I ordered a chicken lo mein for my girlfriend and we received a piece of hard plastic wedged inside the dish looking like a vegetable. But this piece of plastic bends and bends and will not break. Hands down the BEST Chinese food in Woonsocket!! I've never had a bad plate from this place.

Used to be my favorite place. When they use good cooking oil the food is awesome. Sadly the last 4 times I ordered the pupu platter for 2 the cooking oil way way past dead and everything was 100% inedible. After years of eating there spending over $100 of food that went straight into the trash made me call it quits eating there forever. Its too bad because the people are nice but you go there to eat not socialize. read more

I'm sorry guys I don't want to give you 1 star, but I have to give you 1 star. This food was atrocious. The staff was very nice but that's where the niceties end. I mean this food was borderline inedible. The chicken wings were the best part of the meal and 50% of them grossed me out, probably just because how bad the rest of the food was. The steak teriyaki was pretty much shoe leather but completely edible. I'd eat them again even though they sucked. The crab rangoons though were absolutely disgusting. I can't put my finger on why they were so bad, but they were just sour and gross. I wouldn't even mind if they were all cream cheese, I love cream cheese. These were disgusting though and it's the first time I've ever not finished an order of crab rangoons in my life. I threw them away, along with most of the meal. Imagine the worst Chinese food you've ever eaten in your life at a cheap buffet and this food was 10x worse. The rice tasted a week old and had no flavor whatsoever even after adding the two packets of duck and soy sauce they gave me not to mention my own ingredients from home. I actually knew right then when my duck sauce came in packets and not a cup my meal would be awful but I tried to eat it anyways. I've lived in Woonsocket for about 3 years now and I've always seen people going in and out of this place so I decided to give it a shot even though I've found generally fine Chinese take out in the area and let me tell you, I am beyond disappointed. This place is right down the street from the condo's we live in. Let me say that this review is only based on take-out orders. My husband and I love this Chinese Take out place. We usually order the Chicken and Brocolli combination with the Boneless Spareribs. We have tried other things from their menu and never have a complain. The same quality everytime- no matter what time it is! Another BIG plus for this restaurant is that it's opened 7 days a week from 11-11pm. What terrible service! They don't understand any English when they answer the phone and they don't even announce who they are when they answer the phone. They forgot half are order that they charged us for and when we called them to tell them the forgot half the stuff we order they said (in broken English if you call it that) that we didn't pay for what they forgot! NEVER AGAIN!!! The place is a dump from the parking lot and entrance and inside. As soon as you walk in, there is a horrible smell, which I remembered from a long time ago when I went. Its like a really bad musty smell.We were seated next to the very cloudy fish tank, which I was wondering if that's where the smell came from. I wanted to leave, I had to hold my hand over my nose the whole time. We ordered pu-pu platter, shrimp lo-mien, and my boyfriend got wonton soup. The food sucked so bad we couldn't eat it. $50 down the drain. The waitress was nice, but never asked why we didn't eat. She never even said thank you for her tip. I wanted to refuse the food and leave. If I was with anybody else I would have. The plates are so old, the white was all scratched off and it was gray. My fork was bent really bad. As people came in, I couldn't understand how anybody can eat with that awful smell. I don't know how anybody can give this dump a good review. I am going to call the Health Dept. My favorite Chinese is Quans Kitchen. I just didn't want to drive that far. read more

Tried this place last night & we were blown away! Absolutely delicious! The best chicken fingers I have ever had!!!

Don't waste your time. Typical take out with huge portions, but the food is mediocre at best. I asked for a couple of menu items that were still listed, but apparently they did not have anymore. The "crab rangoons" should be taken off the menu as they are filled with just cream cheese. I have saved the best for last, of course. I was digging into the vegetable portion of my spicy szechaun chicken when I went for a piece of broccoli and noticed two black specs. I used my fork to check them out and yes, they were bugs! Needless to say, my meal now resides in the trash. This is why I stopped getting take out from Ho Kong years ago. Now I must scratch another restaurant off the list! Beware! read more

Love this restaurant! Hands down best place to order from within the city! Plus nothing beats lunch specials of general tso for 6 bucks. Worth the money; flavors are great too. They speak Spanish as well which helps when ordering and even the younger man speaks very fluent English. Great family run business and great to see the whole family on a constant the couple have a young child and often have her in the restraint she's adorable! If your looking for family friendly cheap food this is perfect! Delivery is always quick too! Always have to tip well waited less than 30 mins for an order! read more

Their food really isn't bad at all. It's just a Chinese take out nothing more. From looking at the outside of the place you wouldn't want to dine in. They do make the food that is on the menu and their portion sizes are decent. Love left overs! Every online menu for this place is out of date (and they know it). The woman who took my order spoke Broken English at best. Sooo when i ordered my food i told her the number and I also said what the item(s) were for that number. She was all like "ok, what else? ok, what else? ok, what else?" So I assumed that i was looking good and i would receive what I ordered. Boy was i wrong!! The moment i opened the containers i realized half of my order was incorrect, so i called them right away and informed the same lady that that two of the four dinners were wrong so there must be some kind of mistake. She said "you order by number. You order from old menu. Online menu old, no good." So I explained that i also told her what was in the dinner(s) and her response was "You order by number not my fault." I will NEVER EVER spend another dime on this place!!!!!! Poor communication skills, lousy service, slow delivery, and below average food. I should of ordered a pizza! read more
