(I wrote a longer detailed explanation of everything that occurred but yelp wouldn't accepted the length) I was referred to this company by my realtor who has used them often. I was told that they were good and available. I needed a baby grand piano moved across town quickly to a person interested in purchasing the piano so I thought I would give them a try. One of the employees, Lucky, went over the contract with me. He went over the insurance portion of the policy and told me that basically the policy would cover several thousands of dollars if any damage came to the piano. I signed and paid them $300 to move the piano. The piano was damaged during the move. Marco and his employees (I believe they were intimidated into lying for Marco) were untruthful through most of this experience. Marco was rude, threatening, and demeaning throughout the process. He would try to turn the tables somehow and called me a liar several times. His employees eventually were apologetic and accepted responsibility for the damage and said they were take care of the repair. Marco kept referring to the insurance policy but refused to provide me with an insurance claim form or any information about the insurance policy so I could avoid dealing with him any further. In between agreeing to pay for the damages, he would change the amount he was willing to pay. In the end, the company never paid for the repair. The owner, Marco is rude and threatening. He yelled constantly during telephone calls and talked over me when I attempted to respond. Everyone else with the company seemed intimidated by Marco and his "New York tough guy" routine and seemed obligated to back him. Marco would always end his tirades with "have a blessed day" like that made everything ok. I would never recommend using this company, just because of the Marco. Obviously there is something illicit going on with the insurance they supposedly have and that the contract is nothing but a prop. Although I am sure they get the job done satisfactorily 95% of the time without a problem, are you willing to take that 5% chance of some damage being done. If you doubt my take on Marco, read the other recent review by the high risk pregnant military wife. Corroboration of his demeanor. FOLLOW UP: As expected, I received a threatening and demeaning personal email from Marco within a couple hours of posting this review of his business. More of the same. read more

3 moves in 5 years all done by Q&E Movers! I Initially called requesting a quote. The next day someone stopped by to check my place out and verified my quote. 3 days later, Ryan, J, and Lucky came by and immediately got to work. They were able to box all of my items neatly without damaging anything. I moved from the first floor up to the third floor but the guys didn't complain they took on the challenge with ease. Overall I paid $610 for 4hrs of work and 3 men. That's about $140 less than the original quote which is always good! One thing I will say is if you expect the movers to move fast, try and prepare your place ahead of time so that they can easily move things. Don't have items scattered everywhere, try and consolidate like items. All of these little things ensures the move goes by faster which in turn is less money you have to pay! Tell them exactly what you need, don't leave anything out. Lastly, if you're that concerned about anything being damaged, if possible, just carry it yourself! Great Job once again gents! -Dre read more

These guys are the BEST! We have used them multiple times. The name says it all. Have never worked with movers that provide as much efficiency and quality. Thanks, guys!! read more

Best moving company. Would recommend & I have to people who have used them as well & they couldn't be happier with the recommendation also. They were very impressed as I was with how quick they move and how well they protected the belongings. They also have great personalities, made me laugh a bunch of times with how they communicate with each other. They were very grateful for the cold waters and sports drinks we offered as well. I was so pleased with their service I gave each person a $20 tip. Would use again and again if ever needed. read more

Called Marco he made an appointment to come out for an estimate at a time of his choosing and no showed or called. I called him again an hour later to see what happened he explained had truck problem and was sorry did not call to inform me but rescheduled for the next day at 9 am its now 1:30 pm still no call and did not show. Guess he has so much work he does not need anymore business or atleast not mine . Did not think only one bad review was enough for concern but I see why he has one and would be concerned to go any further with this guy. Do what you say not what you can do ! Oh wait he does call me at 8 pm to let me know how much of a bad person I was to give a negative review for his non concern of my time. Sorry you can't handle the truth my friend if you don't like California go back to where you came from. Your call was even more unprofessional than your work. read more

The level of expertise, efficiency and professionalism that Korey, Josh and Josh exhibited went well beyond a 5 star review. They showed up on time and went right to task. Communication with them via the yelp messaging service was faster than expected as well. For the price that was charged, you don't get what you pay for...you get much, much more!!!!! I highly recommend this team for all your moving needs!! read more

When I called for a quote I was shocked at how competitive their pricing was compared to other moving companies so naturally I was a bit skeptical. Fast forward to Moving day and I have absolutely no complaints, they showed up on time and were very quick and efficient. These guys knew what they were doing and reassured me they got it handled. Definitely recommend! read more

I would highly recommend QEM!! We were moving from Fairfield to English Hills / Vacaville, and we have more stuff than we thought we had (time to purge, but that's another story). It took 5 guys, 2 trucks, 10 hours! And it wasn't because they were slacking. On the contrary, Anthony and his guys never stopped. They busted their butts. My husband & I were flabbergasted at their professionalism, their attitude, and their ability to pack those trucks like a Tetris game. Everything arrived intact, there was zero damage to any walls or stairs at either house, they set up the furniture here, and we couldn't be more impressed. read more

I highly recommend this moving service! They were polite, efficient, and very respectful genuinely good people. They were on time and communicated well. I had a very good experience and would use their services again. read more

We got a quick contractor to paint our house but we needed to move a lot of furniture to storage right before Easter. Quality and Efficient Movers came through for us. They were out the next day and were fantastic. Professional, quick and hard working. Josh A and Jordan have to be two of their best employees hands down. Highly recommend and we will be calling them for our move to the East Coast. read more

