Just a few of the dishes we enjoyed.

First time here and our waitress was informative, funny, and extremely efficient. Excellent ambiance, very inviting and enjoyable to sit down and eat in vs takeout. Food was not only prepared in front of us but was absolutely perfect. Looks like I've found a new go to place for sushi.

The service is polite and super sonic speed. The food is super scrumptious with all the right notes. The ambiance was fantastic even though the restaurant used to be a Dunkin.

I have been here twice with a girlfriend and both experience was great. Great place to dine and catch up. The service is very friendly and helpful. Food comes out tasty, very well presented and fairly quick. It's a cute little warm restaurant with a clean look and well maintained.

Takara doesn't disappoint, went here tonight. Sushi's are top-notch. We ordered Hawaii, Weston and Hoka Tuna rolls and each one of them was nicely prepared and tasty. Tuna Tartar was different from the usual but delicious. Service is highly efficient and attentive. Love the new location, thought it was a little bit more tight in space compared to the old location. Nonetheless you cannot go wrong with Takara when you crave sushi.

Did not have to wait but this place does get busy as it is not too large and they only have two tables that can hold a large party. Service was friendly and really helped us with the selection dishes and the menu itself. Sashimi was very fresh and tasty. The whole negative was the toro which did not taste right so we had to request a refund.

I went out to lunch on a whim and was going to be bad and head over to 5 guys for a burger and fries. I got to the intersection and then remembered that Takara was right on the next corner if I took a right. I took the right and gave Takara a shot. I am SO glad I did. I ordered light, with a Rainbow roll and the 4 pc Sushi Sampler; Both were perfect!! Not overly an overly large roll but tightly rolled and with toped with fresh pieces of a variety of fish. The 4pc sushi sampler was equally well done 4 perfectly sized pieces of Nigiri Sushi and with the exception of one, didn't come apart when I picked it up with my chopsticks. Will be definitely going back for more on my next payday!

When I was deciding where I wanted to have lunch today, I decided to come here because it was convenient to where I live. But it also happened to be the third time I've come here for lunch in the last two months because it's a nice little cozy spot to get delicious sushi, soup, noodles, ect. The staff are very friendly, will answer your questions, and will direct you on what is good to eat. Today I ordered the Celtics roll, and the tofu Bibimbap, which came with miso soup. All were very flavorful, healthy and tasted great. If you were looking to eat out lunch and not get the usual pizza slice, or sandwich, I recommend coming here.

I'm disappointed that Takara's standards have decreased since I have eaten here a lot in the past. Their sushi is mediocre now but their calamari is even worse than last time. It's dry circles/rings that they advertise as calamari tempura but is chewy/hard to bite into and swallow and tastes awful. My children love calamari but they couldn't even bite the calamari from Takara. There were only 9 small calamari rings, and they were awful and inedible. The oyster tempura were only four pieces and they were mediocre at best. Their Korean food was even worse! Sushi is definitely better here than their Korean food, and we learned that lesson after ordering Jap Jae with beef (the noodles are not the typical Jap Jae noodles) and galbi beef. The galbi beef was priced at $17.95 and it did not taste good at all. It had a lot of sauce. I took a bite since I love galbi and it was also chewy and did not taste good. Plus after eating it, I noticed there was also a strand of dark black hair inside. I have blonde/brown hair and I was the first one to open it so I knew it was not my hair. Plus it was inside with the galbi beef. It was so gross I couldn't eat it after seeing that. Plus, when I did try it before I saw the black hair, it already did not taste good. I tasted regret for ordering a $17.95 dish that was not worth anywhere near that. The sushi like I said is mediocre. The sushi wasn't as good as I remembered in the past, but the calamari and Korean food were awful! Definitely do not recommend.

Food was OK, but their prices for nigiri sushi are WAY out of line. They need to get competitive.

