THIS PLACE WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!! They double charged our account and when we called and very politely tried to get them to rectify it we were told that the manager had to be there to do it. We left our number to be called back and they never got back to us. We then went to the location and asked to speak to the manager and he was conveniently not there. It's now been 5 days and still no contact, we have bank statements as proof of the double charge and this customer service is unacceptable. Taking our hard earned money that we decided to spend in your establishment is a disgusting display of professionalism and nobody should do business with people like this. At this point it's not even about the money, it's about the principle of not making something like this right with people that have supported your business for years. The chicken was so hard you could not even chew it, the batter on the chicken was horrifying. To treat good customers that way is appalling. Talk about consistency and value. Always fast. Always good. Well, almost always, sometimes it seems like they run out of certain things but not to worry! They are one of our favorite restaurants in Woon and we are total food snobs. My go to is Kung pao chicken. Or the chow fun noodles with tofu. Soups are great. The egg rolls are great. Not my usual Chinese outlet, but seeing as Covid19 has shut down pretty much the world at this point! I was pleased to find King Wok was open for business! It's always risky trying new places, especially when you're use to dishes being cooked a certain way. I'm pleased to say, I was extremely happy with the quality and taste of my food! I actually could say I prefer it over our usual restaurant! Prices were pretty comparable too, and the combination dinner plates are bigger. I had sweet and sour chicken, the pieces were big cubbed pieces and battered to perfection. Pork fried rice was delicious! Light, fluffy, pieces of meat, onion and bean sprouts- which I loved! Great flavor! Spring roll were substantial and so were the crab Rangoon's! Tonight, I have fried dumplings and house low mein, along with last nights left-overs! Very pleased at finding this gem! To be honest I thought this place was overrated! I just went off of the 5 reviews that it had that were good, but in the long run it wasn't that good. I think for the town of Woonsocket it might be up to par, but when you're use to chicken wings that aren't fatty and chicken fingers that aren't crunchy and dry than this is just an average Chinese restaurant. I will say that the shrimp fried rice was very good and the portions and customer service was also very good but I don't know if that's enough to go back again. 2.5 stars read more

Kind of surprised to see some of these reviews and kind of not. We all know it extremely difficult to find great Chinese food, anywhere.. whenever I get Chinese food I find that I do have to tell them to make the boneless spare ribs soft, so they are not dry. As a first time customer, I called and asked if they could deliver to manville, they made the exception and have been delivering to me ever since. The first time I ordered, I asked for soft ribs as a precautionary measure, I ordered the C, used the online menu- it's a combination of chicken wings, boneless spare ribs and beef teriyaki.. I don't like the texture of beef teriyaki so I asked for chicken and they happily obliged, no additional charge. The food came quicker than expected and my styrofoam carton was LOADED with food :) so much so, the chicken teriyaki had to be in a separate bag and they still had to staple my plate together lol literally loaded up my plate with enough ribs and rice to feed two people. I ate it on two or three separate occasions to finish it and was not mad about it at all. The ribs were JUICY, hands down the best I ever had. Chicken was delicious, packed with flavor and to die for!! The rice was also amazing, and I had a lot of it, I didn't need any soy or duck sauce for it, it was just perfect!! I concluded that this would be my go-to Chinese spot in the area. Hubby also really loved his food. The chicken teriyaki was also really good, nicely side white pieces of meat. Price is right and portions are awesome! The second time I ordered I didn't add that I wanted the ribs to be soft and they completely fouled out. It was dry and burnt :( they were more than understanding and admitted their mistake, said the cook left it on too long and gave me a new order. They seemed to be genuinely concerned that I was not happy with my ribs and apologized. I have been driving there for my orders ever since, so excited to get my food at a fraction of delivery time, even though delivery doesn't take long either. I always tell my friends about this place, if you're nearby, give them a try! Don't be afraid to ask for your food the way you like it, they are super accommodating, the atmosphere is nice, love the decorations and the staff are nice. The guy I spoke to refused to refund me my money cause i wouldn't tip the driver due to being the last order. I would have tipped the driver if he wasn't so rude or ignorant telling me to come pick up my food then, so on I told him I can't cause I have a 3 month baby who's sick n it's cold out. He got very pissed off n told me would I like to work for free that the driver isn't working for free. Our first night in town after making the move from South Prov to the Woonie Bin, we, of course, called in for Chinese 'livery. King Wok was our major takeout option before discovering Pacific RI and overall, it was a tasty ride. Their beef with broccoli was pretty average: if anything a little bit on the greasy side (as in, the oil would be pooling at the bottom of the container with significantly less sauce). Still, it was all good enough and I always enjoyed my meals until one random order, I found a bizarre mix of lo mien noodles and a slight fishy/shrimpy taste mixed in with my broccoli. Which was.. weird. Granted nothing has ever made me feel ill but I had the sneaking suspicion someone re-used the same silverware for someone's shrimp lo mien for my beef & broccoli without proper cleaning. I ordered one final time following that before changing restaurants. They are always super fast with delivery, and the food always tastes as if it was right off the stove. Some food that is supposed to be crispy can get soggy from being in containers, but since these guys are so quick, it's always delicious! I also had a fantastic experience today, which is why I am writing this review. I ordered a 2 liter of Ginger Ale to go with my meal. The delivery guy arrived, and told me they ran out, so he brought a Coke instead. Personally I cannot stand the taste of Coke, so I simply asked for my money back, or if he had Sprite or something else in the car. He then proceeded to tell me that he would go get it, and he left. When he returned, he had Ginger Ale! He had gone to the store to specifically get what I had requested. That is 5 star service in my book. read more

I don't have a whole lot to say about King Wok except that they have the BEST CHICKEN WINGS I HAVE EVER HAD! I have numerous friends that live in Woonsocket and they order wings from here for just about every gathering they throw. I have not tried much else (other than the lo-mein, which is ok) but they get 4 stars just because of the wings. I don't know what hell they cook those things in but I sure hope they don't change their technique. The place is small and in a strip-mall near the edge of town (close to the Mass. border) so it is easy to overlook but if you happen to pass by, stop in and take some wings home with you.
