    Build your own poke bowl
    Victoria N.

A little on the pricier side, but essily the best poke bowl in the area and surrounding towns, way better than some sushi restaurants and always super fresh with big chunks of veggies and fish! I used to only get poke bowls from Hao's in Foxboro but they've since kinda tasted less fresh, but Poke Bowl is way, way better and one build your own poke bowl lasts me two meals worth. Other nearby poke bowl only places like poke bros or poke works don't even compare.

As soon as you walk in, you are in the battle of the drums between the Kumasi and the Djembe. So loud I couldn't think . I did ask to turn it down a few times, in the middle of my meal the Chef said I could eat outside. On that note I ordered way too much. The fried chicken was delicious !! Not greasy at all. But huge, sorry today I ordered two thighs that were the size of one large breast. A little condiment of shaved coconut and chive was on the side. Any sides were à la carte. I did try the " Cabbage Salad" that had a nice flavor, but was overdressed and is mostly iceberg lettuce, and rice with surprisingly sticky rice , so it was kind of yummy. The chicken came with one sauce I got the curry. It was divine.. & my friend got the chicken bites and some kind of mayo. I was going to leave a five star review because the food was that good however, on the receipt they charged $.92 for the containers and eating utensils. I'm disheartened because if they offered an alternative like a plate and regular silverware, I could see not adding it into their cost. If I refuse to pay for the containers, how would I eat it on that note the chef was nice enough to me to have me try a couple of items that I didn't have to pay for. Which I greatly appreciated and that is why I'm leaving such a nice review. I do recommend eating here, but take it home. Or call for delivery, they have their own AP. PS great smoothie's !!!

I was in that area, driving from one point to another. I wanted to pick up something really quick…read moreon the way. I decided to order Spam Musubi (rice and spam), a Byte (mini fried chicken), and tapioca tea! My girl went into the store and had the food ready within 3 minutes, which is really awesome as we were in a hurry. However, we were really disappointed by what was inside that bag, as none of them were as good as we expected. 1) Spam Musubi's rice was lost in texture itself. It tasted like old rice. Yet spam was well not bad. We ate all of them. 2) bytes( mini fried chicken) they were overcooked. I attach the picture of it. So hard to chew and meat was nothing there. And I requested mayo but it was not there. But spicy sauce was with them instead in the box. The kids were complaining it was too spicy for mayo. 3) boba tea, I ordered with boba with extra fee. But it was not there just milk tea with brown suger. Later my girl who went to there to pick up, told me the server continued to speak to her even though my girl told to write down as she was deaf. Can't lipreading. Quite disappointed with the service and food.

Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5…read moreAmbiance: 5/5 Poke was pretty good! Nothing particularly special, but creamy miso sauce was delicious. Pretty standard poke portion, appears smaller than it is. Service was polite but not super friendly. Ambiance was very cute, reminded me a lot of Honolulu, and very clean overall. Well done for the atmosphere of the cuisine. Bonus points for bathroom being super clean. Parking easy, it's in a larger plaza with a big lot right out front. Loose Lead Boba available inside - boba was good but tea was a little watered down.

My sister and I have gone twice since they opened a few weeks ago. I am the kind of person that likes to eat raw fish over cooked fish and do not like sugar in my tea. Food&Drinks: the BYO poké bowls are my favorite. The fish is fresh enough that it doesn't smell fishy or oceany. The toppings are all delicious and fresh. Although, I wish it were a little bit more chilled when served. The sushi rice is a bit over cooked but still okay. Drinks are great! Haven't had a bad drink yet! My go to is the Iced Matcha and the A-Oolong tea w/ cheese foam. The strawberry matcha latte and drip coffee are also yummy! Service: staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They are slightly slow but that's what happens at every new store opening. Bare with them for the first few months! Atmosphere: very clean, including bathrooms. Cute store decor. Wish the fan wasn't sitting in front of the "wanna poké?" sign...still haven't been able to get an aesthetic photo of that wall! Very inviting! Overall: I treat places that sell raw fish very seriously, knowing how bad food poisoning can be. I really like pokemoto and looseleaf tea's concept. I also believe that if you haven't had raw fish or real tea before, this would be the place to start!

The restaurant was clean and well lit, with staff welcoming you as you walk in. All the ingredients looked fresh (and those I had I can say tastes fresh as well). Absolutely no fish smell or taste with either the tuna, salmon or shrimp. The tuna and salmon also can come plain, marinated (I presume soy sauce based) or spicy.

The service seemed fine and efficient, but can't really comment beyond that. The dining area was clean, spacious, and well lit. I ended up going with a signature bowl (Da Kine) since I just wanted something quick and my siblings got the spicy salmon in their custom bowls. I love when places actually have marinated fish as an option and their marinated tuna in addition to spicy salmon (actual cubes, not mush) were so flavorful even without the additional sauces. They do charge for quite a few premium ingredients since my siblings got custom bowls, but my signature bowl came with premium ingredients and for less in price. I'm taking a star off essentially for the portion size in my bowl, which was smaller than I expect for the price, but maybe it would have been better if I went with a custom bowl so I'd definitely come back to get that and see if it makes a difference.
