Food is consistently good and the owners are very nice people. Prices are amazing! Portions are large

On my way home I drove by Young Sing and saw the neon sign that said "Cocktails" in the window. Pulled into the lot and grabbed an open spot. Then walked in. So far, so good. "Hi, my name Foo, Foo Ling. You open?" I asked. "Yeah, we open, you have seat at bar or table?" "Bar good, Foo like bar!" So I sat and looked around. The joint was clean, sparse but it looked cared for. "So, Foo, what you think you have?" asked the waitress bartender. "I'll do a Scorpion Bowl, and a C34." "Ah, good choice, I whip up for you now!" The Scorpion Bowl had a ton of booze and the food delish. I loved the proteins and ate a bit of rice. "The Scorpion Bowl is very strong. Foo get tipsy!" I slurred as I kinda fell off my stool a bit. Last time I ordered there, my food was so bad I threw most of it away, and that's saying alot because I both really like Chinese food and really dislike wasting. It was chicken chow mein with fried rice and the ingredients were not fresh. I don't want a small business to fail, truly gives me no pleasure disparage the place. Last night, I ordered chicken fried rice and beef teriyaki. I went home and sat down to eat. As I started to eat, there were hard, small black pieces in the fried rice. They were so hard I thought I had broken my tooth. I looked through the container, and they were all over the rice. I couldn't even break some of them with my fork. Needless to say, I lost my appetite and threw it out. The beef teriyaki was chewy and not cooked enough. I guess I'm looking for a new restaurant. Very disappointed. read more

For what it is, dirt cheap chinese food, this place is great! Owners were super sweet to us. Highly recommend the wonton soup. Kind of tastes more like homecooked food than professional chinese food, if you get my gist. I personally liked that vibe! read more

I've been going there for years, love this place! My favorite spot for General Tso's.

Food is relatively good for the price. It's not always consistent but the price is right and they do give you homemade duck sauce if you ask for it. The service is very very good and server is friendly. I go there from time to time for takeout. They are open late and it's a good last minute spot to go to. Nice people. read more

Great Chinese restaurant. My go to. It's a treat to eat their food. Love the steamed dumplings. Their sauce is always consistent and tasty. I have never had a meal in the restaurant, I have always ordered takeout. The food always arrives hot. They have no contact delivery, which is nice with the virus. They also will bring it out to your car if you decide you want to pick it up. read more

I've driven by this place many times and the outside first impressions kept us from ordering here. Quarantine comes around, looking for Chinese food and very limited options led us to ordering here. To our PLEASANT surprise it was really quite good. Very typical, inexpensive lunches that were hot, fresh & tasty. The pupu for 2 was more like a pupu for 3 or 4. A stuffed container of sticky wings, chic fingers, beef teriyaki, egg rolls and boneless ribs... all hot and delicious. Crab rangoons were a bit over fried yet, overall enjoyable. Egg foo young lunch portion was not huge but my husband enjoyed it & for $5 bucks, it was a great deal. The only downside to the meal was the pork fried rice was "meh" being very light on pork or veggies and the vegetable lo mein noodles were overcooked and very bland. I prob wouldn't order their lo mein again. All around though, it was very good and affordable lunch. read more

I love Young Sing! I've been going to Young Sing since about 2004. This is my favorite Chinese place (outside of Dim Sum). The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The owners are fastidiously clean and care about their establishment. Sometimes, when I order takeout, they throw in a complimentary box of fried dough sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon. Once when I was pregnant, I ordered right before close. They threw in an extra order of fried rice for me. The food is consistently good. I recommend their egg foo young, the cantonese noodles, general tsaos, and the crab rangoon. Young Sing hits home runs with their soup. Each soup is fresh and has a full bodied stock. You can't beat the food for the price. read more

Ordered last night and the general taos was disgusting. The sauce tasted rancid and the chicken was mostly dark mushy meat. The crab rangoons were also bad. They were tough to chew and the filing was grainy and curdled. The sweet and sour chicken was dry and looked/ tasted like they refried old chicken and gave it to us. Will not be returning as I've had an upset stomach since I ate it and have had diarrhea all morning. DO NOT EAT HERE. read more

Honestly... My new favorite Chinese takeout place. Their general tsaos chicken is delicious! I wasn't expecting much but the portions are huge and everything else we ordered was great. I figured I would try this restaurant because I heard it was pretty good and it's across the street from my kids school. I couldn't say one thing was good. The rice was extremely dry no moisture whatsoever and it was flavorless. Also didn't like the egg rolls and the beef teriyaki was dried out almost like beef jerky. We ordered a scorpion bowl for two and it was terrible so we asked the waitress what they put in it and they stated vodka and rum I've never been to a restaurant where they put vodka in a scorpion bowl! The prices aren't bad but I guess you get what you paid for. Never again! read more

Best egg rolls around. I was disappointed when I moved away from warwick and had to give up China inn for my favorite take out/ delivery place. It took me 6 months to find this place. Wow. Great prices. Amazing food. They just started offering pad thai. Combos are reasonably priced at dinner and an amazing value for lunch. I eat here at least once a week. read more

We have ordered from this restaurant for years and never had a problem with the food or service until they moved to gansett ave. Either the food is cold, not fresh, ribs are fatty, or burnt. We always have to tell the rude lady who answers the phone about the food. Hit has been a hit or miss with them. Well I finally had it. The other night I placed my order and provided my credit card for payment. The driver arrive and I see my all my credit card information on a piece of paper. The card number, expiration date, 3 digit code along with address. I took that information from the driver and called them. The young lady stated they do that so the driver will know the address. A what? Then she said that they write it down so if we give the driver a tip they can add it later. Explained to her that is not good. Well they have now refused to deliver or accept any orders from us.. Are you serious??
