherwise, the flavor and vegetables were good. What was disappointing was that when I ordered the two meals and asked about rice since she didn't mention it I was told rice was sold separately. That was a bit odd to me as it is atypical and especially considering the pricing. So I ordered rice and paid $50. As I waited for my order I kept perusing the menu and noticed they had many combo dishes, including one I ordered, that included rice. Good service would have been to suggest that to me when I questioned that rice wasn't included. In fact, I would have also spent $20 less to get the food plus rice rather than the a la carte method I ended up taking. Oh well, lesson learned, and my quest continues... read more

Always service with a smile, wonderful hot fresh food,accommodating staff. When something needed to be corrected the staff was right on point. We travel here atleast once a month. I would rather travel then settle going to other establishments closer to us that have disappointed time and time again. They call this fine dinning Chinese food. I think not! It was the most average American Chinese I've ever had. And everything is over priced! The best thing my wife and I had was the wonton soup. My wife had the Pork Egg Foo Young. I'd much rather go to the small take out place down the street from us. I had the Shrimp with Lobster Sauce. The shrimp were very rubbery we both did not eat much of our meals. So we asked for to go boxes. They were cheap styrofoam boxes they didn't staple them or put any tape and of course my dish was all over the bag when we got home. Waitress was adequate but somewhat condescending when we ask questions about the menu menu as far as the ambience goes you know it's a nice looking place but my wife and I talked about it you know for those prices you gotta do better than nice silverware and plates. Food trickled out at a pace that would have frustrated a sloth. Almost an hour after arriving we finally through in the white flag. This restaurant in Attleboro was highly recommended by friends. Upon arriving we were pleasantly greeted by the bartender happily smiling. The restaurant has a nice quiet ambiance and it's very clean. Menu choices are great in number and diverse. The restrooms were immaculate. Our dining experience was dampened a bit by the stoic waitress. Hard to get her to smile. She was all business. She was efficient no doubt and stayed in touch with us as food came to the table. We ordered several appetizers. Miso soup, edamame, avocado salad and crab Rangoon these were my husband's meal. I chose a chef special fried jumbo shrimp on creamy corn sauce with crispy walnuts. The appetizers were all tasty. My chef special was not very special in taste. It looked lovely. The shrimp were jumbo and fresh but the coating was no longer crisp nor were the walnuts which tasted old and stale. The sweet creamy corn sauce was where? Saturday date night. Service was impeccable. Sushi was plentiful and the maki rolls are larger than in other places. Appetizers were crab Rangoon and beef saté (pic), which was super tender. I only had the beef and it's delicious when dipped in the spicy peanut sauce. Yum! For an entree, I had the shrimp Hu Yiang style (not sure of spelling). So spicy and sumptuous. Honestly, does it get any better then this restaurant for Asian cuisine? I always sit in the bar area and the bartender Daniel is great. Great service and great food at reasonable prices for the quality. It costs about 10%-20% more than your average Chinese restaurant, but totally worth it. I've been there a bunch of times, but this last one we tried a few different sushi items and as usual they were great. The best item on their menu is the barbecue spare ribs ON THE BONE. A must have!!! Perfect meal there, BBQ spareribs, spicy tuna roll, and a Zombie to drink. Enjoy, you can't lose at this place. read more
