The sushi here is very high quality and they have many creative specialty rolls as well as unique appetizers. The Tuna Heaven was particularly interesting. A soft potato pancake with a lot of Tuna on top. I would say great value for that. The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because the sushi rolls themselves, while delicious, are quite pricey. This is pricier than similar quality sushi in downtown Boston. But considering it is one of the few good sushi spots in the area, it is definitely worth the occasional visit. The staff was very attentive and nice and the place has a nice ambiance.

    Awesome sushi and sashimi.

Sushi is very good here, fresh and creative combinacions. Highly recommend it. Everyone always very happy to serve you. Love the new renovations and ambience.

Just a few of the dishes we enjoyed.

First time here and our waitress was informative, funny, and extremely efficient. Excellent ambiance, very inviting and enjoyable to sit down and eat in vs takeout. Food was not only prepared in front of us but was absolutely perfect. Looks like I've found a new go to place for sushi.

Takara doesn't disappoint, went here tonight. Sushi's are top-notch. We ordered Hawaii, Weston and Hoka Tuna rolls and each one of them was nicely prepared and tasty. Tuna Tartar was different from the usual but delicious. Service is highly efficient and attentive. Love the new location, thought it was a little bit more tight in space compared to the old location. Nonetheless you cannot go wrong with Takara when you crave sushi.

I have been here twice with a girlfriend and both experience was great. Great place to dine and catch up. The service is very friendly and helpful. Food comes out tasty, very well presented and fairly quick. It's a cute little warm restaurant with a clean look and well maintained.

The service is polite and super sonic speed. The food is super scrumptious with all the right notes. The ambiance was fantastic even though the restaurant used to be a Dunkin.

Did not have to wait but this place does get busy as it is not too large and they only have two tables that can hold a large party. Service was friendly and really helped us with the selection dishes and the menu itself. Sashimi was very fresh and tasty. The whole negative was the toro which did not taste right so we had to request a refund.

I went out to lunch on a whim and was going to be bad and head over to 5 guys for a burger and fries. I got to the intersection and then remembered that Takara was right on the next corner if I took a right. I took the right and gave Takara a shot. I am SO glad I did. I ordered light, with a Rainbow roll and the 4 pc Sushi Sampler; Both were perfect!! Not overly an overly large roll but tightly rolled and with toped with fresh pieces of a variety of fish. The 4pc sushi sampler was equally well done 4 perfectly sized pieces of Nigiri Sushi and with the exception of one, didn't come apart when I picked it up with my chopsticks. Will be definitely going back for more on my next payday!

Food was OK, but their prices for nigiri sushi are WAY out of line. They need to get competitive.

For starter they have so many toppings without additional charge. The ingredients are fresh, menu is easy to navigate, staff were friendly, food was served promptly and the place was clean and spacious. Need I say more? The ordering process is extremely easy since you can just use the kiosks to visualize everything they offer and the service is very quick once you place your order. The dining area is spacious and clean with decorative art/boba around the walls. I ordered a BYO bowl since I wanted to customize my toppings, but there are plenty of signature bowls/burritos that can satisfy your cravings. They offer a wide range of toppings without a set limit on the number and to my surprise seaweed salad, masago, and tamago were all free options! The portion size was sufficient and they didn't skimp out on the toppings despite the numerous customizations I chose. The fish were in large chunks and tasted fresh. Price is around what I'd expect for a poké bowl and the only thing I'd prefer differently is if they had some marinated fish options and the sauces could use some work. Other than that I would definitely come back to try some of their other options and their boba as well.

The food was top quality and the atmosphere was on point. Genuinely one of the nicest experiences I have had with Hibachi in the state since moving here from Chicago. 10/10 would come again despite the 30 minute drive.

There was plenty of parking, and upon walking in the restaurant looked very clean. Since it was close to closing and I had called ahead, we were seated right away at a hibachi table with just the two of us. There was an extremely loud birthday party seated next to us, but that's not the restaurant's fault. While ordering, I wanted to get appetizers and sushi before our hibachi meal, but I felt a little rushed by our server. On a previous visit I remembered there being a Tuesday appetizer special (I thought it was half off), but when I asked, I was told they had never offered that promotion. Food: * Rock & Roll Roll - 8/10: Fresh and tasty, although the crab had a slightly stronger smell than I'd prefer. * Shrimp Tempura Roll - 9/10: Very good, but I asked for extra eel sauce and was given barely a tablespoon. * Steak & Shrimp Hibachi - 5/10: The flavor was excellent and everything was cooked exactly as requested, but the portions were surprisingly small for the price. * Chicken & Steak Hibachi - 5/10: Again, the flavor was great, but the portions were disappointing. We ordered extra chicken, which ended up being a good decision because the regular portion was very small. Each plate had less than a cup of rice, and although I requested extra mushrooms instead of zucchini and carrots, that substitution wasn't made. * Salt & Pepper Chicken Wings - 10/10: Easily one of the best items we ordered. Perfectly crispy with great seasoning and just the right amount of spice. * Scallion Pancakes - 9/10: Crispy and flavorful, but they could have used more scallions and a larger portion of dipping sauce. Drinks: I ordered a lemon drop martini made with tequila, but it tasted like it was made with vodka. I asked if it could be replaced, but that request was declined. They brought me pineapple juice to try to make it more drinkable, but it didn't help, and the drink still remained on the bill. That was definitely a 0/10 experience. Our hibachi chef was fantastic. He was engaging, acknowledged my fiancé's birthday, and honestly made up for the lackluster service we received from our waiter. One thing diners should be aware of is that an 18% service charge is automatically added to the bill, but it isn't verbally mentioned. It's listed as a "service charge" on the receipt, so it's easy to overlook if you're not paying attention. I asked about it to confirm, then tipped our hibachi chef separately because he deserved it. The receipt also includes wording encouraging additional gratuity, which could easily lead guests to tip twice if they don't notice the automatic charge. Overall, the food quality and flavors were still good, and the hibachi chef made the experience enjoyable. However, the rushed service, disappointing portion sizes, drink issue, and lack of transparency about the automatic service charge kept this visit from living up to our previous experiences.

My sister and I have gone twice since they opened a few weeks ago. I am the kind of person that likes to eat raw fish over cooked fish and do not like sugar in my tea. Food&Drinks: the BYO poké bowls are my favorite. The fish is fresh enough that it doesn't smell fishy or oceany. The toppings are all delicious and fresh. Although, I wish it were a little bit more chilled when served. The sushi rice is a bit over cooked but still okay. Drinks are great! Haven't had a bad drink yet! My go to is the Iced Matcha and the A-Oolong tea w/ cheese foam. The strawberry matcha latte and drip coffee are also yummy! Service: staff is friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They are slightly slow but that's what happens at every new store opening. Bare with them for the first few months! Atmosphere: very clean, including bathrooms. Cute store decor. Wish the fan wasn't sitting in front of the "wanna poké?" sign...still haven't been able to get an aesthetic photo of that wall! Very inviting! Overall: I treat places that sell raw fish very seriously, knowing how bad food poisoning can be. I really like pokemoto and looseleaf tea's concept. I also believe that if you haven't had raw fish or real tea before, this would be the place to start!