First impression, this is a large restaurant, very clean and modern with a nice long bar, The lunch specials are 12.50 - 13.50 or so. Not bad. What you get is the main dish and either fried or white rice only. No appetizer and no soup but that's fine, it's lunch and I just need to eat a normal portion of a tasty dish and that is what we got. My buddy got Yu Hsaing beef and hot n sour soup. I tasted the dish and it was delicious especially the mushrooms that had absorbed the mildly spicy yet savory sauce. I got Three Delights which was fine though I believe the shrimp was frozen and understandable as I imagine fresh deliveries were held up due to a paralyzing snowstorm. One minor complaint had to ask for duck sauce and had to ask for tea and was in fact charged for the cup of tea 1.75 I believe. Waiter nice guy, thought funny he was using the universal belt LOL it was probably a size 40 belt and he was a skinny guy maybe a 30 waist, so it did look odd. With the tip was 43 bucks, a bit more than what I like to spend at lunch, but it was a relaxing time. On the way out had a chat with I believe the owner or maybe manager very nice guy. I will come back.

The ordering process is extremely easy since you can just use the kiosks to visualize everything they offer and the service is very quick once you place your order. The dining area is spacious and clean with decorative art/boba around the walls. I ordered a BYO bowl since I wanted to customize my toppings, but there are plenty of signature bowls/burritos that can satisfy your cravings. They offer a wide range of toppings without a set limit on the number and to my surprise seaweed salad, masago, and tamago were all free options! The portion size was sufficient and they didn't skimp out on the toppings despite the numerous customizations I chose. The fish were in large chunks and tasted fresh. Price is around what I'd expect for a poké bowl and the only thing I'd prefer differently is if they had some marinated fish options and the sauces could use some work. Other than that I would definitely come back to try some of their other options and their boba as well.

They also recently added side offerings such as tempura chicken & shrimp, and crab rangoons. At a super affordable price, the seafood and fish were very fresh. I got one of their pre-made bowls for $15.50, the Aloha Classic Bowl. It had Ahi tuna, yellowtail, sesame seeds, scallions, avocado, cucumber, edamame, seaweed salad, mango, nori strip, ponzu, and sweet chili aloha sauce. This was a terrific price for the different toppings I was getting! I think they could've given me a little more of everything since the amount ended up being less than what I expected, but still acceptable. I ordered it online for pickup, but my friends who ordered in person got a bit more than I did. Overall, the poke bowl was really tasty! The only thing I would change is the sauce. Inside is quite spacious with a good amount of booths which I appreciated. Parking was a breeze as well since it has a large parking lot in front of the storefront that is shared with the nearby shops. Overall, I recommend trying this place out! Next time, I'll try one of their drinks and make my bowl since that seems the way to go!

The set up of…read morethe grills made the seating awkward as we filled the chairs around the grill (8) but then had 4 people in a row taking over a little of the other one (even though it was not in use). We started by ordering drinks and 3 rolls of sushi. I didn't get their names since we just told them to bring out their best ones, which I think they interpreted as best sellers. All were very delicious, and the presentation was lovely. We all chose to do the hibachi; with some combination of filet mignon, chicken, steak, shrimp, or scallops. They started with making the rice, followed by the noodles (optional but $4 more per person), then the meat, and later the vegetables. They got everyone's order correctly and did a fantastic job of rationing the portions so that everyone got about the same. They also performed all the tricks including the eggs toss, the onion volcano /train, and tossing food / liquids into people's mouths. I found that because they make everything separate, my rice and noodles were cold by the time my meat and veggies were ready. It's a blessing and curse that you can see them cook in front of you. Blessing because you know how your food is being handled and can see the freshness of it, but a curse because you realize all your food is being cooked with the same "seasonings"/sauces. I personally thought it was a bit bland, but everything tasted fresh. The yum yum sauce was initially sweet, but after that, I couldn't pin point the flavor. Overall, it was a good time. Food quality I would say 3 stars, but ambiance and service is 4.5 stars. I think it's a good setting for corporate events. We didn't get any, but upon request it seems like they were blowing up little reindeer antler head bands. When we paid, they also gave us a gift card to use at a future visit which was nice.
