We really enjoyed the stir fried string beans with pork, chicken with vegetables and the general gau's chicken were well within our flavor and taste range. These are pretty much our first try choices if available to help us gage our experience. Definitely returning to expand our ventures through the menu. This was a takeout order.

It was around 8 pm so we were hoping it wasn't too packed and luckily it was about 50% full. They are located in a plaza with lots of popular businesses so parking can be scarce at times, but we had no issues this time. We were seated at a table with half comfy bench and half rigid chair so my friend and I decided to turn the table the long way and both sit on the comfy bench side. One of the hosts saw us close like sardines, came over and happily moved over a second table for us which was super kind of her. We ordered a sweet potato roll ($9), shrimp tempura roll ($12), and shrimp pad thai ($19). The sweet potato roll was the best one we've ever had as the sweet potato was not only really sweet, but it was very crispy and almost had caramelized edges. The shrimp tempura roll was also delicious. The slices were thin but wide as it had two pieces of shrimp tempura. I asked for spicy mayo on top instead of eel sauce. The pad thai was my least favorite since it didn't have many veggies, but also because it was a little too sweet, though the little lime wedge helped a bit. It did come with a good amount of shrimp, maybe 8 of them. For the prices, the serving sizes were good. Our server was attentive and very nice. They have a couple TVs along the wall and they have an open sushi bar where you can watch them making the rolls. The place is also clean.

The server was friendly but definitely took a bit long to bring the food or check in on us. At one point we got our entree before the appetizer. She forgot to put it in. It wasn't horrible but the service could use some improvement to better tend to the customers. Wasn't anything huge to ruin the night but as a visitor from out of town, it was quite noticeable.
