A little on the pricier side, but essily the best poke bowl in the area and surrounding towns, way better than some sushi restaurants and always super fresh with big chunks of veggies and fish! I used to only get poke bowls from Hao's in Foxboro but they've since kinda tasted less fresh, but Poke Bowl is way, way better and one build your own poke bowl lasts me two meals worth. Other nearby poke bowl only places like poke bros or poke works don't even compare.

The restaurant was clean and well lit, with staff welcoming you as you walk in. All the ingredients looked fresh (and those I had I can say tastes fresh as well). Absolutely no fish smell or taste with either the tuna, salmon or shrimp. The tuna and salmon also can come plain, marinated (I presume soy sauce based) or spicy.

The service seemed fine and efficient, but can't really comment beyond that. The dining area was clean, spacious, and well lit. I ended up going with a signature bowl (Da Kine) since I just wanted something quick and my siblings got the spicy salmon in their custom bowls. I love when places actually have marinated fish as an option and their marinated tuna in addition to spicy salmon (actual cubes, not mush) were so flavorful even without the additional sauces. They do charge for quite a few premium ingredients since my siblings got custom bowls, but my signature bowl came with premium ingredients and for less in price. I'm taking a star off essentially for the portion size in my bowl, which was smaller than I expect for the price, but maybe it would have been better if I went with a custom bowl so I'd definitely come back to get that and see if it makes a difference.

Service was polite but not super friendly. Ambiance was very cute, reminded me a lot of Honolulu, and very clean overall. Well done for the atmosphere of the cuisine. Bonus points for bathroom being super clean. Parking easy, it's in a larger plaza with a big lot right out front. Loose Lead Boba available inside - boba was good but tea was a little watered down.

My sister and I have gone twice since they opened a few weeks ago. I am the kind of person that likes to eat raw fish over cooked fish and do not like sugar in my tea. Food&Drinks: the BYO poké bowls are my favorite. The fish is fresh enough that it doesn't smell fishy or oceany. The toppings are all delicious and fresh. Although, I wish it were a little bit more chilled when served. The sushi rice is a bit over cooked but still okay. Drinks are great! Haven't had a bad drink yet! My go to is the Iced Matcha and the A-Oolong tea w/ cheese foam. The strawberry matcha latte and drip coffee are also yummy! Service: staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They are slightly slow but that's what happens at every new store opening. Bare with them for the first few months! Atmosphere: very clean, including bathrooms. Cute store decor. Wish the fan wasn't sitting in front of the "wanna poké?" sign...still haven't been able to get an aesthetic photo of that wall! Very inviting! Overall: I treat places that sell raw fish very seriously, knowing how bad food poisoning can be. I really like pokemoto and looseleaf tea's concept. I also believe that if you haven't had raw fish or real tea before, this would be the place to start!

Did a lunch visit with a friend, going our own way with lunch combos and adding a couple of full-order appetizers. -- Spareribs on the Bone: St Louis cut ribs with ruby red glaze, just a bit of char, and a clear honey glaze to sweeten things further. Not the meatiest, not the juiciest, and not the most tender, but they got the job done, thanks to the very pleasing flavor. These have the potential to be stellar at night. As sampled, above average to well above average, even with the flaws. -- Egg Rolls: Extra crunchy exterior and a soft, stringy assortment of both cabbage and celery for greenery, accented with pork. Above average. -- Chicken Wing (the included appetizer on a combo): Not dark of skin, but still crispy. A bit dry. Kinda plain, with discernible but light marinade. Average to slightly below average. -- Hot and Sour Soup: Not many mushrooms or other fillers. Mostly thick, weirdly gloppy broth and some scallions. Spice present, flavors good, textures not so good. Balances out to average. -- Szechuan Style Chicken with Peanuts: Other than having the two ingredients listed in the name, it didn't seem like similarly named dishes or kung pao. Pea pods standing in for celery. Chicken was high quality and the flavors were appealing, with spice coming through and a hoisin-equestrian undercurrent adding depth. A little above average even if different. -- General Gao's Chicken: My friend's lunch combo. He said it was heavy on the breading and had one-note sweetness. A mixed bag, but a worthy visit if you need something in the area. Lunch specials at $11.95 have a more than fair amount of food, so a good value. But it's those spareribs that'll bring me back. Attentive service. Parking in back of the building.
