I haven't been to this Pokemoto for quite some time, but the quality and generous portions are still there! My favorite thing to get is a "build your own bowl," which I load up with fix-ins and toppings to complement the raw fish kick. The staff here are very friendly - the young man and woman are always working hard, and it's really awesome that they can always greet customers with such enthusiasm. If you're timid about building your own poké, they have signature bowls you can choose from on their menu. The large bowl is extremely filling, and they don't skimp on the protein scoops. Generally, I mix tuna, salmon and shrimp on sushi rice. Cucumber, mango, jalapeños and edamame are a must in terms of adding color and more flavor to the bowl. Green onions, pickled ginger, masago and kani salad are awesome to top off the bowl, and avocado when I want to splurge. The chojang sauce is my favorite one to toss everything together, and wonton crisps and shredded nori will forever be my go-to crunchy toppings. So there you have my custom bowl - not to sound biased, but I think you'll love it if you try it. The service is excellent - I've never had a problem with my order. The team members take their time, and the hospitality is great. They're happy to explain menu items or offer new suggestions, which I really appreciate as an indecisive but particular person. I commend them for holding down the fort and serving clients - very impressive, and I can only imagine switching between making drinks and building bowls. Speaking of, I appreciate how they have Loose Leaf, the boba shop, inside Pokemoto as well to fuel the bubble tea cravings. Everything here (and there) is high quality (stay tuned for my Loose Leaf review), and I enjoy the matchacado smoothie with boba a lot. I'm a wee bit worried about cleanliness in the dining areas at times, but it's not the end of the world (a napkin would do), and the recent times I've grabbed something from Pokemoto, I've taken it to go. I understand the establishment is more fast casual, and it can be tough to keep up at times - this is more of a reflection on past patrons who may not see the line of crumbs or utensil sleeves they leave behind. Overall, I love this location - ample parking and seating. I think it would also be nice to have seats for solo visitors and couples (at times I feel bad occupying a booth that could fit at least six people) - it would be cool if the boba shop was set up cafe style for longer stays (will gladly order 3 matchacados in one "WFH" session). read more

This place has gone up in price and lowered the amount of food you get. My husband picked up my poke bowl order and when I get home, I see that it's missing a few toppings I wanted. Would've been nice if they let me know so I could substitute it with something else. Another bowl we ordered, looked so empty! The amount of food was so pathetic that I was pissed that it cost $16+. An amazing alternative to the other fast food/grab and go options in the area! I love that you can make your own bowl/salad (Chipotle style). You start with a rice base and add on your proteins, toppings, etc. My bowl was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. The only downside is they seemed to be out of several things and it was not even noon yet. No edamame, a bunch of sauces out of stock. We paid for water bottles only to be told they were out and given cups of tap water instead. The disappointments were more than made up for by the quality of the food though! Sometimes we are wild and crazy and spring for a Hong Kong milk tea with bulboa. We decided to pay the 7 plus dollars as a splurge. Seemed empty...one girl being served. Ten mins later she leaves with two cups with half filled with bulboa .... wow that's what I'm talking about!!! We order and people start coming in....the girl with all the bolboa comes back cuz he forgot the tea. He spends ten mins fixing her drinks. The guy at the counter spends a long time on the phone finding out how to make the drinks....20 mins later we get our drink....with like no Balboa in it...he gave it all to the girl who called him sweety. Took another fifteen mins to get our money back...very sad. Other times have been fine...the kid was not trained and was all alone. Wasted an hour of my precious Saturday on this experience...maybe compensation was in order. read more

