We hired Modesto and his crew to move a large, heavy server/sideboard down a long stairway and into a moving truck. They did an outstanding job. They wrapped the piece of furniture and gently maneuvered the sideboard down a stairway that had a 90 degree turn. They then loaded the rental truck for our buyers. They showed up on time, brought a truck plenty big so they didn't have to jam pack my stuff. All the guys introduced themselves upon arrival and were very nice and professional. Modesto and his colleague were great! 1. Appointment - immediate response on Yelp, and I managed to schedule my move two days in advance! This was one of the main reasons I picked them, as they were quick and could fit into my schedule (esp on off-peak times!) 2. Day of moving - Modesto was on-time (if not, earlier!) which was great and immediately started working after taking a look at what items I wanted to move. - They had lots of blankets, plastic wraps and covers to protect my furniture (i was moving from a 2b1b ground floor to a 2b1b second floor with stairs) - They also laid out blankets on the carpet floor because I mentioned I preferred them to not walk on the carpets with shoes, and they were very accomodating I thought the whole move was excellent. No problems at all. My furniture was handled with care, and they did it all in good timing as well! Modesto even came back to return a small item that was left in the truck! Modesto and his two guys were so very nice, efficient and safe and got it all done in 3 hrs time! Modesto confirmed date with me weekly and the day before and showed up right on time. He gave me the best quote of all movers in Napa too. They had to move me out of a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the 3rd floor and not so much as even a scratch on anything. These guys were great! I was able to schedule a move on a one day notice which was awesome. They were also flexible in that they serviced both me and my roommate, one of us was in Petaluma and the other in Benicia. They were careful with all my stuff and used wrap and blankets to protect everything. Both my and my roommates stuff all got safely to our new house and they set everything up for us. I have moved over a dozen times over the years and this was the best moving service that I have used. The guys called ahead to ask if it was okay they were a little early. They were very professional and helped move from a 3rd floor apartment into a house. All of the items arrived in perfect condition which was not the case with other moving companies. They even helped to set-up some of the furniture and asked about placement with each of the boxes as they carried them in. I would highly recommend this company! read more

Shady happenings here unfortunately. The owner quoted a 3 hour move with 2 men at $360. He then brought an extra man and moved me.. waiting until he is standing in my living room afterward to demand $440 because he chose to bring an extra man... never disclosing the additional cost up front!! I have no beef with his men getting paid and want them to as they work very hard... I'm not debating that, but I do take issue with bait & switch business practices. In addition to that, one of the guys he brought was clearly high and smelled very strongly of weed..He did not want to be there or be talked to. I watched him ram his hand truck into the freshly painted door jamb because he wasn't paying attention. They were on-time and moved things efficiently and reasonably well (a few chips and dings on things), but people feeling like they have been ripped off will not win you repeat business, sorry. We have both moved out of that location now and used a different company.. we had to take our business elsewhere. read more

Modesto was such a pleasure to work with. I requested quotes from a few different movers and I had to inventory everything, take pictures, etc but with Modesto it was a flat fee per hour which was so easy. When I spoke to him on the phone to schedule the move I knew I made the right choice. You can tell from a phone call what a good, kind-hearted person he is. On moving day Modesto and his colleague worked hard on a hot day. They handled all of my furniture and boxes with extreme care. They wrapped my furniture really well and with quick speed. Everything made it to my new place and unloaded without any damages. They work for a fee per hour but they don't try to take longer than it should. In fact they took the minimum time (3 hrs) to finish my 2 bedroom move. They went 15 mins over but didn't charge me for it. All in all I had a fantastic moving experience with Modesto and his colleague and I would recommend them any day. Thank you Modesto!!!! read more

We had to move from a third level apartment to another apartment, and Modesto and friend moved all of our stuff down and back up multiple flights of stairs with efficiency and care. They wrapped our things with blankets and plastic, and even broke down an old desk we wanted to get rid of. They were very professional and flexible as we had to reschedule our moving date after our initial booking. They quoted me a great price, and gave me a great deal when they were finished.
