    I don't even know where to start. We hired Craig and his team for the 2nd time. The first time was amazing, but I did the packing. It's been almost a week with our second move with them and we're only about half way through it. It's a disaster, from unmarked boxes, (in garage) to boxes that were marked from another job. The unmarked boxes are mostly in garage. Where boxes/tubs were stacked so high in the center we can't safely access them. One box was stacked up against a light fixtures. Our garage was packed/ stored in tubs on racks. However wasn't put back that way. There's not one box labeled living room. However some of my living room things were packed with kitchen things. An entire box of plastic Tupperware/ deli containers, were all wrapped individually in most cases, and put in a couple of boxes. Would've fit in one. Wrapped a single set of BBQ tongs, but not a hand painted tiki statue. No, those were crammed into a box with an upside down crosswave cleaner and a metal dolly. Wooden shoe rack, put in box with a plant and not much else. Items taken apart and not packed together. Other items labeled pans, however, were not pans. They would literally take half of a set of something in another room and pack it in with kitchen stuff. When replacing the bed, they left off a leg from the frame, when approached to finish the job the crew member was rude. The bed still isn't right, but it may have something to do with brackets we've found. Rubber suction chips missing from glass top printer , as well as half of them missing from dresser tops. All boxes marked kitchen have been emptied, but still can't find a lot of small kitchen dishes. I'm so disappointed in the way the owner has handled this. He's the owner. We hired them, trusted them. They were clearly in a hurry. If I was in better physical shape I wouldn't have needed the help. Still not done, have 2 more rooms and the garage. They over used boxes and wrapping paper, at this point we believe to increase cost. Again a plastic tumbler lid with 2 pieces of wrapping paper. Because of the horrid packing and not being able to put things away because half of them are missing..... chaos. The one thing we paid them a lot of money to avoid. I have tons of photos and videos. It's never taken me a week to unpack, ever. I don't recommend Belfor Moving to anyone. The crew AREN'T professional packers. I will update this review, if needed. Please, they may not have many bad reviews, but I have photos of all of this. Again it's been about a week. The first 4/5 days I couldn't even cook a meal. I can't stand this. We really had such a great first experience with them, but this...... it's disgusting and it's sad. There's so much more, but I need to get back to fixing the mess. Still have ALL the bar glasses, some are irreplaceable. I'm nervous. Update: not all photos uploaded. If anyone one needs more just ask. We have video as well. UPDATE: THIS HOME WAS NOT FULLY FURNISHED, ONE ROOM HAD A BED, ONLY. A CARD TABLE THAT WAS TAKEN DOWN. I DIDN'T "TALK" HIM INTO DOING THE JOB FASTER. WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT TO MYSELF. HIS RESPONSE IS HALF TRUTHS. WE HAD TO SIGN OFF ON THE JOB. THE KID STOPPED IN THE MIDDLE OF FIXING THE BED TO GO FOLD BLANKETS IN THE TRUCK. CRAIG SAYS WE COULD'VE TOLD THEM TO FIX CERTAIN THINGS.... THE KIDS WAS RUDE ABOUT FIXING WHAT HE STARTED. WE WOULD ASSUME THAT IT WOULD CAUSE A PROBLEM. THEY BROUGHT THINGS THEY WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO, LIKE TIKI TORCH FUEL. THAT SPILLED. IT WASN'T THAT THEY DIDN'T PACK "MY WAY" WHO THE HECK PACKS LIKE THAT. THIS IS EXHAUSTING. ALL THE BOXES IN THE GARAGE, EXCEPT ONE WERE LABELED THINGS LIKE "JEREMY ROOM" WE DON'T KNOW A JEREMY. A LOT OF THESE BOXES WERE USED. AS THEY DIDN'T MOVE OUR CLOTHES. IT'S SAD THAT HIS RESPONSE IS SO FULL OF DEFENSE. I WAS PRESENT, JUST NOT GETTING IN THE WAY. HE WASN'T HERE. AS FAR, AGAIN, AS PACKING STYLE. EXAMPLE, BLENDER, TAKEN APART AND PACKED IN DIFFERENT BOXES....... AS FAR AS THE HOME SIZES AS I EXPLAINED TO THE OWNER THE OLD HOUSE 1639 SQ FT, NEW HOUSE 1752 SQ FT IT'S JUST SHAPED DIFFERENTLY AND HAS STANDARD CEILING HEIGHT AND NOT VAULTED CEILINGS LIKE THE OLD HOUSE. THEY WERE JUST IN A HURRY. WE CAN'T COMPLETE ANY FORMS UNTIL WE'RE FINISHED TRYING TO SORT OUT WHERE EVERYTHING IS. THE PHOTOS ARE PROOF. ANOTHER UPDATE: Just unpacked my husband's barware. They did a GREAT job with all of that. All the stemware, bar glasses, and decanters were packed beautifully.

    Lesson learned. Go with Fast Eddie!…read more I made the mistake of hiring other movers to move a couple of heave and oversized couches for me. I went with the "other movers" initially as Eddie was busy the weekend of the proposed move. The scope of the move was to transport the couches from Petaluma to Napa. Once in Napa, the couches were to be delivered to the second floor. The "other movers" postponed our move one day due to a scheduling conflict on their part. On the day of the move, I had to use my personal truck to supplement their truck that was way undersized for the job. They moved the couches from Petaluma to Napa however, when it came down to moving it upstairs in Napa, they were convinced that it couldn't be done. They left the couches on the first floor to our dismay while still charging us the full amount claiming that the couches were larger and heavier than they anticipated. (Mind you I gave them all the specifics of the couches before hand.) In comes Eddie and team to save the day! I called Eddie a day later and he was super responsive. I shared my story with Eddie and he was eager to take on the challenge. Eddie walked the job with me and confirmed that the job could be done. He sent his best guys out to the job the following day and they arrived promptly. Very courteous and eager to get the job done. During the move they were very respectful of the items and also the property. Making sure not to damage anything. The three movers worked in unison and got the couches moved in under 45 minutes. While it was difficult moving the oversized chaise and the heavy sleeper sofa, they got it done. No complaints or issues. Only high fives all around when the job was done. I will definitely be using Eddie's services in the future and recommend that Eddie be your first call. (Learn from my mistake.) Eddie's customer service should be the standard for all services. He will get back to you promptly and listens! His positive attitude is infectious and his team carries the same demeanor.

I solicited multiple quotes, and off the top of my head I know they came in at half the price of Fresh Start Movers (PS stay away from them lol! They were horrible and so overpriced). White glove quality with Mentor Movers though (And I am picky lol!) The crew was professional, efficient, and handled everything with care. No dragging things out, no hidden surprises, no attitude--just solid, high-quality work from start to finish. They made what is usually a stressful process feel smooth and under control. The estimator MISSED the necessary space to load our personal goods by approximately 50% (almost 6000 cubic feet according to the movers working day of) causing us to have to donate quite a bit of items (beds, wine refrigerator, bicycles, chairs etc). The movers were amazing though and stayed out, in the rain, attempting to get as much loaded as possible. ADVICE: do not get ANY estimate without one of the loaders involved in seeing the personal goods (it created an approximately additional 35% expense). The actual movers knew withing 10 minutes of walking the property that they were NOT going to be able to load everything. UPDATE (FROM COMPANY RESPONSE) FOR FULL CLARITY: The "overall" comment is inherently incorrect (and disappointing) as it fails to recognize the significant additional expense of having to make other arrangements from the missed estimate as well as the fact there was a completely empty Turner moving truck onsite and Turner did not offer to take the furniture which was not able to be loaded temporarily until other arrangements could be made the next day due to their error.