Great Guys but it got bad at the end because they were so tired

I'd leave zero stars if I could, as I had zero percent of a positive move with this company. I called for a quote for a next-day move, which I knew was a stretch. To my surprise, I was told by Marco (the owner, I presume) that a team was available at a reasonable price and that I could have a crew of three guys the next day, no problem! Great customer service, I thought; I was quickly proven wrong. I called back a few hours later with apologies and a request; the next day wouldn't work for my roommate after all and I requested instead we reschedule the move for two days later. Rather than politely explain that this last-minute change wasn't possible, Marco snapped at me that this would "change his whole damn thing" and then put me on "hold" so he could speak to his dispatcher. However, he didn't put me on hold at all and I heard as he loudly smack-talked me to one of his employees. He said, "this girl is cancelling on me now too, we're going to have to pull the plug on the whole place." When Marco came back to the phone, I reminded him that I was not cancelling, but rather asking for a different date for the move, a two-day difference, and that I didn't appreciate the way he was speaking to me. Marco interrupted me to snap back that it was a cancellation and that he didn't care whether or not I liked how he spoke, it was his business. He then offered me a move the following week. It should be no shocker there that I declined; I wouldn't trust someone with such a rottenly short temper to move my belongings. Put your money elsewhere. If Marco were truly worried about his business, he wouldn't treat customers like that. read more

Look no further! I had to relocate my father close to 300 miles and needed a quote. I reached out to 5 different moving companies and Quality and Efficient Movers was the first to get back to me but I was also impressed with how professional they are. Jennifer took the time to not only answer all my questions but broke down all the cost line by line. Quality and Efficient Movers are competitively well priced, when Jennifer found out the movers where for my elderly father they even gave us a senior discount!! Moving day, Lucky, Marco and Ramon were completely professional extremely friendly, they worked fast and efficiently. When they reached my sisters, they unloaded the truck in the same professional way. They actually unloaded quicker than the quoted estimated time so I actually paid less than what I was quoted. Bottom line moving is stressful and this family owned company does what they can to alleviate the stress. The level of customer service they provide along with their competitive pricing, this is definitely the moving company to go with. Thank you guys!!! read more

Lucky and Josh were great! They were on time, friendly and hard working. They took special care of all our belongings. They worked fast and they kept really close to the estimate. I would recommend these guys anytime. read more

Booked this company for a move on 9/2/2018. The move was from Fairfield to Sacramento. I originally contacted them for a quote but was still unsure of when I was actually going to schedule the move. I think I changed the date on them a few times but they remained super flexible with me. They showed up ready to work and were very pleasant to deal with. The crew they sent out (Steven, Josh, Ryan, and Ramon) were fantastic. Very nice easy going, friendly, and super helpful. These guys worked harder than anyone else I had ever seen. I will definitely be doing business with them again. I highly recommend their services. read more

The best movers in the business are right here! I gave all my information online for a quote. A representative came by to inspect our residence and said they stood firm by their quote. We setup a date and the movers arrived on time. The job was handled with professionalism and dignity. I'm very satisfied as a customer they were very careful and courteous to our environment. Their rates are the best and nobody can beat them. I highly recommend these guys. You won't be sorry. Thanks again! read more

I just used Quality and Efficient Movers to pick up and deliver some cabinets from Granite Expo in Vacaville to my home in Dixon. I couldn't be happier. I made the appointment on Friday and was able to schedule immediately. This morning, I got a call at the arranged time to let me know they were picking up the cabinets and would be delivering shortly. Two very courteous young men maneuvered a large truck into my driveway without nicking any tree branches, then gently unloaded the cabinets and put them in my house. The pricing was quite reasonable. I will definitely call Quality and Efficient Movers again when I need things moved or delivered. read more

Best movers ever. Polite, punctual, Efficient, no hidden fees. We contact them 2 weeks in advance through only 2 Yelp msg exchange. We received a clear quote. On the moving day, Owner Marco and Oscar came to helped us moving out of a large one bd apartment. They arrived perfectly on time and started moving right away. They moved like hurricane but with added special care for every item they move. They helped us to disassembled the bed and wrapped everything up with blankets for great protection. Will definitely recommend to friends and use again in the future. read more

I used Q & E Movers last weekend and they were great! Josh and another guy with a tattoo on his neck (wish I got his name) were the movers. They were fast and really nice. They moved stuff from my family's home to my upstairs apartment with ease. None of my stuff was damaged and they did a great job. Jennifer is who I scheduled the move with, she was super nice too! She was very quick to respond and answered all my questions. I would definitely call them again and recommend them. read more

I booked Quality and Efficient Movers last week. Their 5* ratings was impressive as was their almost instant replay to my inquiry. Their answers were straightforward and to the point. I wasn't disappointed when Anthony and Mark arrived. True to their word, they wrapped and bundled all my furniture, worked very smoothly and efficiently and their manner was extremely professional. What is usually a very stressful experience turned out to be calming knowing that I was in good hands and things would be taken care of properly. I couldn't be happier. My apologies to Lucky and Ramon for the delayed review, but I couldnt leave such fantastic service unrecognized. Lucky and Ramon were courteous, professional, and very efficient with my move from Davis to Foster City and I couldnt be more pleased with the value of the service they offered. I received quotes from 3 other movers in the area and Quality And Efficient Movers had the best price matched with terrific service. I can't begin to say how happy I am to finding this company. I am selling my grandma's home and needed a haul away for all the garbage and older furniture. Marco and his team were great. Responsive to emails. Since I picked up the truck a few hours early, I asked Marco if he could come sooner than scheduled, he told me he would come as soon as he finished another job. As promised, his team arrived 40 min earlier than scheduled! Great! (One of them spent quite a while in the bathroom.. No problem they were still ahead of schedule)... I really only needed a 2 man crew for the job which is who arrived initially... Then came another worker... Then arrived another.. Awesome! 4 men loading up my truck. The work was fully loaded in under less than an hour. I was not billed for the additional men, and Marco was flexible with the rate. How convenient! Will use this company again. read more
