Excellent food at a great price and you get it quick. What more is there to say. I have tried the Duck, the Shrimp and Lobster sauce, the pork fried rice, egg rolls, the wonton soup, egg drop and wonton soup, the moo goo gai pan, and a few others and they were all very good. My wife has gotten the bbq spare ribs and absolutely loves them. I haven't gone wrong ordering from this place and we will continue to get our Chinese food fix from this place. read more

Pork Chow Mein did not taste fresh. I've had better Spring Rolls from the grocery store. Not only was the food of poor quality, but the service was too. Overly salty Ma Po Tofu with very little ground pork and mired in an abundance of coagulated brown sauce. Hot and Sour soup was just ok. Roommate seemed to like the Chicken Lo Mein, Pork Fried Rice and Chicken with Vegetables but then he did dump it all in a plastic bowl and mixed it all up so that may tell you that his taste buds are a bit juvenile (my apologies to juveniles) at best. I come here all the time to pick up takeout. The owners are always nice. The food is always reliable, and affordable. I love the egg rolls, and the fried dumplings. The wonton soup is good too, but I'm not a fan of the crab rangoon. My usual is either lo mein, or sesame chicken, but I trust them enough to keep trying new things. read more

I placed an order and when I picked it up , I found a strand of hair in my food. I called and asked for them to remake it or give me my refund. They told me to come in and when I did the owner open the bowl and got in my face saying that there's no way that hair came from their restaurant... I'm as polite as I could be ( I work in a restaurant and didn't wanna be THAT customer) they refunded my money because I demanded them to and even at that they didn't want to give it to me.I then got kicked out and as I walked out he threw the food at me, luckily it got the door and not me. I am often wary of ordering chinese food as delivery because they usually either a.) mess up the order or b.) can't find where I live. I was pleasantly surprised with China Fun! They have online ordering which is simple and really awesome! The portions here aren't 'super huge' but my boyfriend and I ordered the General Tso's combo plate and an order of fried dumplings and it was plenty for the both of us. The Tso's was not soggy, and the sauce wasn't too sugary. The fried rice was a little lacking, as far as veggies, but the bean sprouts were fresh! We even asked for a container of oyster sauce on the side on the online order, and they paid attention! It only took about 20 minutes to get the order, and it was warm and packaged well! When I'm in the Cranston area (where my boyfriend currently resides) I'll be ordering here. read more

This restaurant NEVER fails me. I live on the other side of Cranston, and order delivery (out of the way) and they have no problem delivering it. The owner is funny, I'll never forget this one time I ordered and told her I would pick it up. She was SHOCKED, but the food is delicious and CHEAP!! It is always hot when it arrives, the delivery drivers are kind and always walk up to the door with a smile. Favorite dishes are definitely chicken fingers, chicken teriyaki. Very flavorful. Only dislike is their chicken wings because they are breaded. Other than that NO complaints. $50 dollars worth of food can feed 10 people for dinner. SPICY AND JUICY AND aaaahhhh!!!!!! The rice was fresh and the Pork Lo Mein was THE BEST Pork Lo Mein we've EVER had anywhere! I can't believe all this time I was eating subpar Lo Mein! The only thing that we didn't love was the eggroll. Not that they are bad, just tastes like Cabbage is the only thing in there. Seemed quite bland. It is a bummer about the Eggrolls, but the Pork LoMein, General Tso Chicken as well as the Sesame Chicken I CAN vouch for and those items are delicious! More like a 3.5! This place is definitely better than your standard greasy spoon Chinese take out. Both of the dishes I tried (Amazing Shrimp, Pan Fried Noodles) were above average- though they were also just over $10. Good flavor and a bounty of vegetables. Shrimps were large and the various meats were all easily identifiable and neither overcooked or fatty. I'd also like to note that I appreciated that they used plastic take out trays instead of Styrofoam. I got China Fun a few days ago because my local spot is closed and it was close enough to deliver. Everything we ordered was absolutely terrible except the dumplings were okay... but as I was eating one I noticed a stringy thing that I took for a celery or ginger string... I see it again in the next bite... and I look down in the sauce and I see a bunch... so I took my fork to pull them out and it was one of those gigantic mosquito looking flies!!!! Cooked into the sauce you could tell by the color of it! I have never been so disgusted in my life!! My stomach has been turning every time I try to eat since. I can only imagine how disgusting it has to be in that kitchen to not notice a monster sized bug like that especially portioning out the sauce how did they not see!!! read more

She had ordered a take-out of Cold Sesame Noodles here before so we thought we would go to China Fun for Dinner. The sweet young woman spoke pretty good English, but obviously had difficulty understanding, just as she had difficulty understanding my Mandarin (but perhaps that's my fault). They ask that you take a take-out menu and circle what you want, instead of ordering verbally. We ordered Roast Pork with vegetables, Cold Sesame Noodles, Wanton soup, and asked for hot tea- "No tea" Gee, the place looked Chinese. No tea? I have traveled in the GuangXi aboriginal reserve and even THEY drank tea.Fortunately they DID have rice. Not Jasmine but it is too cold today for a Summer rice. The food was great. The Roast Pork was generous and pink edged. The Cold Sesame Noodles as good as any in Taiwan or Mainland China. But eating in, meant we got a brown bag of containers and two plastic spoons. We used the plastic container lids for plates. Wonderful food. A constant stream of locals picking up orders. They DO have 男廁 (Rest Room) with a sign commanding employees to wash their hands before returning to work, but no soap, no towels, no hot water. Well, I've lived with worse in Asia. The food was great, with plenty to eat tomorrow (it was already packaged to take home remember) and only cost under $16 (US). There was no comment when they accepted my Chinese Language American Credit Card. SO...order take out or bring your own dishes and serving spoons because this is no Chinese Restaurant. It is very unfortunate that we have to write this review. This evening we ordered 3 items which we were just curious on how our order was over $20 because we would have used a coupon... when we called back to inquire if we could use the $2 coupon we were told that our credit card had already been processed and we could not. Once our order was delivered and tipped we opened one of our items (small pork fried rice) and attempted to taste the very top of the container only to taste a mouthful of thick, fuzzy hair that lined the top of the container. When we called to inquire about the gift of the fuzzy hair in our order our call went unanswered on an early wednesday evening as they utilize caller ID to identify customers. However, we did leave a detailed voicemail to let them know how we would show our appreciation in an online review. The thing that bothers us the most is that in the past both we and my son have ordered from them and have never had a problem. Maybe we should not have called back and questioned the amount of the order and the use of a coupon for fear of retrobution. Lol !! Lesson learned. No more China Fun for us ! read more

Ordering was easy, since I could view the menu and pay online (you are also able to enter coupons). My husband and I have tried several different items from the menu. The thing that really made me want to write a review is how friendly they are here! I placed an order online and as soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome. Most take-out places don't greet their customers in such a friendly manner (from what I've experienced) and it really goes a long way for me. They have their sauces and forks/spoons out on a table so you can take what you need, and their food is delicious. I ordered the general tso's lunch special and for just $5.95 (plus tax), I got a nice helping of chicken, rice and wonton soup. I LOVE wonton soup and was so excited to see that they offered it as a side for no extra charge! The soup is some of the best I've had, and the chicken is cooked perfectly whereas other restaurants tend to overcook it a little. Always great Chinese take out food. My office orders here at least once a week and everyone is always happy with their food. I usually get the chicken and broccoli and it is never overcooked or mushy. The hot and sour soup is very good also. My staff loves the lunch specials! General Tsao's and kung pao are also favorites here. The owners are super nice and will accommodate your requests. Nime chow has nice flavor but not wrapped tightly.
