Had a great meal here recently. Our waitress and Hibachi chef were awesome. Always a fun time.

Great spot for sushi, drinks, and hibachi. Good portions and everything is tasty. The hibachi chefs are very friendly and comical.

    Extra sauce to go

Food was delicious & cooked perfectly to everyone in my party's request. They were able to substitute miso soup for the mushroom soup. When we went to pack up the leftovers asked for a to go container for the ginger steak sauce & was given several! The only issue we had was it was uncomfortably hot in the hibachi room. At least 8-10 degrees warmer than by the bar & entryway. We asked our server if they could put some air on & they responded "I wish they could but they won't." We may have stayed for more drinks & dessert but we were all sweating & needed to cool off.

I came here for dinner with humble expectations ( it's not NYC). I was very surprised on how great the sushi was !! The decor is low key with friendly service . We ordered some tempura ( amazing ) , sushi , fried rice and dumplings . Everything was excellent !! Very broad menu and get the Godzilla roll !

I rate this a 4.6. Food is always banging here. Price is amazing for food quality. I love the beer types here. Great show from chef. Great starters and food comes out fast. Chef does make some weird comments like how I'm going to conceive a child with my lady after dinner. Most of the time it's very funny and I just smile and laugh awkwardly. #BangForYourBuck

The ambiance is beautiful and loud enough for laugher and private conversations. Great place for lunch, dinner some sushi tasting and hibachi. The place is HUGE separating regular restaurants from the hibachi area. The airers were super nice, attentive, and did not invade our space constantly. Our hibachi chef was hilarious and catered to our requests. Definitely going back and bringing friends

Hibachi? Yes please! Easy reservation over the phone. When we arrived, they were ready for us! Our hibachi master was engaging. He was great with kids (and adults!) It was my daughters first real time at Hibachi (before she was too young to remember.) She LOVED it! I did a combo filet and chicken. She had a kids chicken. I shared with her. Portions- plenty for leftover! The filet, extremely taste. Almost melted in my mouth. I recently went to another hibachi restaurant and their filet just wasn't as good as Ichigo's! The decor is hip, stimulating and eye catching. Bubbles floating up and down trapped in water walls that change colors. It's dark so the color change is even more stimulating. Overall this place makes me feel good spending a decent amount on dinner because it's a whole experience. My only nay, my son spilled my drink. I alerted staff as there was a puddle on the floor and we were in a walkway area. It sat on the floor for at least 15 minutes before it was cleaned up. Two additional staff members approached me to alert me of the puddle but they were in no rush o clean it even just for peoples safety. ??? They were kind enough to replenish my drink.

    The show must go on!

I've visited Ichigo twice recently, both times with a reservation for two at the hibachi tables. The first time, the place was packed and, even with a rez, we were forced to stand in a cramped lobby for 30 minutes beyond our time. We checked in several times and were finally seated, but only after the host disappeared twice and returned looking flummoxed. Eventually, we were told to follow him as he practically ran thru the maze of crowded rooms and hibachi tables, losing us in the process. We caught up to him and he indicated two vacant corner seats at a table already seating six people. We practically had to climb and crawl over extra seats and a baby carrier to get to our chairs. The rest of the table had apparently been seated for some time, as drink and app orders had already been taken. We were late to the party. Luckily, the rest of the table was super friendly and welcoming. We quickly ordered cocktails and skipped the apps, since the dinner show was about to begin. The theatrics of our chef were entertaining and fun. But it felt rushed and impersonal. The party with whom we were seated were celebrating 4 years Cancer-free for one among them, which would have created a wonderful atmosphere, had the chef interacted more personally with his audience. But he stuck to his script of the obligatory shooting of saki into mouths around the table and making a lot of noise with his cleavers. The food was actually pretty amazing. We both ordered the chicken. Everything was fresh, piping hot and well seasoned. The chef disappeared the second the cooking was complete. Nobody ever came to take a second drink order. Instead, to-go containers and checks were dispersed, indicating that it was time to shuffle off to Buffalo so the next party could be seated. The second visit was better, maybe because it was less crowded. We were seated on time, again a party of two sharing a table with a few other small parties. This time we were able to order a sushi app. My date is faint of heart when it comes to raw things, so we settled on the California roll, which was delicious. This time, I tried the salmon dinner option, which was amazingly delicious. Again, I had a doggy bag. Also again, the chef's performance felt scripted and rushed. There were young children at the table so there was less saki shooting, even though he did have water to shoot at the kiddos. It was fun, but I was once again left with the feeling that it could've been so much better. The food was worth the trip, at least. The place is very beautiful and there is a nice bar area. I'd like to return and sit there, just to try some different sushi options. Maybe then I'll get offered a second drink.

I haven't been to this Pokemoto for quite some time, but the quality and generous portions are…read morestill there! My favorite thing to get is a "build your own bowl," which I load up with fix-ins and toppings to complement the raw fish kick. The staff here are very friendly - the young man and woman are always working hard, and it's really awesome that they can always greet customers with such enthusiasm. If you're timid about building your own poké, they have signature bowls you can choose from on their menu. The large bowl is extremely filling, and they don't skimp on the protein scoops. Generally, I mix tuna, salmon and shrimp on sushi rice. Cucumber, mango, jalapeños and edamame are a must in terms of adding color and more flavor to the bowl. Green onions, pickled ginger, masago and kani salad are awesome to top off the bowl, and avocado when I want to splurge. The chojang sauce is my favorite one to toss everything together, and wonton crisps and shredded nori will forever be my go-to crunchy toppings. So there you have my custom bowl - not to sound biased, but I think you'll love it if you try it. The service is excellent - I've never had a problem with my order. The team members take their time, and the hospitality is great. They're happy to explain menu items or offer new suggestions, which I really appreciate as an indecisive but particular person. I commend them for holding down the fort and serving clients - very impressive, and I can only imagine switching between making drinks and building bowls. Speaking of, I appreciate how they have Loose Leaf, the boba shop, inside Pokemoto as well to fuel the bubble tea cravings. Everything here (and there) is high quality (stay tuned for my Loose Leaf review), and I enjoy the matchacado smoothie with boba a lot. I'm a wee bit worried about cleanliness in the dining areas at times, but it's not the end of the world (a napkin would do), and the recent times I've grabbed something from Pokemoto, I've taken it to go. I understand the establishment is more fast casual, and it can be tough to keep up at times - this is more of a reflection on past patrons who may not see the line of crumbs or utensil sleeves they leave behind. Overall, I love this location - ample parking and seating. I think it would also be nice to have seats for solo visitors and couples (at times I feel bad occupying a booth that could fit at least six people) - it would be cool if the boba shop was set up cafe style for longer stays (will gladly order 3 matchacados in one "WFH" session).

This place has gone up in price and lowered the amount of food you get. My husband picked up my…read morepoke bowl order and when I get home, I see that it's missing a few toppings I wanted. Would've been nice if they let me know so I could substitute it with something else. Another bowl we ordered, looked so empty! The amount of food was so pathetic that I was pissed that it cost $16+. We only ordered cuz we were in the area but never again. Used to drive here but not worth it.
