    Beware: I used this moving company three different times, and the last move turned into a $2,400…read morenightmare. While bringing in one of my furniture items, their crew punched through the ceiling, damaged the wall, and scraped up the building siding. The building owners had to repair everything, and I was left with the $2,400 bill. The building is a gorgeous, well maintained bulding in the Marina and the owners were very upset with me as told them I used a vetted moving company: apparently not. My table was also damaged during this process. They did not offer to pay for this either or even split the difference. They will not allow you to speak to anyone in management, only Nick in customer service. Everything is fully documented with photos, and when I brought it to the company's attention their solution was to offer $150. Even worse, they told me they don't have insurance to cover this type of damage. So just be aware: if their movers damage your building or your furniture, you will be the one paying for it. I will be moving forward with a small claims court claim which is beyond unfortunate.

Simple Move's movers were unprofessional, very rough with my boxes and furniture, and downright lazy. I was referred by a friend who used the company several times with good experiences. When I reserved my move date, I asked if I should have three movers and the customer service rep said, no, two people would suffice, even after I went through the inventory I wanted to move. To start off, the movers arrived and blocked my neighbor's driveway. I asked them to move, but they said they would move only if required. I decided to pick my battles and have them start loading. Upon entering my house, the lead mover immediately said this was too much stuff and required three people. I asked him to call the office and have another mover come but he said, "maybe later." I told him I had suggested that as well and was told two would be fine. He declined but continued to complain. They damaged the floors and walls - slid my furniture and other items that left severe marks and scratches on the hardwood floors and banged the wall corners and damaged the drywall. I asked them to pick stuff up and to be careful with the floors and walls. The lead guy argued with me and told me that "He wasn't Superman and couldn't pick up everything." He was at least 6'2'' and very fit. The floors continued to be damaged. The movers complained about getting furniture out of my house and damaged the legs of my sofa along with my table and bed frame. Very unprofessional. I moved my stuff to storage and because I had complained earlier, they literally loaded 2 boxes at a time on a hand truck and walked it in, dragging it out even longer. I asked the movers to better organize my boxes, etc. in the storage unit (wasn't going to fit and it was bigger storage space than I needed in the first place) and "Superman" yelled at me and said he was the expert and if I was going to direct him on where to put stuff then he would drop the boxes and furniture there and then I could stack and move everything myself. At that point, I called the office and explained the situation. I asked them to call their movers and straighten things out as it was an unacceptable situation. It got a little better after that but instead of a 3.5 hour move, it took 5.5 hours. Icing on the cake was being called bitch in Russian over and over. I had PTSD after this move and didn't have the energy to call and report the lack of professionalism and how bad the experience was. Do not use this company.