Love this addition to Franklin. It's been opened for poke bowls and we love the fresh ingredients. The owners are really sweet and welcoming. The staff is always nice and able to answer all questions asked. My kids love their dole whip. They love making their own choices for toppings and whatever they want in their poke bowls. They just recently added LooseLeaf boba tea in the shop and it is amazing! The loose leaf tea flavors were exactly what my picky husband likes. You can select the sugar level as well as ice level. When it comes to authentic boba drinks, it comes down to the tea flavors. There are many choices and honestly, perfect for a family with different tastes We all got different drinks and the barista was super amazing when he saw my daughter make a face with her drink, he took it back and made it perfect for her. Great place for a quick lunch. I have to give a shout out to their team today. I placed an order via the website and received my confirmation text. As I was leaving I received another stating they were backed up and my order would be delayed by 30 mins. Typically wouldn't be an issue except I had a conference call to get to and this would have made me very late. I called to cancel, again wouldn't have been a big deal, but the manager jumped on the phone and said they would get it done. I walked in and my order was ready. Great job by the team there today. It was an B grade poke rice bowl. My first time being here, ordering for take out. Bar looks new and clean. No line at 11:30 am on a Saturday. Ordered two types of protein: ahi tuna and salmon With white sushi rice and toppings included seaweed salad, sesame, daikon radish pickle, scallions, crushed fried garlic or shallots, cucumber, dried Nori, etc. Sauce was wasibi and ponzu mixed together. The staff mixed in everything for me and was done in 5 mins from ordering to paying. Pretty good and efficient. I think a scoop of toppings are not enough. The rice portion is huge as compare to the toppings. I ate most of the toppings and left a lot of rice behind. Fish was ok.... Not too flavorful. Didn't like the creamy wasibi sauce! Ponzu was ok. Claiming to be Hawaiian Poke, but it's all standard mainland haole poke bowls. No option for a real kine shoyu poke, or spicy ahi, let alone no tako available. Oh how I miss Foodland. Now let's talk about the SPAM musubi. Not bad, but definitely not good either. It had a smoky taste to it that really threw me off. Having eaten musubi from nearly ever gas station on Maui and half of them on Oahu, this was the strangest musubi I've had. Just what Franklin needs! Super excited to have made it for their grand opening for a BOGO special. I was able to grab take-out bowls in under 5 minutes. The service was super friendly and since it was my first time there they were kind enough to explain the ordering process and the full array of options. You can order a bowl, a burrito, or a salad. I made my own ahi tuna rice bowl and all of the ingredients were super fresh from the tuna to the vegetables and toppings. It is $11.95 for a regular bowl without adding any extras. Overall, it was a great experience and I can't wait to try more of the menu soon! read more

We love Pokemoto's brown rice poke bowls. You can select one of their signature bowls or opt to create your own. You can choose as many mix ins, toppings, and sauces as you'd like. The options for toppings are plentiful and add great flavor including seaweed and crab salad at no extra charge. The only critique would be that they go heavy on the rice, but despite the rice to topping ratio, we are regular customers. read more

So when I found out about this place, I was thrilled to have a healthier option around. Have ordered perhaps 6 times so far. It's getting three stars for a number of reasons; as others have said, portions are all over the place, especially the protein, and though I always order Large size, sometimes the amount of fish is anemic. Next would be lack of a dedicated app combined with me calling to put in an order and waiting 7 minutes while the phone was just left on a counter so I heard all of the wonderful banging and talking to other customers while I guessed if they had forgotten me. Last was trying to call corporate customer service - they don't offer a phone number or email, and simply never responded to their website inquiry form. Got the sushi burrito and man, it was filling and good! They don't have spicy salmon or spicy tuna, but they have sauces to add to make it spicy. There were many toppings and additions you could add to a bowl or burrito. I give it a 4 because of the workers, the worker I had who made my bowl made me feel judged because I really like a lot of toppings in my bowl. She turned around and whispered something to her coworker and they started laughing. I may be overreacting but I felt like she was saying something about the amount of food I added to my burrito. Yum - this was almost 5 stars but I placed an order for takeout and drove over to get it. On my way, I got a call that the dole whip machine was broken. Nooooooooooo. I would have moved my order to North Attleboro if I had known this when I called. So disappointing. The bowls were good but the broken machine really bummed me out when we were looking forward to it. It was $53 for 4 regular bowls and a side of brown rice. We tried the sweet and spicy shrimp, hawaiian, and sesame ginger chicken bowls. The Hawaiian was spicy and delicious, the sesame ginger were good but the guys wished it was spicer. I will definitely change the order next time to make it spicier. Better than expected! The place is nice and clean with appropriate floor markings to keep people physically distant. Ordered 2 build-your-own bowls because there were limited pre-set specials on the menu that didn't sound super enticing at the moment. I went with the Pokemoto chojang sauce which was spicy and delicious. It would be even better if the menu provided descriptions of the sauces but the lady who took our order were very nice and knowledgeable and willing to answer our questions. Portion size for the large looked deceivingly small since it wasn't filled to the brim but I couldn't finish the whole thing in one sitting. Will be back for sure. read more
